Running away as fast as she could, Allen felt helpless. She could fight against werewolves, but she had this nagging feeling deep in her heart that she could barely understand.
An odd feeling, but Allen had this gut feeling that she did not want to hurt him but wanted to get close to that man instead.
Thankfully, she had a strong will. Allen would never let herself be controlled by anyone anymore. She would rather fight than fall into someone else's hands.
Her veins might contain a werewolf's blood, but it did nothing to stop her from hating them after discovering that most of the people in the lab were werewolves.
She saw them transform with her own eyes. Allen could not ignore the possibility that they might belong to the same pack who were trying to turn a hybrid into a pure werewolf.
Especially that time when they were training her. They would turn themselves into a wolf then engage her in hand-to-hand combat without the aid of any weapon.
Imagine a small-framed lass who's only less than five feet tall engaging in combat against a werewolf who was five to six feet taller than her.
They would not stop until there was almost no part of her left unscathed. Her body was full of deep wounds, tearing the flesh in her small body, almost breaking her into pieces.
There were countless times when she wished she would just die to end her agony. Unfortunately, they would see to it that she did not end up dead. They would stop tormenting her whenever she was on her last breath.
Thus, she deeply hated werewolves the most.
Since the wolves she encountered a moment ago did not have the intention to attack her unlike the other werewolves she had met in the past, Allen took her chance to leave.
She had been running for some time now, away from those wicked wolves, almost arriving at the place she had been at first. Without warning, apart from those strange feelings, Allen's body suddenly acted strangely.
Caught off guard, Allen almost staggered as she just jumped down from a high wall. It felt like there were thousands of needles penetrating her pores. She felt hot, her blood seemed to turn into flames.
"Damn wolves!" Allen hissed, cursing while gritting her teeth in anger.
Her wolf blood had been in a dormant state since she woke up from her long sleep. She was very happy about it, but it now seemed to be suddenly turning active.
"Very manipulating!" Allen hatefully added, thinking that these things were done by that dark-eyed dog she met who kept on staring at her deeply!

With the unknown, strange feelings happening within her body, Allen immediately pulled her phone out of her pocket and dialed Alex's number as she kept on running.
She knows she's in trouble. Allen was informed that any creature belonging to the underworld should only be able to smell her vampire blood.
Alex has already explained the situation of her body, as he had experienced it before her. Now, she was no longer sure.
It felt like her wolf blood was about to go on a rampage and her throat felt like it's burning. Thus, Allen could only call Alex for help.
She was currently appearing as a vampire, even though she had wolf blood in her veins. But as far as she could remember, she had never turned into her wolf form before.
Luckily, she didn't continue chasing after that person. Otherwise, she would be in a disastrous situation.
"What the hell did that damned dog do to me?" Allen muttered under her breath, her fingers didn't stop dialing on the phone.
Then she cursed, "A damned wicked dog!"
As soon as the call got connected, without waiting for the person on the other line to speak, "Alex! I think I'm going to awaken my wolf!" She exclaimed, her voice sounding a bit hoarse.
Alex on the other line, exclaimed in shock, "No! That's Impossible!"
Allen: "...'' Stunned by her brother's unexpected words.
"Do you think I'm f*cking kidding you?!" She growled in anger.
"Hey! Mind your words, young lady!" Alex warned before he recalled, "But you have already awakened before." Then he paused. "I forgot you can't remember that time…"
Alex couldn't help thinking for a second before speaking in a worried voice. "Hold on! Your wolf blood should be inactive! How could this be?"
Allen's wolf blood should only activate after a year after she woke up. Just like Alex who had undergone the same process as her.
Therefore, only her vampire blood, which the laboratory thought had been eliminated from her body, was currently active.
Knowing he can't think of the reason for this to happen to Allen, Alex's mind suddenly thought of an unexpected idea.
"Could it be that you're in heat??" His voice came off weird though, unsure whether he was teasing her or it's his conjuncture.
"Heat my ass!! Meet me on 13th street in the first district, in the parking lot not far from where I was abducted before, near Encephalon." Allen scoffed. "And be quick!"
Honestly, aside from awakening and turning into a wolf, Allen didn't know anything about a wolf in heat. It wasn't explained to her when she was in the lab. All they ever did was experiment on and train her how to fight.
Thus, Allen never even thought of the implication of getting in heat.
Although she had read about werewolves and vampire stories when she was young, those books did not entail anything about mature content as she was an obedient little girl in the past.
Arriving in the parking lot, she instantly took out the car keys before stepping into the car.
As she slammed the door shut, Allen's body started shaking, beads of sweat started forming on her forehead.
She was not sure whether this sensation was a sign of the awakening of her wolf. But Lyra was confused about what's happening to her.
