Somewhere inside the Dalbergia HQ
Even though it was near midnight, everyone inside Mr. Dunbar’s office was in a frenzy. But instead of milling around, they were staring intently at one screen while holding champagne glasses. No one spoke a word. On the screen was a countdown, it was at 4:22.
Slowly one by one, the members stood up. The atmosphere was tense, so tense that you could hear a pin drop. And the clock kept on ticking.
Suddenly, the chief programmer burst into the room, yelling “We have a problem!”
All eyes turned onto this new intruder that broke the tense silence. While under the intense gaze of various department head, the chief programmer slowly stammered out the problem. Apparently someone had logged into Legendary Age before the game even started. But his complaint was ignored by the people in the room. Instead they forcefully dragged the poor programmer into the room, roughly handed him a glass of champagne and returned to watching the clock countdown. It was 1:20.

When the clock hit 1:00, everyone in the room was standing. Mr. Dunbar whipped out his cellphone and whispered “Last minute. Prepare the launch.”
Slowly, the clock inched towards :30. At that point, many of the members started crying. They were part of history. They imagined themselves telling stories to their grandchildren saying, “I was part of the team that first developed Virtual Reality that you young uns now use so much!”
Finally, it was time. The clock struck 0! Immediately, the room erupted. Champagne was spilled everywhere as everyone tried to savor the moment by jumping up and down. Legendary Age had launched!
While everyone left the room satisfied, the chief programmer was in a sour mood. His carefully crafted plan of making Shurki take the blame for playing a day early had failed. He needed a new plan, and this time, the plan had to curse Shurki to the depths of hell.
