Amai and Vey looked at each other while slowly standing up, and watched as an Earth-tier beast walked through the shrubs. Its navy blue scales shone in the sunlight.
It was 2 and a half metres long and 4 meteres wide. Its armoured tail which looked like it had a spiked ball at the end swayed from side to side slowly.
Its long fangs and short nose turned to Amai. It was a Dark Armoured Flat-Back Kheifer, known forits high defence and paralizing attributes .It was a commonly used breed by bandits and hunters and sure enough there was a man on a saddle on its back. This was commonpace in a world where people could make contracts with beasts, that is if the beast approved of them.
He wore brown light leather armour, with two brown utility belts, one across his waist and the other across his solar plexus. He also wore a black undershirt and black pants under the armour. He had a bow on his back, it had a green sheen that matched the green dagger on his waist.
Amai looed for his spear.
It was propped up against a tree a couple of metres away. He started a dash for it, but from the brush between him an the spear another Dark Armoured Flat-Back Kheifer appeared, its rider smiling devilishly at Amai.

Shit. He'd been careless!
The Kheifer ahead of him released an ear piercing cry. Amai felt like his mind was vibrating. He fell on his nees and so did Vey. At this point his head felt like it was about to rupture.
It was one of the Kheifers abilities. Shrill Cry. Puts the enemy into a vunerable state and weakening them for about 30 seconds. The rider wore black light clothing with small brown armour pates scattered around his body. He held a short axe in one hand as he hed the reins in the other.
"Ohohooooo, looky what we have here. Some damn fine cubs I might say," the one with the bow said rearing his beast.
"Fucking hell, lets just test them already, we are losing daylight!!" the other said.
"Ok, damn, where did I put it?" The first one said to himself, rummaging through one of the bags tied to his beast,"Aaaah! Here we go!"
The other had alreadybegun to tie up Amai while the other climbe off. Soon both Amai and Vey were tie up in their weakened state.
Amai came to a realization.
It finally added up.
Their rmour and weapons were of superior quality. Armour and weapons were similary divided into tiers, from worst to best quality, Common-Tier equiptment, Earth-Tier equiptment, Copper-Tier equiptment, Silver-Tier equiptment, Gold-Tier equiptment, Diamond-Tier equiptment, Blood-Tier equiptment and Emarald-Tier equiptment.
Their armour and weapons were all of Copper-Tier. One piece of Copper-Tier equiptment cost n excess of 1000 gurn. The most money Amai had ever seen was 20 gurns, a large percentage what his mother ue to buy the supply, leaving only 3 in his posesion.
No common bandits would have such high tier equiptment, except the most heineous of bandits....
Human Traffickers!!
