Updates (Good News!) - 5x Weekly Releases and Edits

Hey folks!

There's nothing but good news below, and I think you'll agree. Thanks for reading so far, and I hope you're enjoying your time in my Giant-filled future Manila!

Release schedule: I'll now be releasing 5 chapters weekly (Monday to Friday at 9:05 AM EST). This is mainly because I've been overflowing with ideas lately and I want to get more of this story into your hands.

Patreon releases: In the coming weeks I'll be growing my backlog of chapters, so I'll be able to provide +5 and +10 chapters in advance on my Patreon (for the same price). More on that once my backlog is sufficiently large.

Now, a word on edits.

I think the below changes are better for the health of the book, though in the short term they might cause confusion, especially if you're already caught up with the story. You shouldn't have to go back and read.

I'll start with the most impactful changes and work my way down to the least (but still important).

New early chapters for Jayson and the "Giant Killers": I have written new chapters, split some up and renamed others earlier in the story. This is going to make the chapter numbers rise (e.g., Chapter 4 suddenly becomes Chapter 7). Here are the edited and new chapters:

Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author.

- Teleperformix [Jayson] - New

- Giant Killers [Jayson] - Renamed from "Scraping Fiction"

- Raining in Manila [Jayson] - New

- DEPOSIT FICTION HERE! [Jayson] - New chapters that contains previous scene from Home [Jayson]

I made these changes to focus more on Jayson early and to also strengthen the bond with his friends, who are now going to colloquially call themselves Giant Killers instead of fiction scrapers. I'll be propagating those changes throughout the book.

Glossary Removed: I removed the Glossary entirely. I think having a wall of definitions as a reader's first impression of the book is off-putting, so I've weaved in the definitions in the story the first time a new word is used.

Janice as a journalism major: This one is subtle. Janice was briefly described as being a nursing major, but I've now made her major in journalism. You'll see how (or if) this matters later!

That's all for now, folks. As always, let me know what you think in the comments!

P.S.: Most of my readers are not followers (or even RR users)! If you're enjoying the story, please consider Liking and Favoriting :)

Best Regards,

DUDEMIKE
