So you might be wondering how a vampire starts their day, not that different from anyone else’s I assume; wake up, drink coffee, eat food not people, shower, shit, and shave. All the usual suspects. Oh you’re surprised that I eat and drink like the fucking normies? Well here’s the answer for you; while blood is an amazing way to bulk up for gains because of its high protein, vampires ain’t in it to get swole. I drink it because I was told to and I’m a good boy and don’t want to die.
Look I don’t need to understand it, I’m sure there’s a lot smarter people than me out there that know or are trying to work it out. I drink the red juice, it keeps me alive. Eating meals are filling physically but there’s still a hunger like you haven’t had a satisfying meal. Which keeps getting worse so the longer you abstain the worse it gets and makes us go a bit feral.
Now I don’t want to look like a koala that's hitting the methamphetamines so I drink the red juice and you know what, it hasn’t failed me yet. Unfortunately drinking blood in front of my parents freaks them the fuck out so I moved out. Which means I have to work.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Now at first I thought it would be fun; to live by myself, eat what I want, go to sleep when I want. However realism took a massive dump on my pillow when I learned about taxes and bills. There is only one guarantee in life, bills. I let out a sigh.
“Stop your bitching and get back to work.” The snappy voice of my manager ordered, Selene Hunter. A absolute slave driver, works the entire team longer and harder than any of the others, ice cold bitch some might call her, never to her face. They’re too scared to do that, but I have a crush on her. My boss.
I honestly don’t know when it started, actually I do. She yelled at me on my first day and I liked it. Sue me. As far as I know she doesn’t have anyone, no boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, whatever.
Is it completely unprofessional? Well yes however, I can always find another job. After moving around several times and losing relationships I had built with my friends, there's nothing a fresh start won’t fix. Luckily for me, today is the last day of this project. We’re imminently close to completing it so when we finish the entire team is going to go out for dinner together.
Just a few more hours…
