Prologue: The End of the End.... Until a New Beginning?

A young boy was laying on his side curled up like a ball. Completely surrounding him was an endless black abyss, with no end in sight. He couldn't move an inch.

It's been weeks since his death. Why was he here? Was this hell? All this time he had not been able to think properly. What did he do to end up like this?

'How do I end this...?'

A question he asked himself over and over again. Eventually, the formerly innocent boy became corrupt.

'It's their fault. They sent me to this hellhole. Why couldn't it be them who had to suffer like this. I was the kind one. Even though they ridiculed me all of my life, I WAS THE ONE WHO SAVED THEM! THOSE UNGRATEFUL BASTARDS!'

2 years passed by in the blink of an eye. Slowly but surely, an unquenchable hunger started to appear.

'Still…I’m dead…I wish I didn't die… Why has God forsaken me?'

Although he wished for life, he gave up all hope. His thoughts further corrupted his mind. Even the devil would cower in fear of the young boy as he is now. No thoughts of joy could form in his head, even if he tried. Which, of course, he didn't.

Another year passed him by. At this point, he reached a period of enlightenment which only one who lost his mind could even begin to comprehend.

'Why do I suffer... Because they betrayed me...'

'Why did this happen… Because they were weak and couldn't save themselves…'

'Why did I save them.......................'

He couldn't find an answer. Did he think they would accept him if he did? Deep within the crevice of his mind, he knew they wouldn't even if he saved them. Suddenly, he realized it.

'I did it to change myself'

'I was weak. I need to be strong'

'Who must I kill? My enemies'

'Who must I save? Those who I own. They won’t betray me'

'Who do I own....?'

While contemplating this within the depths of his mind, the endless dark abyss slowly started turning white. Did his conclusion mean his answer was right? Was the answer to his question the answer to leave this endless hell?

While thinking of this, he started to feel sleepy. Before he drifted off, he was able to hear the first voice in years to ever reach his ears. And what it said surprised him.

"Honey, you did it! It's a boy!"
