The morning sun cast a soft glow on the sprawling grounds of the boarding school as Sarah stepped out of her dormitory. Her first challenge awaited when she saw the main female character, Emily, fall on her own. She knew what would happen and what she had to do next.
Sarah had to act like she had witnessed a disturbing scene. Three girls in a group had intentionally placed a rock on the way of the main female character, Emily, causing her to fall while minding her own business and then the trio began taunting the fallen girl.
It's not like Sarah condones bullying but it's more of apathy by witnessing the same scenario multiple times.
Sarah then had to confront the group because she was unable to stand by and engage in a tense exchange of words. Just as the situation will escalate, a male teacher, alerted by the commotion, will swiftly approach. Seeing the approaching teacher, the three girls will retreat and disappear before he arrives.
When the confrontation diffuses, Sarah will act like she turned and tried to help Emily to pick up her scattered belongings. However, the teacher, with a stern look, will beat her to it, helping and ensuring she is taken care of. The incident left a lingering tension in the air, but the teacher's intervention will spark the romance between the main female character and the teacher.
This was the scenario that she thought would happen. Therefore, when the first laughter erupted, it was her cue to head towards the main female character to help her. But something weird happened when she noticed that she could not hear any more laughter and paused. Sarah then looked towards Emily, and she was shocked.
Emily, the main female character, abruptly emitted a chill which silenced the crowd. Emily rose with an unsettling grace, her cold gaze fixing on the girl who laughed. In those eyes lay a silent warning, a challenge that needed no words.

Before anything else could happen, a trio of girls, known to be Emily's staunch followers except Sarah, swiftly moved to her side. With an air of protective solidarity, the trio formed a shield around Emily, warding off any potential mockery.
Mia, one of the minions, spoke up with unwavering determination, "Think twice before you laugh at our leader."
The group's collective presence sent a clear message—mocking Emily carried consequences. Emily, the silent orchestrator of the moment, allowed her minions to assert dominance on her behalf.
The initial spectators, once amused, now hesitated, sensing the weight of the situation. The air crackled with an unspoken understanding that crossing this clique could invite repercussions.
With disdainful glances directed at the girl who laughed, the trio of minions surrounded Emily, creating an impenetrable fortress around their leader. The group gracefully navigated through the lingering crowd, leaving behind a subdued atmosphere.
Sarah, who witnessed this situation, was confused because this was not how the script was supposed to flow. She knew all the scenario surrounding Emily because she also belonged to this book. Just in case, she checked her [PROFILE] again.

[BOOK: WILDERNESS]
James, who was on the look-out asked Sarah who was carving a wood.
"Do you know that I met someone like us whose character was not there from the start in their own book?"
Sarah stopped her carving and looked towards James. She then replied.
"What are you talking about? Did you meet someone else other than our group?"
James said with a stiff face.
"Yes, I met other people like us but that is not the point I am trying to convey..."
"What is it you are trying to say? If it is not that important then do not disturb me when I'm doing my hobby."
James sighed and then replied.
"I'm just trying to say that some characters start well after main story of the book started but they don't realize it until much later..."

"Well fuck, but even if I am starting well after, the Emily I saw now was not the Emily I remember. It also means that someone else similar to me is now present in the book from the start and they fucked up so bad that Emily deviated from her character. What a mess."
Sarah then said to particularly no one.
"That means detective work for me.... well shit."
