As James made his way through the deserted corridors, his eyes scanned the walls for any signs of life. The fluorescent lights flickered intermittently, casting eerie shadows across the walls. P.R.O.T.E.C.T. was by his side, scanning the area for any potential threats.
As they passed by a room, P.R.O.T.E.C.T. beeped urgently, causing James to stop in his tracks. "What's up?" James asked, turning to his companion.
"There's a pharmacy in that room," P.R.O.T.E.C.T. informed him. "It looks like there's a lot of useful items inside, including bandages, antibiotics, and various types of medicine. It could be extremely beneficial for us to stock up."
James nodded in agreement, and they made their way inside the pharmacy. The room was filled with shelves upon shelves of medical supplies, and James couldn't help but feel relieved at the sight of them.
He began to gather as many items as he could carry, taking care to inspect each one closely. He grabbed bandages, antibiotics, painkillers, and a variety of other medicines that he recognized. He also took a few items that he wasn't familiar with, figuring that they might come in handy at some point.
As he continued to scour the shelves, James noticed a strange noise coming from the corner of the room. He turned to investigate, and his eyes widened in surprise.
There, huddled in the corner, was a small dog. It looked up at James with big, pleading eyes, and he could see that it was injured.
Without hesitation, James made his way over to the dog and began to inspect its injuries. It had a deep gash on its leg, and James could tell that it was in a lot of pain.
He immediately began to clean the wound, using the supplies he had gathered from the pharmacy. The dog whimpered softly, but James could tell that it was starting to feel a little better.
As he worked, P.R.O.T.E.C.T. beeped happily, indicating that it was scanning the area and finding no signs of danger.
Finally, James finished treating the dog's wound, and he watched as it slowly got to its feet. It looked up at him with a wag of its tail, and James couldn't help but smile.
"Looks like we've got a new companion," he said to P.R.O.T.E.C.T. "We'll have to think of a name for him."
"Are current goal is to get out of here quickly, than we can name the dog" P.R.O.T.E.C.T. beeped to James
"but how would you like to make the dog a party member for now?" P.R.O.T.E.C.T. Chimed.
"Understood, P.R.O.T.E.C.T.," James responds as he considers the idea of making the dog a party member. He has never had a pet before, let alone a dog that he can remember at least, but the thought of having a loyal companion by his side in this dangerous world is appealing.
"What does it mean to make the dog a 'party member'?" James asks, curious about what the implications of such a decision would be.
"It means that the dog will become a member of our team and will fight alongside us. It will also be able to assist you in various ways, such as sniffing out hidden items and detecting enemies," P.R.O.T.E.C.T. explains.
James thinks about it for a moment before making his decision. "Yes, I would like to make the dog a party member," he says, feeling a sense of excitement at the prospect of having a furry friend by his side.
"Very well. I will initiate the process," P.R.O.T.E.C.T. responds as it begins to scan the dog once again. After a few moments, it announces, "The process is complete. The dog is now a party member."
James kneels down to pet the dog, feeling a newfound sense of camaraderie with his new companion. "Welcome to the team, buddy," he says with a smile.

P.R.O.T.E.C.T. interrupts their moment of bonding, reminding James that they still have a mission to complete. "As heartwarming as this is, we need to continue on our journey to find a way out of this facility. The exit routes are still marked on the walls. Shall we proceed?"
James and P.R.O.T.E.C.T. walked cautiously through the dimly lit corridors of the lab, their new dog companion in tow. The only sounds were the faint hum of the facility's generators and the occasional drip of water from leaky pipes. As they approached the exit, P.R.O.T.E.C.T. beeped with urgency, detecting signs of life outside.
James and the dog exchanged a nervous glance before following P.R.O.T.E.C.T.'s instructions to slowly and quietly make their way outside. They emerged into a surprisingly well-camouflaged parking lot, filled with destroyed cars and an abandoned EVAC point.
The dog started growling, picking up on something amiss. James and P.R.O.T.E.C.T. immediately took cover behind a nearby car and scanned the area for any threats. In the distance, they saw movement and P.R.O.T.E.C.T. warned James of the incoming danger.
James took a deep breath and prepared for battle, gripping his GerberStrong arm tightly. P.R.O.T.E.C.T. provided tactical guidance as the zombies closed in, snarling and moaning. With quick reflexes, James took them down one by one with his enhanced strength and agility, moving with grace and precision.
As the last zombie hit the ground, James and the dog breathed a sigh of relief. They quickly searched the area for supplies and found a cache of weapons and ammunition, along with several first-aid kits and antibiotics. P.R.O.T.E.C.T. scanned the area and located a hidden compartment, filled with food and water. Their dog companion had already sniffed it out and was scratching at the crate.
James and P.R.O.T.E.C.T. exchanged a virtual glance, impressed by the dog's instincts. With their supplies restocked and a new ally by their side, they set off once again towards safety, uncertain of what dangers lay ahead but confident in their abilities.
P.R.O.T.E.C.T. beeped in approval, awarding James with 30XP for successfully navigating the facility and surviving the zombie encounter and another perk point. James felt a surge of satisfaction, leveling up once again along with the long list of perk points, and deciding to increase his intelligence level to 8 out of 10. along with his agility making it a 7.

James Mentally stood in front of P.R.O.T.E.C.T., contemplating which perk to choose. "I think I'm going to go with Scavenger's Instinct," he said finally.
P.R.O.T.E.C.T. hummed thoughtfully. "A wise choice. With this perk, you will be able to locate and identify valuable resources more easily."

P.R.O.T.E.C.T. gave a small smile. "I have no doubt that you can. Just remember to be cautious and aware of your surroundings."

As they walked, James and P.R.O.T.E.C.T. discussed strategy and possible destinations for safety. The dog trotted alongside them, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings. "Find a safe place to sleep for the night, and i will award you 10xp" P.R.O.T.E.C.T. beeped.
