Chapter 103: The metal monster

BETH

Beth roared. Three deposits snapped into distinction. She tore into them.

The bitter taste of adrenaline rushed into her mouth without pause. A surge went through her body. The iron taste of blood mingled with the adrenaline in her mouth. Another surge went through her. It was as if her soul changed.

…Beth transformed. Her body outgrew its human shape by a tenfold degree. The storm of rage came to its full potential. Her arms and legs became thick as the support beams of buildings. A flash flowed across her skin and tissue, turning any human element to metal.

Everything and everyone deserved death. All was unfair, life was unfair. All sentience was unfair.

All that was around her were corpses, not knowing they were all dead already.

A lightning bolt thundered from the stone man’s weird arm.

She shrugged its impact off, grabbed the weird arm and snapped it. She grabbed the man with his stone body, stretched him and twisted him in her giant hands. But he didn’t snap. She roared her irritation at his face and threw him across the room, he crashed through a wall or two. It didn’t matter.

“Come on!” A cyborg yelled in front of her. He held Tom’s severed head. Tom was dead.

The metal monster roared her battle cry and rushed forward. Anyone in her path met their maker through the guidance of her fists.

The cyborg barely fought back as she grabbed his puny body. She stretched him and twisted. That satisfying crunch occurred when his body snapped into two. The two pieces of his corpse landed among the others on the floor.

Stolen novel; please report.

Someone on a platform was yelling. Someone who wanted the metal monster’s guidance to their maker. The man’s body crackled with lightning, but it changed nothing. Everyone deserved death. Another man stood behind the electric man, staring at her. The second man, she thought she knew him. More reason to help him meet his maker. Saif? Maybe, but it didn’t matter. Death mattered, the making of corpses mattered.

She ran across the field of battle. All of whom did not move out of the way, were made into corpses. She reached for the neck of a red scaled dragon. But it flapped its wings and escaped her reach. Her eyes found that Saif again. Death dealing and corpse making, her heart shuddered, this man deserved it more than anyone else.

She leaped.

Her weight and purpose almost crashed through the platform. The electric man said something and she reached for him, meaning to make him into a corpse. But the man vanished as a lightning bolt. Lucky him, otherwise the floor would have welcomed his face.

Saif extended his palms at her. Some invisible force grabbed at her, applying pressure against her metal body, but her tissue was too strong, her will too strong. Saif was using telekinesis.

She slammed her fists at him and the platform collapsed under them, sending them both back down to the field of battle. She plowed through the rubble, looking for the body that needed corpse making. Saif stood up and hovered above the rubble, his skin shone brightly in the overhead lights. Diamond? Something strong enough to withstand the full power of her fists and that was not much in this world that could. A true contender.

She roared her battle cry, making all living beings shake within out of fear of her corpse making.

She leaped. Fist after fist landed on Saif, but he refused to be made into the corpse he was meant to become. The man fought back, using his invisible force, to throw her off balance. But she was the metal monster, the death dealer and corpse maker, no force in the world stopped her will and anger.

Saif started transforming into a cloud like form.

She roared and grabbed the intangible form straight from the air and slammed it down, Saif turned back into his normal shape. He looked scared, as anyone who faced her anger rightfully should.

A crack went through the very hull of the ship. The ship was too to be made into a corpse.
