"Oi captain, old grand silver balls is calling for ya! they say it's something urgent!"
I wake up to loud banging on the door of my room. Can't even nap in peace eh?
"Something urgent?! Have we not just eradicate the entire enemy army yesterday? Can't they let us at least rest for a single day?" I said while letting out a huge yawn.
"Oh, put a cap on it, will ya? Just get ready quickly and head for the ceremonial hall. They all should be waiting for ya there."
As you heard just now, I'm a soldier, the "captain" of my own squadron to be exact. A warrior that's part of our kingdom's army. Up until the sweet wake-up call I just received, I had been resting at a guest room at the royal castle. Of course, I've been offered to rest here after our triumph yesterday.
While feeling like I'd fall over any minute now, I lazily put on my gear and dragged myself towards the ceremonial hall.
Finally, I made it.
As I walked along the fabulous carpet, I not only spotted all of my subordinates lined up, but those from other squadrons as well.

The pile of fellow brutes that I led were awkwardly trying to strike formal poses to no avail. I was no different than them.
This is going to be quite the knighting ceremony, huh?
Then, my gaze fell upon "him".
Sir Arthur, the Grey Raven.
I'm not sure why, but as our eyes met, he put on an expression that had a hint of disgust and hate concealed within it.
Anyways, "Sir" Arthur here is supposed to be our kingdom's most accomplished knight.
After giving me a " warm greeting" with his face, Sir Raven disappeared back into the crowd of nobles that were present.
-Then, after what felt like ages of standing around and greeting various fellow soldiers and nobles, everyone's attention was redirected towards the man of the crown, who cleared his throat loud enough to be heard throughout the entirety of the ceremonial hall, as if signaling the crowd to focus on him, who was about to begin speaking.
The king began speaking at last:
"Welcome. Today, is a day of glory. Today, a new dawn shall shine upon us. Today, is a day on which we'd like to celebrate our victory in defending our glorious land, and protecting her from the foul, vulgar and unsightly Alrian army. But before we begin, I'd like to commemorate the outstanding warriors who were exceptional in battle, and who fought valiantly for the good of tomorrow. Warriors, who shone a light of bravery and honor during battle. Now-"
-After, yet again, what felt like ages, I seem to have lost myself deep in a sea of thought. While the king was knighting the soldiers he had called upon, I heard something which brought me out of my daze:
"Brave warrior, captain of the Ash Phantom, Kazimir, come forth".
