Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Dragon leaned back and started thinking again. He had a bad feeling. He just didn’t know why. It couldn’t be because of his brothers, as they had trained together since they were eight. For ten whole years they sparred against each other, compared their self created techniques and tried to surpass one another. Eventually they realized that all of them were the strongest in a certain area, except for Dragon, who was strong in every area. He was almost as strong as Tiger, almost as fast as Hawk, almost as agile as Snake and he could take almost as many punches as Turtle, so they decided to make him the leader, as he united the strength of them all. At some point they couldn’t advance in their martial arts anymore, they hit a bottleneck. It was like an invisible wall which blocked their way to enlightenment. This changed everything, as all of them were martial arts fanatics. The only thing equally important to martial arts were woman, but since all of them deeply believed in true love, they never really did anything else than play with woman. So they decided to try to gain enlightenment by killing people, as they had read about this way in an old script from their dojo. Dragon sighed. They were killing gang members for almost two years now and none of them felt an increase in their power, nor any form of enlightenment.

‘Well at least we kill the trash of society’ he thought and turned to look at his brothers which, similar to him, were deep in thought. He decided to lightly meditate until they reached their destination and closed his eyes.

Two hours later, the van rolled onto an abandoned courtyard, which bordered to their target zone. Dragon opened his eyes looked at his brothers and took some sheets of paper out of the pocket of his jacket.

“This is the area. Our targets should be in this big building, but some of them could be inside the smaller buildings or the surrounding trenches” he said as he spread a map on his legs, pointing several things out.

“Snake what’s the enemies strength and how are they armed?” he asked right after and looked towards the man with the Snake mask.

“Was fairly easy to find that out, which kind of surprised me, as there are some big underground figures residing in that building.” He said with a low voice:

You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.

“They have about sixty people, all of them are armed and I didn’t find any martial artists. They are armed with standard military rifles from Germany, some Ak’s from Russia and I saw a few people with Drag’s.” Snake concluded.

Dragon slowly nodded his head and looked towards Hawk. “You got the Drag’s?” he asked.

“Who do you think I am?!” Hawk asked in a shocked voice, but right afterwards he became serious: “No problem for me, bro” and pulled out two long and slender curved daggers, forged out of a similar metal as Dragon’s axes.

“I swear to god…If I have to pull some bullets out of my back again, cause you ‘overlooked’ someone, then I will personally drill them into your body!” Turtle said while glaring angrily at Hawk, who in turn just shrugged his shoulders.

“Not my fault that you are big…and to your information that lone sniper was totally hiding under my radar, he must’ve known me!” Hawk said righteously.

Turtle gasped: “You know what…-“

“Enough! Turtle has the distraction been taken care of?” Dragon directly interrupted that conversation and looked towards the biggest man in the truck, who was wearing a turtle mask.

“Of course brother, who do you think I am?!” Turtle answered with exactly the same words Hawk used before, who in turn became huge eyes as he looked at Turtle. “Oi, Oi…’big’ Turtle, are you sure that you distraction isn’t the same useless crap we had in Algeria? I mean why did you think it would be a good idea to hire some prostitutes to distract the police??!” he said mockingly and Snake quietly laughed in the background.

“ENOUGH!” Tiger growled loudly which shocked the three disputing brothers and they quickly turned around to look at him. “I do not have enough patience to put up with your constant useless discussions today so cut it out, or I will make sure that each of you three gets to feel my fists!” he said with a clear threat in his voice and slowly rubbed his fists, which were armed with black metal brass knuckles.

“You will have to catch me first though…” Hawk whispered under his breath, but directly panicked as one of Tigers fists flashed in front of his face without warning.

“Hey holy shit bro!!” he complained loudly.

“I. SAID. ENOUGH.” Dragon growled loudly and the other four saw him drawing his axes out of the loops on the sides of his black pants.

“Alright, alright!!” all of them quickly said and looked towards Dragon.

Dragon looked each of his brothers in the eyes and said: “I have a bad feeling, so I want you to take this seriously, even though it looks like a piece of cake! You understand me?!”

“Yes bro!” all of them agreed with a serious gaze.

“Turtle! Start the distraction!” Dragon said seriously.

“Already started five minutes ago” Turtle said with a look to his watch.

Dragon looked another time deep into the eyes of each of his brothers and opened the door.

“Let’s go!” he said and ran towards the target zone.
