CHAPTER 1110 ACHE RIDDLE
Chapter 1110 Ache Riddle
She slowly opened the lid of her milk tea and took a sip.
Cameron's face looked a bit haggard as he stared at Selena for a moment and walked towards her.
Leia stared at him warily.
Cameron stopped three steps away from Selena and coughed lightly. "Lady Selena, I don't mean
anything else. I just want to apologize to you for what happened before."
Selena raised an eyebrow.
The second young master of the Soo family was not here for Penelope.
Penelope was currently being held in the court and was likely to receive a sentence of at least ten
years.
After Cameron finished speaking, he nodded to Selena and left.
Selena was truly surprised this time.
Did the Soo family really send someone here just to apologize to her? Content © copyrighted by .
Are they really such easy people to talk to?
Leia glared at Cameron's back, her eyebrows furrowed and her eyes squinted.
It seemed like this family had no intention of hiding their intentions!
The Cooke sisters also looked puzzled.
But the innocent girls didn't think too much about it and happily took Selena to visit Capital University.
Selena spent the whole day at Capital University and didn't return to the villa until evening. Then, when
she got out of the car, she saw someone sitting on a bench.
It was a boy in a blue and white hospital gown, sitting quietly under a tree, his whole body so pale that
he was almost transparent.
When he heard a sound, the boy raised his head, revealing a face that was as white as his skin, with
eyes as black as empty holes, but so pure that they were indescribable.
Selena looked at those eyes, and for a moment, she felt as if she was seeing the eyes of the boy she
had raised.
He also had such eyes.
Clean and bright.
Like lustrous jade under a bodhi tree.
The difference was that her brother, the elegant young man, was sharp as a green steel sword, far from
being as lifeless as this boy.
Selena took a glance and then turned her gaze away, heading towards the gate.
Leia was staring at the suddenly appeared young man, trying to guess his identity. She saw Selena
had already walked away emotionlessly, and immediately followed her. Just as Selena's footsteps were
about to step into the gate, a faint pleading voice finally came from behind them.
"Please... let me go in and see her."
Selena stopped in her tracks and slightly turned her head to look at the young man who had stood up
at some point. "Do you even know what you're saying?" Even his voice was fragile and seemed to
break at any moment. "I'm sorry..." the young man lowered his head.
Selena's tone remained calm. "Give me a reason."
The young man quietly looked Selena in the eyes. "Perhaps I can make her wake up. And when she
does, I'll leave immediately. I promise she won't see me."
Selena stared at the dark eyes for a while, then dropped a sentence. "Let him in." She then walked into
the gate.
Leia was confused and looked at Selena, then turned back to look at the young man who was only
fourteen or fifteen years old, following them. "Madam Selena, is he going to see Miss Hattie?"
Selena's voice was very soft, and upon closer listen, it was also icy. "Perhaps only he can make Hattie
wake up."
Leia's eyes widened suddenly as she stared at the young man with a vaguely familiar look. Suddenly,
she seemed to have thought of something and her eyes widened to the extreme. "Madam Selena, he
is..."
Looking at Selena's cold profile, the rest of the words were stuck in her throat.
Leia was shocked. She couldn't imagine that the two sinners from the Riddle family could produce such
a son. Wasn't their child supposed to be like Kaitlyn? Moreover, considering the young man's identity, it
was already a good result that Selena didn't vent her anger on him. Why did she make an exception
and allow him to see Miss Hattie?
There were too many things that Leia couldn't understand, but she always listened to Selena. Since
Selena agreed to let the young man see Hattie, they wouldn't let her down.
Ten minutes later, Ache walked into Hattie's room. There was no doctor or nurse taking care of her. The
doctor looked at the closed room with concern. "Madam Selena, if we mess up, Miss Hattie's condition
will become even worse."
Selena sat on the sofa, casually opened a book and stared at it intently for a long time without
speaking.
Just when the doctor thought Selena wouldn't answer, she suddenly heard a sentence as if in a trance,
"He won't hurt her."
It takes one to solve the problem.
There may be a glimmer of hope for Hattie's mental illness, which she had given up on treating.
At nine o'clock, Osvaldo returned to the villa. Selena was watching "Breaking Ground" on the sofa.
When she saw the man walk in, she smiled sweetly.
Osvaldo walked over, hugged his wife and kissed her eyes, "Are you unhappy?"
Selena shook her head and said with a smile, "Watch TV with me."
Osvaldo stared at her beautiful face with a heavy gaze for a moment, confirmed something, and held
her tighter.
He accompanied Selena to watch two episodes of the TV drama, then hugged her upstairs to sleep.
The next morning, when the doctor pushed open the door to see Hattie, he found that the boy from last
night had already left.
Hattie, who was lying on the bed, had much better complexion.
The doctor breathed a sigh of relief.
Sure enough, at noon, Hattie finally woke up from her coma.
Selena went in to see her.
When the little girl saw Selena, a smile appeared on her pale face. "Selena, I dreamed of my mother
last night." No longer a bloody mother. But her favorite, most familiar, gentle and beautiful mother.
Selena sat down by the bed and reached out to touch her hair. She gently asked, "What did your
mother say to you, Hattie?"
Hattie smiled at her, "Mom said not to be afraid, she will always be with me and protect me..." Selena
gently hugged Hattie and patted her thin back. "So you need to live well and be happy, because
Hattie's mother will always be with you, protecting you."
"My mother hopes that I can live well and happily." Hattie sniffled and looked up at Selena, her voice a
little hoarse, "Selena, I'm going back to the Riddle family."
To speak the truth.
Find evidence.
Avenge her mother.
Selena's face showed no surprise, and she stood up, "I'll call Leon. After you have eaten and rested, I'll
have him come and pick you up."
