Chapter 17 marks the end of Act 1 of Ballad of the Bladesong.

This is a true passion project for me, written in and around my job as an attorney. I have been looking for a certain kind of book for so long that I eventually decided to write it myself. I have no illusions of grandeur, or plans to become a millionaire off of my writing. I intend only to tell stories that captivate me, and to maintain a hope that my skill is sufficient to properly portray the characters and emotions as I imagine them.

With that said, I will be keeping to a release schedule. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, a new chapter will be released. I will most likely be releasing more than that early on.

I'm a shitty planner, and now I'm going to be releasing when I can. The writing has become considerably harder after I made a choice, but that just means the end product will be better (hopefully). Chapters will be released every few days, although I can't promise a less vague release schedule at this point.
