So, in the past couple of days I've been posting slightly revised chapters from my files and I'd just like to let you know that I'm going to be scheduling all of the going forwards chapters starting right now. The other major change that I'm going to be making, going forward is that I'm changing up the magic system. This means that I'm going to have to go back and edit but it's not big changes. The first change is that, now, progression is more akin to walking up a slowly steepening hill than it is like climbing up a series of larger and larger steps. It means that progression is smoother, with no massive, sudden jumps in power (though things like Sammath suddenly adding pieces to his Concept will still have massive repercussions, like at the end of the first arc) and I feel like that works better with my system but it does mean that I'm going to have to go back and change up some scenes.
The second thing that I'm changing is that I'm no longer limiting the power of Enchanting to just the Shinians. This was something that I struggled with at the very start of building up the magic system in this story and, after reading Mage Errant, I feel like it would work so much better if I just freed up the system to allow everybody to use it. Now, that does mean the Shinians just lost access to their magic so I need to replace is and I'm doing so with what I feel is a system that is different enough that it isn't the exact same as Enchanting but similar enough that Ashe's power remains effectively untouched. Shinians aren't going to be Enchanters, anymore. They're going to be Artisans.

Effectively, how this power works is that there's a number of different types of Artisans with different artistic focusses. The most common types of Artisans are Carvers and Sculptors, who either remove material from something or add it to slowly build magical things up. This keeps with the worldwide knowledge that they generally need to prepare for battles and synergises well with Enchanting. There are also a couple of other Artisans, though, such as Painters, Writers, and Performers. Ashe is a Writer, someone that brings words to life, but his power has been corrupted by Cab so it doesn't quite work the same way. Instead of the words coming to life and forming a weapons, armour, summons, elemental effects, or whatever it is that the Writer decides to create, Ashe's power directly invokes the Words he Writes (so his power remains the same).
Now, Enchanting is different in that it applies an effect directly onto whatever it has Enchanted and channelled through. Enchanting doesn't just summon fire, earth, or water like Ashe can.
Anyway, I'm going to go and schedule those chapters now and maybe start working on backtracking to add Enchanting to every other power, though it might be a little while before you actually see any of those changes come into effect.
