Chapter 2
Satsui's body was unable to produce fire. That wouldn’t be a problem, as he could train in other elements. Only, he was born into the Vermilion Clan. The People in the Taifu Planes respected them for their skill in controlling fire. Satsui couldn’t even summon fire using simple spells.
The bane of the Vermilion Clan.
”But why am i getting married?”
He knew little about the woman he was being married to.
She had a rare body type in the Taifu Planes which allowed her to get twice the results of a normal practitioner. Such bodies exist?
This body appears once every hundred years, and sometimes you may be lucky to find a second one in same century. This rare body was something that even the Great Clans lust for, because that person is guaranteed to become an expert due to their ‘talent’.
Once that person finally trains their soul and becomes a deity they would have an incredible expert to back them up once they’re in need.
This was a win-win situation, for both the Clan and the woman in question. Only why would they marry ‘gem’ to the old me?
With my abilities in the picture, I could be considered lower than servants.
”A marriage?”
”Perhaps I’m overthinking it?”
He was trying to think of all the different possibilities for this marriage. The event was public, with many clans attending. If the woman in question is a beauty, if they try to make me fight for her the Vermilion clan will lose face, and consequences would unavoidable.
…….
“Lords and Ladies, I am here to announce some news. Originally, the plan was for Xiang Shu,to be married to Zhuque Satsui, but this is no longer happening. Such talent should not be wasted. Instead, she will be marrying the son of an Elder named Zhuque Feng. This marriage will be commencing in three months. The Vermilion clan hopes you can attend.” breathing in he waited till he wanted to speak.
A few scowled at the attitude this man. Dissolving a marriage on the very day it’s happening?. They knew the man talking was Zhuque Li, the master of the Vermilion Clan. They also understood that Zhuque Satsui was an individual who was talentless in fire.
“The reason we are doing this, is because as many of you know, Satsui is a Zhuque, unable to use Fire magic. For this reason, we are announcing his that his status as a member of the Zhuque Clan will be stripped. The clan will no longer shelter him.” Zhuque Li glanced at everyone before continuing.
“His living quarters will be funded by the family, and he will have the ability to go to a public school. We will also fund that. This is all.”
They thought about the Master of the Vermilion Clan, and what he had just did. Not only did he directly stop Satsui’s wedding, the clan disowned him? On the same day at that!
In less than a day of being transported to this new plane, he had learned that he was talentless in magic and getting married... The current situation however just made him become clanless. School was being funded due to the humilliation he just suffered with no backing, he would be bullied....
Year 1308, June 30th. From now on Satsui’s life becomes a living hell.
………………
Year 1308, December 30th. (Halfway through his second school year)
*SLAM* He hit the wall hard. This was the daily routine, which he had gotten used to. His only salvation was a girl called Li Hui, who would save him occasionally. His life was to be beat around by a few hooligans who were weak anyway. If she came, it would end for the day. If not? He’d just endure.
The girl, “Li Hui” however was an aberrant. Her intellect compared to other students and the school had allowed her to skip two years worth, but she’d still stay in school until all six years were up. She was an unrivaled Genius and the school had pride in.
Only, she lowered herself to helping Satsui. He had learned when taking the second year test that his aptitude to understand the four elements were all low and hers were exceptional. If he wanted to learn magic, then his best choice would be support magic. The support path rarely picked, so the school had no tutors for it out of a thousand students. There were perhaps one or two students every few years choosing support. If you wanted to support, your lessons would be spent in the library.
“Support Master incant-” Satsui was murmuring before being interrupted. A red haired boy had appeared in front of him as if it was the norm.
“Duel me!” He had a smile on his face as if he didn’t know who Satsui was. However, he knew that this person had been in the library every day, reading support spellbooks. He had to be Satsui.
“I’m not strong, so please go away.” he spoke lightly, and turning around he tried to leave.
“Duel me.” the previous smile had turned into a sneer. He was completely underestimating him for training in support.

“Lets get it over then.” Satsui was slightly angry, but he had been wanting to test out something for a while.
Dueling, was permitted as long as the two students agree to it. There were arenas for that. Murder was not permitted, matches could be stopped by the teachers though, and the conclusion would be that the person with an advantage would win.
…….
They both stepped into the arena, with a large crowd surrounding them...
“Oi, isn’t that Byuk Shi?”
“That Byuk Shi, who nearly killed the third grader?”
“Look who he’s against! It’s the failure! Haha, he’s going to die!”
Satsui had no chance. That was everyone's thought. After all, his opponent was a ruthless troublemaker.
Only Satsui had other problems.
“BEGIN!” A teacher shouted.
He casted “Blessing of the Wind” to raise his speed - It’s a simple Novice support spell and it wouldn’t last very long. However, it would definitely help dominate the opponent using speed. Coupled with daily training, his speed was fast without it anyway. The enemy however had made his move too, with a smug smile appearing on his face. If he had raised his arm at that moment in time, some people would have seen the thin layer of water which was flowing directly into his hand, creating a sword that solidified in less than a second. When he was in the vicinity of the sword he immediately dodged to the left, and raised a kick to Byuk Shi’s face. It solidly connected and a crack could be heard. Byuk Shi however wasn’t standing, and had been forced back a meter or two. His nose was bleeding and his shirt was wet from the sword breaking. No-one had expected this.
Satsui was rather proud of himself, and when it was silent he finally started to say, “I’m no failure.” he never finished though. When he felt like he had been hit by a truck his body went flying. In a hurry he ended up coughing up blood onto his hands trying to stand up. A few sniggered at this.
Rage.
He wanted to do the same to Byuk Shi. Ambush him when he wasn’t looking. His body wouldn’t acknowledge his attempts at moving though, and the same pain that he felt when first coming to this world.
When the pain subsided, he realised that he was groveling in front of Byuk Shi. When he could feel the strange pain his body refused to listen to him. But now that it was gone, it was a different situation. He raised his head, getting ready to attack Byuk Shi.
*CRUNCH*
His head was immediately forced onto the hard floor.
“What are you doing?” he sniggered at him. He was adding more force whenever Satsui tried to get up.
In this situation with his head working like no other, he could only think about possible spells to get out of the situation. He had already memorised the Basic, Intermediate and Advanced spells, and with that he could easily get out of this situation. The only problem is the second and third choice would put too much strain on his body. The Intermediate spells in the library mainly focused on body strengthening and protection. Choosing an advanced spell for speed or strength would be incredibly reckless, but it was his only choice. He wouldn’t let Byuk get off easy, not after sneak attacking and forcing him into this position.
He immediately started to prepare to cast the Advanced spells “Supersonic” and “Giants Fury” Immediately after those were casted he pushed himself off the ground, and a hint of surprise appeared on Byuk Shi’s face who was getting ready to kick him and try to shatter his skull.
Byuk Shi couldn’t protect himself. He was immediately slammed to the floor once he had been catapulted into the air. This actually caused the arena to crack, and blood to fly everywhere.
“Stop the Fight!”
The teacher responsible for observing the fight had finally intervened, only a little too late. Byuk Shi was laying on the ground with blood pouring out of his ears, and a cracked skull.
The teacher however, didn’t need to issue the order to stop. Satsui was on the floor too, with his body having a broken arm, a broken leg, and numerous fractured bones. The remuneration for using spells which strain your body after all wouldn’t let you go unharmed. Usually it would result in broken bones, extreme pain for weeks, or even months. Using them for too long could even impact training speeds, and slow them by up to half, and the time to recover from that was incalculable. It could last days to decades.
With training on the line however, Satsui was already disadvantaged. It wouldn’t matter.
Yay, Chapter 2.
