Within the dimly lit room where only a single stray beam of light crept through the small gap in the parted window blinds, a chorus of clicks sang through the bedroom as a figure was sprawled on a mass of green kitsune tails with metalic silver ends. Lola lazily slumped further into her tails, retaining a hyper-fixated and partly soulless glare in her eyes as the blue light of the TV displaying a fighting game washed over her exhausted face.
(Lola is a slightly short teenaged female seraph kitsune[a humanoid with kitsune tails and ears, and can make their body translusant]; she has long scruffy green hair with metalically silver hair tips, golden eyes with five-pointed star pupils, pale white skin to the point it's faintly cyan, slightly toned thighs, five large scruffy kitsune tails which match the colour gradient of her hair, and kitsune ears which match her kitsune tails)
"... past the bedrock, but don't dig straight down... you'll...," Lola muttered poutfully. As she continued playing the fighting with a chibi anthro cat version of herself, Lola heard creeks echo from behind her as the normal sunlight swept into the room in time with the opening door. Lola meekly sighed before pausing the game and placing the controller on the hexagonal computer tower.
"Can I help you, Sylvie?" Lola asked as she rubbed and smushed her face. Although there was a small pause after Lola's question, Sylvie slowly slid her head through the gap in the door. She squinted her eyes, peering around the extremely minimalist bedroom until she spotted Lola's kitsune tails.
(Sylvie is a short young teenaged female spirit-bound kitsune alkorian [a humanoid with kitsune tails and ears, and horns on the side of their heads]; she has super long curly blonde hair with the nebula-coloured-sky end and the nebula-coloured part is bundled together into the shape of a large hand the size of her, pupilless nebula-coloured-sky eyes, lightly tanned skin, golden kitsune ear-shaped alkorian horns on the top of the sides of her head, and five transparent golden mana kitsune tails floating behind her)
(Sylvie is wearing an oversized open grey hoddie made of squares which match the colours on a Rubik's cube, a muted yellow t-shirt with the lower half of it cut off, and black leggings with three muted yellow rings around their ankles, and gold getas)
"Kara said the princess is going to return soon," Sylvie uttered. Taking in Sylvie's answer, Lola slowly turned her head and handed Sylvie an unamused stare.
"And why does it concern me?" Lola asked. Sylvie puffed up her cheeks and pouted as she watched Lola continue playing the game. She childishly flailed her arms around before she remembered something she forgot to tell Lola.
"Oh yeah, Kusana said if you did it then Big Bro Yokuz-". Lola sprung to her feet in silence, vaguely startling Sylvie and making her stop talking. Lola unfurled her kitsune tails and retracted them into her body, revealing her clothes underneath.
(Lola is wearing an open black fur hoodie, a lime Candy Catz-themed crop top, leggings [left leg is black with white stripes, and right leg is white with black stripes], green getas, and a trailing silver-grey fur scarf with a pale cyan end)
"Can you finish the boss rush for me?" Lola requested, strolling past Sylvie and leaving her bedroom. After closing the door, a wicked ear-to-ear formed on Sylvie's face before she fell onto all fours and scuttled to the gaming console. She napped the controller above the console and nestled her face against it.
"Finally I get to play a video game after so long... he-heh," Sylvie said gleefully with heavy enthralled breaths escaping her wobbly lips.
"It's only been fifteen minutes," a Hika said through the controller's speaker. Sylvie froze, taking on the appearance of a stone statue from pure shock before falling forward and faceplanting on the floor.
Lola marched through the simplistically detailed hallway with the view of the calm lake filling the long window. As she turned a corner, Lola exited the hallway and walked onto the deck of the mini yacht with a strong breeze blowing through her scarf and the sun beaming down on the boat. A loud clack drew Lola's attention. Following the clacking sounds, Lola found Kara, Destiny, and Kusana huddled around a shattered curling disc.
"I think you hit the disc too hard, Destiny," Kara stated as she was seated on Destiny's lap with her head buried in Destiny's chest wool. Destiny puffed up her cheeks and poutfully pouted while complaining the disc was too brittle.
(Destiny is a super tall teenaged female acolyte wu-ling [a humanoid with wool-like hair, sheep tails and ears, and magic particles coming from their hair]; she has snow-white sheep wool/woolly hair with bright magic particles, flowing rainbow eyes with five-pointed star iris', pale white skin, sheep ears and tail, and two plump/poofy mounds of snow-white wool on her chest)
(Destiny is wearing an oversized white fur hoodie covered in muted lavender rings on its arms and lower half, a black fur scarf with flame-shaped metal dots all over it, a lavender tank top, slightly ripped black jeans, and muted lavender running shoes)
(Kara is an extremely short kid-looking female half-angel/half-mothion [a humanoid covered in fur with four large fuzzy moth wings, and other moth featres]; she has ankle-long pale lavender hair, deep Lavender eyes with a red open book-shaped right iris and two small deep lavender compound eyes under her human eyes, super pale skin, four large twenty feet long fuzzy lavender moth wings, has pale lavender fur[on her entire arms, her shoulder blades, hip section, and entirety of legs] and fuzzy black insect antennas)
(Kara is wearing purple metalic bracelets on her wrists and ankles with muted lavender rings on them, and a black frilly dress)
"It's not my fault, how was I supposed to know my strength would increase so much?" Destiny whimpered before putting her arms around Kara in a bear hug. Destiny tightly embraced Kara, her mind engrossed in how mad Lola would be about the broken disc. While still being hugged, Kara remained motionless as her already pale complexion grew to a sicklier shade of blue before frantically slapping her trapped hands against Destiny.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
"T-Tinie, I'm dying... here," Kara uttered through strained breaths. Kara's words snapped Destiny back to reality and she instantly released Kara from her grasp, allowing Kara to slump forward as her soul seeped out of her body.
"Wow, you managed to make Gir... wait, I mean. You managed to make Kara refer to herself in the first person," Kusana remarked as she sat mid-air with her legs crossed, blushing slightly and brushed her hair from her verbal blunder.
(Kusana is a slightly short kid-looking female seraph elf [a humanoid with super pointy ears and glowing skin]; she has spikey ankle-low glowing super pale cyan hair, uses two white scrunchies to bunch the ends of her hair around the back of her neck together, glowing pale teal eyes with large pupils and slightly glowing white scleras, slightly glowing tanned skin, and super pointy elf ears)
(Kusana is wearing an oversized light mana [white wavey energy] hoodie with a fur-like appearance, shadow mana [black wavey energy] t-shirt, and silver thigh-high leggings)
"Seems your weird naming habit is still a thing, Kusana," Lola remarked, sauntering her way up to the trio. Destiny turned pale. A single drop of sweat ran down her face as all the wool and hair on her body puffed up from the newfound chill crawling up her spine.
"You say that like I'm incapable of stopping it, Daughte- Cou...", Kusana stated. Her face began contorting and deepened into a rouge hue, resembling the face of someone after eating an entire bag of lemons. With her bright red face, Kusana flexed her eyes in frustration before blipping away in a small flash of teal/lime light. Not feeling like looking for Kusana, Lola turned her head towards Destiny.
"I... really?" Lola grumbled at seeing the state of the two beside her. Lola silently stared down at Destiny and Kara, discontent accompanying her sigh as she slumped her shoulders. Lola itched the inside of her ears, drooping them, and swayed her body from side to side in rhythm with her sighing.
Suddenly, a jolt of energy shot through Lola's mind. Lola freed her ears from further itching before her ears disappeared into a green cloud. She glanced towards the lake uttering a deep groan of anger as she sensed a familiarly antagonizing presence rasing towards the yacht from within the lake.
Leaning against the yacht's railing, Lola tracked the growing shadow forming beside the yacht, casting it a callous scowl. Bubbles broke out from the lake's surface, making Lola microscopically flinch with every pop as her kitsune ears reappeared. The onslaught of popping bubbles continued to ring in Lola's ears, adding to her building agitation.
"Will you cut it out with the high-pitched noises!" Lola blurted out as she wildly swung her fists up and slammed them against the railing, denting it in the process. A condescending telepathic snicker chimed through Lola's mind, sending a chill down her spine before the bubbles stopped. The shadow in the lake went still before a person in a completely metal pure-black diving suit erupted from the lake, blasting a geyser of water into the air as the diver landed on the yacht.
"My apologies, I had to deal with the monsters from the ancient colossal as they didn't take too kindly to my... sticky fingers," Kimmi-Ka uttered, her voice massively muffled by her obnoxious bloated diving suit. Lola scoffed and rolled her eyes with unamused flair.
"Compulsive spelunker, is more fitting for you, Kimmi-Ka," Lola commented with a snarky tone. Kimmi-Ka couldn't help but smugly snicker, jostling her body as she did and making the treasure in her diving suit jingle.
"Well, the team members tend to mirror the leader so who's really at fault here?" Kimmi-Ka asked rhetorically as her diving suit began to wobble and liquify. The diving suit morphed, receding and sliding up Kimmi-Ka's body before condensing and forming into Kyuubi on top of Kimmi-Ka's head. Kimmi-Ka hair faintly rustled, drawing Kyubi's attention down to it. Kimmi-Ka's horns sprouted out on each side of her head and pierced through Kyubi's gelatin legs as Kimmi-Ka's tails also emerged from her body.
(Kimmi-Ka is a slightly tall teenaged female humanoid hybrid [wu-ling, miruku{usually a small humanoid with the appearance of a child with dark grey skin and multiple plated tendrils protruding from their head}/kitsune, acolyte{humanoids with glowing body parts}/alkorian{humanoids with horns which can be of various shape and sizes}]; she has long woolly hair [a snow white left side, a blonde right side, and all with lime tips], pure golden right eye with a pink/lime gradient pupils, a glistening deep blue left eye with concentric white stars, nine large and long[triple her height] blonde to snow white gradient fluffy fur-miruku tendril tails with lime tips, glowing fingers, slightly firm hips, and slightly curved upwards glowing ram-like horns on the sides of her head)
(Kimmi-Ka is wearing a golden thread jumpsuit, a super long fuzzy white scarf with a scale texture covered in golden and red poker dots, and a lab coat with three muted golden rings around its sleeves)
(Kyubi is an abyssal slimeling[humanoids made of pitch-black slime] with the appearance of a four-year-old girl; she has short scruffy pure black gelatin hair with glowing white dots all over it, black eyes with the usually white part being grey, pale skin with gelatin sections[pitch-black with glowing white dots gelatin forearms, hands, legs and feet], and a long pitch-black gelatin snake tail)
(Kyubi is wearing a golden threaded short dress and puffy grey shorts)
"Did I get impaled?" Kyubi muttered. Kyubi blankly stared in the vague direction of the spots where she got impaled, lightly patting her legs. She eventually located the tips of Kimmi-Ka's horns poking out the top of her legs. Lola rubbed her forehead, followed by her giving Kimmi-Ka a side-eye.
"Just ensure there's a week buffer before your next-" Lola stated before Kyubi burped up a gold coin which flew through the air and booped Lola on the forehead. Lola slowly inhaled, her breath heavy as the fur on her ears spiked up; however, the second Kyubi cheekily giggled, Lola lost her breath and deflated like a balloon as she weakly leaned against the yacht's railing.
"Why are all of you so weird?" Lola grumbled. Kimmi-Ka rested a hand on her cheek and swayed her eyes from side to side before nodding to herself. Kimmi-Ka wrapped her tails around the unconscious Destiny and Kara and hoisted them off the ground.
"Are you implying you're not?" Kimmi-Ka asked cheekily. Lola briefly puffed up her cheeks before placing her head against the railing as her last remaining anger fizzled away and was replaced with defeated contempt.
"Just... don't trouble Yozu with any of your torture methods when he shows up," Lola mumbled defeatedly. Kimmi-Ka gradually narrowed her eyes into a scowl but didn't utter a word before leaving with the unconscious duo in tow. Hearing Kimmi-Ka walk off, Lola slumped her kitsune ears to the side as the sinking in her chest bubbled to the surface, leaving her to meekly groan and bury her face in her scarf for comfort. Lola parted one of her eyes from her scarf and gazed upon the mountain-tall, half-submerged metal humanoid protruding from the lake far off in the distance.
