Chapter 7 - The Might of a True Demon

Chapter 7 - The Might of a True Demon

Sasha and the grey-skinned boy felt the wrath and viciousness radiate off of Amon, pervading the air with bloodlust and crushing pressure.

Nox, the man who took Amon on his tour on the day before appeared out of nowhere and made a hand seal sealing off the stage so the pressure wouldn't affect anyone standing near it. Nox smiled with fanatic glee. "I've finally found you, my Lord!" Nox whispered as he looked at Amon with excitement and fervor which was unusual for his usually calm eyes.

"My name is Arak, what is your name?" the grey-skinned boy, Arak spoke in his gravelly voice. Amon replied as he walked forward "Amon." his voice rumbled with a primal fury, his pride had been questioned and everything in him, Demon, Draconic, and Human, was furious.

Seeing Amon walking, Arak walked forward as well. When these two giant men walked forward, it was like two gigantic beasts were walking and about to meet in battle. Despite Nox's barrier, an oppressive pressure still pushed down on everyone surrounding the stage.

Amon picked up his speed and entered a run, Arak did the same and they kept speeding up and before people knew it they were sprinting at each other.

And as they collided, a massive boom went off, like some kind of thunderclap.

They'd both tried to ram into each other, like two bulls locking horns, furiously trying to overpower the other. Amon and Arak were simply punching into other like neither of them felt any pain.

Amon threw a fast right hook in Arak's jaw, as Arak planted his fist into Amon's stomach. Both of them stepped back, Arak with a slightly pale face and Amon with a feral smile spread across his face. "Come on! AGAIN!" Amon's voice boomed as he charged again.

Punches were thrown into each other's bodies again. Stomach, chest, neck and everywhere on each other's faces, they were all punched many times over, neither of them attempted to dodge either. It was like whoever dodged first would lose.

Everyone looked at the fight in shock as they felt the ground and air shake as each fist landed or collided with another fist. It felt as if the air and ground were shaking in terror, and everyone watching the fight couldn't help but shiver in fear themselves. These two people weren't humans, they were beasts of the most monstrous kind!

Lilith looked at Amon getting hit with worry painted across her face before she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry, Lilith. All possessors of the Dragon physique are tough enough to take at least this amount of beating. Their self-healing abilities are nearly as good as the Phoenix possessors and Phoenixes are renowned for their healing abilities. He'll be fine." Lilith turned to see Julia smiling gently as she looked at her. Lilith nodded, she knew Amon was okay, seeing as he had a big smile on his face. She just didn't like watching Amon get hurt.

Looking at that smile, Lilith couldn't help but blush. If anyone saw her blushing and knew it was over Amon's smile, they would be shocked solid.

Amon's smile looked like a beast's bloody maw at the minute, giving off tons and tons of bloodlust and ferocious pressure. He seemed to be getting more and more lively as the fight went on, his wounds were even starting to heal visibly.

His reptilian eyes were shining with more and more battle intent as more and more blows of his were landing on Arak sending him sprawling backward.

"What kind of monster are you?!" Arak looked at Amon with pure fear in his eyes. No matter where he hit Amon, it seemed like it had no effect and he came back at him with more fervor. Arak had prided himself on his brute strength and durability but compared to Amon, he felt like he wasn't much.

By now, Arak had sustained quite a few injuries, including a few fractured ribs and many cuts from Amon's claws that were now fully extended.

"Hahaha! How fun!" Amon roared into the sky with excitement dripping from his voice. His red eyes bore holes into Arak's as his now, slightly twisted voice spoke out "Come on, Arak, push me further! Make me fight harder!" after saying this, Amon's shoulder collided with Arak's, both of them pushing the other.

After getting nowhere, Arak and Amon hands collided, pushing against the other in some kind of pushing war. Cracks spread out from each of their feet, the ground was pushed away as they both dug their feet in.

Amon felt his muscles burning under the pressure, his bones creaking under his opponent's strength and his blood violently rushing around his body and he realized; He'd never felt so alive in his life.

Arak secretly suppressed a smile. He had the advantage because while he was slow, that was because he was incredibly steady, while Amon was also incredibly steady it wasn't one of his racial abilities like Araks. Slowly but surely, Arak started pushing Amon backward through the arena, leaving tracts of where Amon's feet had been dug into.

Amon roared as if he'd completely lost himself, as he furiously pushed his feet against the floor trying to stop Arak's advance.

'Come on! PUSH! I can't lose to this weakling! I won't lose to this weakling! I.WILL.NOT.LOSE!'

This was all there was that was flowing and rushing around in Amon's head as his eyes grew more and more manic. Amon stuck his tail into the ground as extra leverage as claws slid out of his suit from his toes, one claw even came out of the back of his heel. Each of these claws was different than the ones on his hands, they were more like thick talons of a bird of prey, or...A Dragon.

With his new leverage, Amon stopped being pushed back. "Arak. I'm going to destroy you." Amon's voice sounded like it came from the devil himself and his eyes looked ruthless, cold and manic. He slowly started pushing Arak back, showcasing his superior brute strength.

The only reason he was losing earlier was that he didn't have the traction to fully unleash his powers but now his new talon-like claws were digging into the ground. Well, Arak didn't stand a chance.

After pushing him to near where the arena ended, Amon released Arak's hands before he grabbed the other by the neck and lifted him up.

Arak knew he'd been stupid to think he could match a monster like this in physical strength as he tried to pry the clawed hand off of his neck. Unluckily for him, Amon's grip was incredibly tight, like a metal vice.

Amon's mouth curled into a demonic smile full of malice, as he repeatedly slammed his free fist into Arak's stomach. Arak started grunting after the 3rd fist, by the 8th he was screaming in pain and at the 16th he was begging to be let go. Amon let him fall to the floor as he grew bored hitting such weak opponent. Whether Amon purposely dropped Arak into a kneeling position, only he knew, but everyone thought that it suited the situation.

Amon had already healed all his injuries from the previous brawl, so he looked untouched and gave off the imperious aura of a king, while Arak looked like some kind of beggar with blood flowing out of most of his facial offices.

Amon rested his foot on Arak's shoulder before kicking him off of the arena stage, like he was trash.

Amon stood there with a simple smile on his face but to everyone around him, that smile was the smile of a peerless Demon and they all froze in fear. Amon chuckled to himself as he looked at the pleasantly surprised Sasha. "Hey, Sasha, nobody seems to be coming up here to fight me. What should I do?" Amon's voice returned to it's normal deep and husky sounding, unlike his excitement filled roars earlier, as he asked Sasha a question.

"Hehe! Well, seeing as no one wishes to challenge you, you've passed with flying colors and you will be submitted to the SS training class. Congratulations!" Sasha laughingly said with her voice full of mirth. Nox nodded with pride as he heard and saw the results of his so-called Lord fighting.

Amon stepped off of the arena and walked back over to Julia, Lilith, and Michael. As he walked there, the crowd split aside to make a path for him, in fear he'd get angry if they were in his way.

Amon had a smirk on his face as he continued to walk.

He felt that it was good to make an impression like this, saves him all the trouble of swatting pests who bother him later.
