Cracking a single eye open, Amon could see multiple people surrounding him. Growling, Amon quickly sat up as a burst of pain ran along his arm and chest.
Looking down, sure enough, there was a massive cut going across his gauntlets, the force of the blow having thoroughly shook the bones in his arms but the place that didn't have armor - his chest - had a hole in it and blood was pouring out.
Letting out a short laugh, Amon summoned some of his Magic Power and pushed it into the wound. To the surprise of everyone watching, the blood pouring out of his wound soon stopped before the flesh started to wiggle and grow at a rate visible to the naked eye.
Standing up, Amon suppressed the feelings of pain from the inside of his body, wondering why that blow seemed to hurt him so much but after some thinking he came to a conclusion, 'It was that Holy Aura around his spear...it seems if the Holy Aura of something is strong enough, it hurts my Demon side incredibly so,' letting out a grunt of annoyance and instead looked around.
He was surrounded by Classers and Ability Users who had barely veiled fear in their eyes but he ignored them and instead looked over to where he and Jax had fought.
'*Whistle* Damn...we hit each other pretty hard...' just as that thought came into his head, Amon quickly raised his still-armored hand and caught a sword swing mid-air before it touched him. Knowing who the sword owner was, Amon put on a teasing but arrogant smile before playfully speaking, "Now now, Molly, is that any way to treat a friend~?" his jovial sounding voice seemed to frustrate the sword-wielder or Jax's girlfriend and Amon's childhood friend, Molly.
Her royal blue eyes glared down at Amon before they finally softened into a half-assed glare, "You do know Jax is pretty hurt, right? Us Classers don't have the Healing Factors you Bloodline Warriors have...Why were you and Jax fighting?"
Hearing her question, Amon instantly thought back to Jax walking in on him and Lilith kissing and felt a barely repressible piece of rage flow through him in indignation, 'He's the one who barged in on us, Molly! But I can't say that can I? It'll embarrass Lilith and she'll be annoyed with me...Arghhhh!' letting out a mental roar of annoyance, Amon just shrugged his shoulders at Molly, "We wanted to test each other's strength out and it seems we went a little too far."
Molly's eyes twitched at the 'little too far' bit but she suppressed her anger when she saw the underlying worry in Amon's eyes. Which it was.
Amon may seem like he doesn't care but he was currently using his senses to look for where they'd taken Jax. It seemed Sasha and Mr. Karl had taken him back to his dorm as he could smell their three scents all clumped together there. But while Amon was quite worried for Jax, he didn't feel sorry for what he did; a fight is a fight and whatever happens, is the fighters own responsibility.
Shrugging off his worry, the feeling like an insult to his friend in his demonic opinion, he recalled his Gauntlets before heading to the Cabin, wading through the people surrounding him and looking at him as if he were a beast.
Once he got to the Cabin and entered, he saw Michael sleepily looking around, seemingly for him, because as soon as Michael saw him he rushed over to him and went to whisper something. However, before he could, a loud voice boomed from across the room, "AMON! WHY DID YOU START A FIGHT?!" his mother came charging over like a woman possessed and Amon knew he was going to get it.
As much as his demonic and draconic instincts screamed for him to retort and refute his mother, he just stood still knowing talking back was never the answer to calming an angry woman.
. . .
Amon was now sitting on his bed in his cabin. The warmth was there and he couldn't help but think back to him and Lilith kissing on this bed how many minutes ago; it was quite...distracting.
To take his mind away from those thoughts, Amon sat up straight and crossed his legs before setting into Cultivation.
Feeling the next gate, the 5th Gate, the Gate of Ascending, Amon could feel that the Gate was surprisingly loose but he figured he'd pushed his Magic Power to the maximum during his 'spar' with Jax, so it wasn't completely unfounded that the Gate was weakened by him pushing his limits. Amon thought it best that he strike while the iron is hot, so he started up his breathing and sucked in the surrounding Magic Power, adding it to his own before surrounding the Gate in his brain.
Just like the gates in his hearts, Amon had to be careful when opening this gate otherwise he'd turn himself into an idiot if he didn't outright kill himself.
This Gate would allow his brain to work quicker. Despite the Upgrades he'd had previously by his Draconic Energy, his brain still wasn't living up to its full potential. Opening the Gate wouldn't turn him into a genius by any means, but it would refine the tools he already had at his disposal and allow him to use them to their maximum effectiveness. His Processing Speed and Learning Ability would improve by leaps and bounds as well.

Delicately grinding away at the Gate, Amon felt a dull pain in his head but pushed through such pain as it was normalcy with any Gate Opening, and just upped the pressure slightly. He knew he wouldn't be opening the Gate tonight but diligence hadn't hurt anyone, nor has hard work, so he just got what he could, done, before exiting his Cultivation state and lying down atop his massive bed.
Slowly, Amon fell asleep before finally, he was out cold.
. . .
Opening his eyes, Amon saw a certain blond-haired Hero standing over him with a smirk on his face. When he fully realized who it was, Amon slowly sat up before scowling at him, "Why're you smiling? Didn't I beat the shit out of you last night?" his voice was slightly annoyed at seeing Jax's slightly smug face, at least seeing it this soon after waking up; he was never a morning person.
Glancing at his chest, Amon was pleased but not surprised to see that his chest wound from Jax's final attack had fully healed. Though there was a slight scar there. Something told Amon the Holy Aura was what caused that and that the scar wouldn't be going away.
Not that Amon cared, in fact, the opposite rang true - Amon was glad he had physical evidence for their brawl. It was a map for their fight and a prelude to the fights that would come.
Still smiling, Jax slapped Amon on the shoulder, "We've been paired together; or more specifically the 5 Hero Classers have been paired with the 5 SS Rankers to do the training," Amon, hearing this, couldn't help a smile from spreading across his face, the earlier annoyance vanishing as if it was never there. In response to his excitement, Amon quickly stood up and rushed out of his bedroom and toward the bathroom, leaving Jax behind.
Amon quickly got undressed and threw himself in the shower which was a bit too small for him. After getting washed and paying extra attention to his horn which was much shinier for some reason, Amon got out, brushed his teeth before using his Magic Power to eject all the water off his skin. Once this was done, Amon put some underwear on and then some shorts before heading back to his room.
By the time he got back, Jax was gone, so Amon just got himself dressed. In the end, he wore exactly what he did before and just headed for the Dining Room seeing as he was incredibly hungry.
"Amon, you're finally here," turning to his right, Amon saw Sasha looking at him from the Kitchen and carrying a massive platter filled to the brim with food, "Hurry up and eat this so we can set off," she placed the platter down and Amon wasted no time digging in, barely even grunting in thanks for the food.
Sasha didn't mind, however, as she knew how Amon was; a bit rude at times. It was the way he was but he wasn't maliciously like this, it was just his pride and instincts affecting his actions.
Within record time, Amon had shoveled the entire platter of food into his mouth before wiping his mouth clean of grease and bits of food he didn't manage to devour. Once he did this, he got up and walked over to a slightly anxious-looking Sasha. Seeing her like this, Amon tilted his head to the side but decided to leave it; it wasn't his business nor did he care all that much. If it was something serious, he was sure he'd be notified soon enough.
Both Sasha and Amon walked out of the cabin and into the middle ground between all the Cabins. Waiting for them were Amon's fellow Bloodline Warriors and Jax, Molly, his mother, and the other two Hero Classers.
Mr. Karl was standing next to Jax with his chin in the air and Amon couldn't help but scoff at the man, 'Does he need to try and look so superior? The fact he's actively trying proves he feels inferior...Idiot,' Amon looked to Jax with pity as this idiot was the one who was teaching him. Weirdly enough, standing on the right side of Mr. Karl, on the opposite end of Jax and the other Heroes, was Mia, the brunette who seemed incredibly interested in Amon.
Amon was surprised as he was sure it would only be 5 of the Classers, but now it turned out to be 6? He turned his head to Jax and shot him a questioning look, only for the blond to shrug his shoulders with an 'I don't know' expression plastered over his face.
Lilith, just like yesterday, continued to glare at Mia but it seemed extra serious now; Amon smiled at her cute actions as their kiss last night must have sparked some possessive streak in Lilith. Mia, however, didn't pay any attention to the petite tanned-girl glaring at her, and instead absentmindedly looked around the camp while waiting for something.
Amon had a bad feeling that struck true because as soon as he entered the range of the others, Mia's head shot in his direction and her maroon eyes shined with a weird light.
Before anything could play out, however, Sasha walked toward Mr. Karl with a frown on her face, "I thought we agreed on you only bringing 5 of your students?" Mr. Karl gave Sasha a curt nod while looking up at the tall woman. His nod seemed to annoy Sasha as she grit her teeth before continuing, "So, why have you brought 6 students?"
Amon smirked at the building tension, knowing more fights were prone to happen if the two teachers were at odds with one another. The other Bloodline Warriors had the same thought process as Amon, especially Michael, and they did nothing to placate their teacher.
To the chagrin of the others, however, Mia walked over to Sasha and did a sight bow/curtsy before addressing her, "It was my persistent pestering that led to Mr. Karl bringing me. I just wished to train with the best, rather than the other weaklings that came with us. I will cause no problems, so please do not think that would be a problem," with her body still in a curtsy, everyone couldn't help but realize she gave off a real noble aura, Amon would even go as far as to say a majestic aura.
Sasha, hearing Mia could help but sigh before waving her hand at Mia and Mr. Karl in annoyance but otherwise showing them that they could do what they pleased. In the end, Sasha looked at the two of them before scowling, "Whatever, do what you want. But if you prove to be difficult for any reason, I'm knocking you out and dragging you behind us with a rope," she loomed over Mia, glaring down with intimidating eyes, "Got it?"
Mia just nodded her head before looking over at Amon and smiling which elicited a hiss from Lilith.
Amon sighed, he could already tell this was going to an annoying day. Though he did hold some hope for the training to be fruitful, exciting, or both.
