He was currently engrossed in his training in the dimly lit alleyway, He was focusing all his energy on summoning Mana, at first he could barely feel it but now he could feel it coursing through his veins. It also made him feel stronger and more agile, though strangely his power and agility stats didn’t go up.
At first he was simply trying to use the summon Mana ability to increase his ability to cast magic, sure he could only cast fog magic but it was better then no magic. He had gotten his spirit stat up to 5 and his soul stat up to 7, not only that his Mana was now at 9 as well. It soon became an addiction to him, like grinding for levels in a video game he wanted to keep going, he soon was interrupted by a blue window appearing in front of him.

Grinning at his new ability he began to concentrate as he made a thin line of blue Mana appeared as he focused on it. He then Began to make out a thin line out of blue Mana, as he did so he could feel it, while it couldn’t be seen he could feel it almost like another arm was made from the Mana, he tried to grab a can with it but it simply phased through it, was it only for training his Mana?
He then had a strange though as he activated his fog magic and began to focus on a Mana thread he created, the Mana thread soon became cloud like as if it was a small grey cloud, as he focused the fog line could move with the line, as he noticed it he then heard a pop up.

Create a line of fog, anything in the fog is harder to see. Can freely control the line of fog, costs 1 mana every minute.
His eyes widened, did he create an ability. Then did this mean he could create more? He then had another strange thought, he began to summon Mana as he channeled his fog magic. Soon his entire body became fog like. He looked at his hand as he couldn’t see his hand more like he was a fog in the shape of a rat.

Turn ones body into a fog like creature making it harder to see, This effect can last up to 10 Minutes.
So he was right, if he combined Mana and the fog magic he could make special abilities. He looked and saw he was nearly out of Mana, He would have to develop this further later, He decided to take a nap for now after eating from the dumpster again.
Later that day
He woke up later that day as he was about to begin practicing his Mana again when he heard two peoples foot steps, he hid behind the dumpster to be safe. He saw two girls come into the ally way with bags. The first girl had short, spiky black hair that was styled in a tomboyish fashion, she was dressed baggy clothes wearing a black studded belt and boots. He heard her name is Allysa from the other girl as they were talking.
The other girl had a striking blonde hair that fell in waves just below her waist, bright blue eyes, and a fair complexion. She had a light touch of makeup on, with a bit of pink lip gloss and a touch of mascara,she looked like a typical popular girl to him, he heard her name be called Sophia.
He noticed how the other animals seemed to greet Allysa and were very friendly with her. He noticed the food they had as the began to sit down and pet the animals Feeding them. The cat’s dogs, and even rats were being feed as he decided to get closer to these girls he was soon in front of them, the Sophia girl seemed to be worried not that he blamed her he was a rat, he was about to turn around when the other girl Allysa leaned down to pet him as she did so his consciousness was pulled out as it awoke in a Pitch black area as he was on a platform of some kind, around him it lit up like a night sky almost like he was in space as a golden message window appeared in front of him.

“Wait tied!” He though why was this happening, then he remembered his awakening ability he had purchased. If that was the cause couldn’t he cancel this ability, he didn’t wanna be tied to anyone. He preferred to have his freedom. He was pulled back into his body as the girl had stopped petting him, as she did he retreated to behind the dumpstar, he noticed she began to glow as he wanted nothing to do with this.
Could it be he could awaken people he touched, but he would be tied to them, hell no he wanted his freedom he thought as the other girl started calming her down while talking to someone on the phone. He kept her insight so he could avoid the girl if needed soon a man came dressed like an old school detective as he took her away he sighed in relief, as he turned around he saw a golden message appear.

Allysa was currently sitting in a waiting room, she was inside of a large building that seemed to have a lot of people in it though in the waiting area their wasn’t that many. She was nervous as he skin was still glowing brightly a sign that she is awakening. Beside her was a man named Mr. Wright to the left, who Sophia had called as she was on his right.
“Look kid, I know your scares okay, but don’t worry too much many people continue as normal after awakening after school.” Mr. Wright said as he was itching for a cigarette but wasn’t going to smoke in front of some kids. “Your life won’t be the same and sry this sh. . .,” He stopped himself and spoke again. “This stuff can be messy at first but just think of it as a new path opening up.”
“Thanks,” Allysa replied feeling a bit better, “So, what exactly is going to happen?”Allysa asked as Sophia spoke up.
“It’s not that bad. They just want you to hold a relic, when you grab it will tell you how to finish awakening.”
“Wait finish awakening?” Allysa asked confused.
“Yea, when someone awakens, the enter the state you are in now. This state is what decided your class, Like I am an Acolyte a common class.” Sophia said trying to remember everything from when she awakened a few days ago.
“What do you mean by a common class?”
“Well there are three different kinds of classes, the first is the common class these are the classes that many people awaken into, and then there are Evolved classes, they are classes that evolve from common classes to better suit the individual.” Mr. Wright responded.
“What about the third class?” Allysa asked looking at him.
“The third class is considered a Unique class, they are classes not yet discovered, when someone awakens a unique class its usually a big deal because they are the first of that class soon other people will awaken with that class but by being the first of that class it is considered a unique class.” Mr. Wright said doing his best to explain what a unique class is. “Though their hasn’t been a unique class in 20 years. Along with that you shouldn’t worry too much, unless you plan to be a hunter awakening school is only to help control your abilities.”
Hunters, them were the people who delved into dungeons to find relics. During the great cataclysm they saved everyone by killing off almost all the monster. They hunted down the strongest of monster and gave themselves the name hunters. Many people dreamed of being hunters but it was very high risk many young hunters lose their life in the first dungeon they enter.
Though if she became a hunter she wouldn’t have to worry about her siblings anymore. She could finally not worry about having other jobs but if she died what would happen to her siblings? A voice interrupted her thoughts.
“Miss Allysa Tanaka, please follow me,” A woman said appearing in the waiting area, she was dressed in a black jacked, white T-shirt with a red tie, and a black skirt. Many were dressed the same with men wearing black pants as she began to walk with the woman Sophia and Mr. Wright couldn’t go with her to the room as they walked Allysa looked around the hallways.
The building seemed somewhat empty their were a few other people but not nearly as many people as she thought. She saw many empty desk in rooms as if sensing her thoughts the woman spoke up. “Not many people come here so we are a bit understaffed, this is the first time so many people have awakened in this city within a month, usually only three to five people awaken a year yet we have had 5 different awakened in a month this is very strange to us. However, please rest assured we are professionals and you awakening should go smoothly.” The woman said as they came to a door.
As the door opened it was a blank room with white panels on the wall, ceiling, and floor as it was brightly lit. In the middle was a pedestal with a floating glowing orb that shined almost like a midnight sky. “All you have to do is place a hand on the orb and the relic will do the rest.”
Allysa took a deep breath and then nodded as she walked to the orb, she then reached out and touched the orb, as she did so a bright light appeared as the orb began to glow as it died down the orb was glowing golden as a window appeared almost like one from an rpg appeared as it had a golden frame.

The message disappeared as she heard a clipboard drop. The woman from before ran to the orb and began to touch it as she did it glowed blue then she looked at Allysa. “Miss Tanaka, what did the message tell you and what was the class.” The woman said suddenly her entire tone was very respectful.
“It said Beast tamer, and that I must find the other half.” Allysa said confused, “Why is something wrong?” Allysa asked as the woman seemed to take a deep breath to calm down.
“No this is good news please stay here, I need to go make a phone call.” She said as the woman moved to a backroom to make a phone call, thankfully she had 23 hours left. These process would be faster if it was an emergency and this made it one, the orb was suppose to glow blue for a common class, and evolved classes are classes you can not awaken into. When it becomes golden it is for a unique class . She needed to contact her superior.

In the parking lot was a black van, their were eight people in the back of the van many tall and muscles wearing all black as they had one balaclava, they each had an assualt rifle, The driver let out a breath as the man in the passenger seat turned around Unlike the others he didn’t have on Balaclava and was holding a pistol. He seemed to have golden blonde hair and blue eyes as he spoke.
“Alright, we all know the drill we need to hit them fast and get this over with.” He said as they nodded one person spoke up from the group.
“Won’t their be a lot of resistance inside.” He said as he took a deep breath, he couldn’t believe he was doing this.
“Not much It’s not a heavy time for them so their will be little resistance. It’s not like people awaken every day. No chickening out you hear me soldier.” The leader said as the man nodded.
