Human kingdom of Kalomnir
« My liege, a new land appeared out of nowhere! »
A man was kneeling in a throne room. In front of him, a woman was sitting with her husband at her left and her daughter at her right. She had a frown on her face as she listened to the messenger.
“When did you receive the information?”
The young man was trembling, if the queen was angered, it could be his end.
“Th-three months ago, my queen.”
She looked at the distance and frowned.
“You did well. You can go.”
The young man nodded and left. She turned to a guard and spoke.
“Call the naval commander.”
The guard bowed and, after a few minutes, a man in leather armor appeared. Even though the leather armor itself was considered cheap, he had it covered with gold, silver, and other expensive rocks. (PR: Best description of jewels/precious metals that I've seen in awhile.) As he entered the throne room, he bowed to the queen.
“My queen, did you call for me?”
“Yes. I heard a report of a land appearing out of nowhere. I want you to prepare an expedition to this land. We MUST be the first ones there. Am I clear?”
“Yes my queen.”
He stood up and bowed to her before leaving. As he finally left the throne room, he gave the order to prepare the expedition. If he did well, no doubt the queen would reward him… really well.
Elves kingdom of Starfilled.
“Is the report true?”
Twelves elves were talking.
“Yes, the land suddenly appeared out of nowhere.”
The elves began to chatter before one of them coughed.
“I believe it may be a chance; our lands are destroyed by the humans every day, we cannot push them back much longer.”
The other elves nodded at this.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
“I propose to begin our 'migration'; a land untouched by men can only be good for our people.”
They all nodded again and disappeared. Only two of them were now in the room.
One of the two had an eye patch, and his face was really scarred.
“Did we really have to bring the dark and blood elves with us?”
The other one had the face of an elder, and experience could be seen in his eyes.
“We are so few already… I do not wish to see us separate anymore. Every day, humans push us further back and destroy our forest. The nain kept their stance of neutrality while the demons fled the continent. It’s our last chance.”
The warrior nodded. What the elder said was true, humanity outnumbered them badly at twenty to one.
As the warrior left to prepare, the elder sat, clearly tired. He had tried to reason with humanity, to cooperate, but they kept on growing and their demands were getting bolder. The last straw was when they asked for slaves. The eles country closed their borders and no later than that, humanity declared them as hostile. Some humans tried to kidnap elves, but most of the time, they were killed without having time to do anything to their victims.
Such opportunity was a gift of god, and even though he know humans would try to establish themselves there too, if they moved fast, they would be able to push them off and make it their own land.
Many months after.

The elves were speechless. When they finally sailed to reach the island, they knew they would encounter the humans but they did not expect to see a whole armada. While they could fight off a few ships, they knew this much would sign their end. As they were preparing for their doom, three strange beings made of metal appeared from the island. They first hovered over the human ships before firing lasers, destroying every human ship on sight.
When they saw the floating golem come to them, they felt as if a god of death was watching them, but to their surprise, the being just stood there, observing them. After a while, it finally left.
The elven captain looked at his men and sighed. Whoever controlled those beings, if they were controlled, had something against humans.
“Sail forth, it seems that we are welcomed here.”
In a dark underground place
A woman was sleeping, next to her was a man, his face was rested and clinging to his left hand was a young boy. As she slept, a weak alarm woke her up. She opened her eyes and looked around. She had a look of surprise on her face but opened the panel. A video played, and she frowned at the sight, even if they somehow survived, they ended up in a reality where humans existed.
She pressed a few buttons, and after a while, a new video appeared. This time she raised an eyebrow. These species looked humanoid, but she detected a high level of energy coming from their body. In doubt, she pressed a few buttons and looked back at the man on the throne.
She did not expect to survive. This last protocol should have killed them, but here they were. She went to him and sat on his lap. She missed this skinship. All those years, as an AI, she wished for more than just being with him. She was with him since the beginning, and knew him better than himself. She even created a body to be able to be with him physically. Alas, the war kept her from achieving her dream. But now, things were different; no obligations, no people, nothing. Just her, Merlin and him.
She put her head on his neck and smirked.
