I have just started publishing a new Athanor story on Royal Road. This is a follow on, not a sequel. The title is Wolves of Athanor.

Athanor was planned from the start to be 70 chapters long, and while it was nice to have a definite structure, it also meant having to pack everything in to that space. I am planning much more loosely for Wolves -- I have ideas for some very very big arcs, and the first big arc within that is planned out, but I could (in theory) keep writing forever.

Also, for Athanor I got two chapters out per week, which was doable (lockdown helped) but intense. I'd like to combine writing on a long-term project with enjoying life, pursuing other hobbies, and even other writing projects. So Wolves will be one chapter per week. Hopefully consistently, but if something needs to break, it won't be me.
