It was nearly midnight when I was finally done with studying. I closed my blue notebook and put it on the shelf with my other math related books. Neatly sorting everything and making it easily accessible is key to keeping up the momentum when studying, that might be the only useful thing that Tamaki has taught me.
Whenever he comes to mind I feel my mood dropping and my aggression rising. I went to the bathroom and let my frustration out on my toothbrush.
Shortly after, I went back to my bedroom, laid down on my bed and let my thoughts run free. It was as if I hopped onto a train in my mind, letting it go at top speed through different stations, but this train is a limited express, it rarely stops at any station of thought it passes. I found myself storming through all kinds of thoughts but the moment I stopped by a station I had already forgotten about what I was thinking of before. Slowly but surely, without me realising that my train is losing speed, I came to a full stop—I fell asleep.

“Moeru, Celestial Empress of Mischief. I challenge you to a duel of wits; Rock Paper Scissors, loser will grab lunch at the cafeteria,” he said, purposefully deepening his voice.
“Hmph! You really believe you stand a chance?! Almighty hand, controlled by the power of goddess Selene herself, let’s beat this fraud!”
“Rock… paper… scissors!”
We simultaneously held out paper.
“Sublime, I didn’t think you had it in you…”
“Heh, never underestimate the Sage of Wrath!”
“You may have successfully escaped defeat, but I’m taking you down now, rock… paper… scissors!”
Once again we both did the same. This went on until all the nice lunch picks were sold out.
“Great, all the good stuff is gone now. Thanks, Tamaki”
“What are you getting all worked up for? It was you who failed to beat me in time.”
“So what are we getting now–”
All of a sudden I heard a beeping noise.
“Tamaki, do you hear this, too?”
“Hear what?”
That’s not what the fire alarm sounds like, right?
With a little bit of panic in my eyes I turned around, in every direction as the sound kept getting louder.
Suddenly, the floor turned ninety degrees and was now where the walls were.
“Tamaki!” I yelled out for help and tried to reach my arm out.
I lost balance and fell down towards what was the floor, but now the wall is in the floor’s position.
I woke up the moment my head hit the floor, outside of the dreamworld.
“Oww…”
I turned off my alarm clock and started getting ready for school.

During a rather uneventful day at school, the only thing that was notable was my annoyance of the dream I had… which was a memory of something that happened a few years ago in middle school.
Once the final bell rang, I walked over to the student council room. On my way I came across the vice-prez, Hirawa-senpai.
“Good afternoon, Hirawa-senpai.”
“Ah, Moeru-chan, good afternoon.”
“How have things been going with your class rep work?”
We had some small talk whilst on our way.
“I’m going to stop by the bathroom real quick, you can go ahead if you want.”
“Don’t worry I’ll wait here.”
After a short while she returned and the both of us went back on our way to the student council room. The moment the door was in sight, someone came out of the room.
“That’s something you don’t see everyday,” vice-prez said, right when Tamaki—out of all people—left the room.
Vice prez smiled and waved at him before she opened the door and entered the room, whilst my legs had stopped moving a few seconds ago. I stared at Tamaki with a resentful look on my face, but when our eyes met he gave me a friendly smile.
“What?”
“It’s been a while, hasn’t it,” he said.
“It should have been a longer while.”
“Well, I’m glad to see you’re doing well. See you around,” he said, as he walked past me.
“I hope I don’t,” I replied, to which he laughed out loud.

The next morning I arrived early, because I’m on morning cleaning duty. Once I stacked all the chairsI stared out of the window to take a short break. My high spirits this morning were instantly crushed the moment I saw Tamaki walking through the school gates.
“Why would a good-for-nothing like him even be here at this hour?” I asked myself out loud.

During class my thoughts started drifting away from the teacher and I found myself wondering again why Tamaki has been acting weird lately. These last few days have been way too Tamaki-filled which makes me want Tamaki killed. First I dreamt about a memory of us, then I saw him leaving the student council room yesterday and today I saw him entering the school unusually early. All of this made me even more pissed off by his existence, so I decided to annoy him. Around this time on Wednesdays he always has PE.
“May I use the bathroom, please?” I asked the teacher.
“Of course,” he replied and off I went.
Hehehe, the mischievous empress is back. Instead of going to the bathroom I went to Tamaki’s classroom, peeked through the window to see if it was empty and then snuck in.
“This will teach you, Tamaki,” I walked up to his desk, took his keys out of his jacket’s pocket, “Taking these with me would be too cruel… Oh! I’ll just bury them in the deep depths of his bag.”
Following my harmless crime was a sprint towards the first floor, back to my own classroom. Once I entered the teacher noted,
“You look slightly out of breath, are you alright?”
Well, anyone would be after running at Mach 10 through the hallways.
“I’m fine, thanks for your concern.”
“Are you sure you’re alright?” my friend who sits behind me asked.
I turned around and smiled, “Yes, I’m fine.”

In the evening, right after I got out of the bath, I got a call from the student council president. I deeply inhaled, held on for a few seconds and then exhaled in hopes to calm me down—it didn’t.
“Good Moeru, evening speaking.”
“Good evening. Pardon me for calling you this late in the evening.”
“No worries at all! You can call me whenever you want, the entire evening!”
“I’m glad I’m not bothering. I wanted to ask you if you happened to be able to meet with the student council tomorrow morning before school.”
“Of course! Did something bad happen?”
“Nothing bad, no. There is a certain person who asked me to call the members of the student council to meet tomorrow.”
“Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow.”
I wonder who that certain person is…
The next morning, when all of us were waiting in suspense, the certain person who gathered us opened the door and it was no one other than… Tamaki!?
“Thank you for coming this early. I’ll try to keep it short,” he said.
“You better do! Since when do you even care about student council business?” I said, all fired up. The words left my mouth before I even realised it.
During the meeting he told us all about the last egg on earth that he's supposedly in possession of. I do have to say that I believe him, not only because the prez does, but he isn't the type of person who would lie about something like that. I ended up agreeing on helping him out. I would be lying if I said that this doesn't excite me, because I live for adventures like this!
