In 1956, world leaders were stunned by the discovery of gigantic creatures of various sizes worldwide. These creatures had been living in hidden pockets around the world, shrouded by mystical forces that kept them concealed from most people.
Only a select few individuals could see them clearly, and these few decided that the government needed to know about these hidden beasts. This was how the monsters were first officially discovered.
Instead of sharing this information with the public and potentially dispelling the magic that hid these creatures, the government decided to keep it classified. They began studying the creatures, hoping to harness them as potential weapons.
By the early 2000s, their efforts finally bore fruit. They managed to control one of the monsters, training it to obey their commands. With this breakthrough, the government declared its success, attempting to boost its standing by subtly threatening other nations with its new weapon.
But that’s when things took a darker turn. In 2010, several monsters, which were supposed to be dormant in their hidden nests, suddenly awoke and began wreaking havoc on nearby cities.
Governments around the world started blaming each other, with fingers primarily pointed at the nation claiming to have control over the monsters. What was supposed to be a weapon of triumph became an undeniable symbol of disaster. This nation was shunned on the global stage and soon struggled to maintain its integrity. As people realized their nation was on the verge of collapse, they began fleeing, accelerating its downfall.
Amid the turmoil, a brilliant but controversial scientist emerged. This man was Professor Sato—a genius whose ideas bordered on madness. He developed an ambitious plan not only to control monsters but to breed one of his own, designed exactly to his specifications.
For ten long years, he worked tirelessly to create this living miracle, yet all he managed to produce were mere clones. Frustrated and nearing the edge of sanity, Sato declared his most radical idea yet.
He proposed to use a human as the base and transform it into a monster, one that embodied his ideals.
When he revealed this, his peers were horrified, rejecting the idea as unethical and branding the creation as a potential abomination. But Sato was already too far gone.
In secret, he constructed hidden labs deep in the mountains, where he began conducting human experiments. Using mercenaries and criminals as a means to gather his materials, he plunged the world into chaos—a chaos that even overshadowed the fear of the monstrous beasts.
However, Sato’s operation was eventually exposed. A spy uncovered his secret lab, leading to a government raid that destroyed his research and condemned Sato to death for his horrifying actions.
But Sato was prepared. Before he was captured, he had unlocked the secret to altering a living being’s biological structure. He had modified his own body, making himself immune to poison, and electricity, and capable of surviving on just a few drops of blood with a heart that barely needed to beat.
As expected, he was sentenced to death by electrocution. His head was fried under a massive surge of electricity, and his charred body was buried in an unmarked grave deep in the mountains.
But hours later, Sato, who had developed a resistance to electrocution, awoke and dug himself out of the grave. Weak but determined, he fled from the mountains, trekking halfway across the world until he arrived on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean.
There, Sato planned his comeback, his mind still burning with his twisted vision.
he began to rebuild his lab from scratch. Using every ounce of intelligence he had, he created accidents around the ocean and collected the scraps to construct the most sophisticated laboratory for himself.
During one of his experiments that had gone wrong, he stumbled upon a survivor—a man with a strong build who was struggling with anger issues and was on his way to therapy.
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
Sato captured this man and subjected him to unspeakable torture, pushing him beyond any reasonable limits. He aimed to drive the man insane and break his spirit before ultimately altering his body, transforming him into a monster.
The entire process took an excruciatingly long time, but Sato was patient. As long as his plan came to fruition, he didn’t care about how much time it took.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Sato’s former team finally discovered a way to breed a monster of their own. They began conducting experiments and realized that Sato’s conclusions were indeed correct.
If they wanted a monster that would obey their every command, they needed to use a human sacrifice as their primary material.
The scientists, led by Laurel and Clarisa, presented their research to the government, and finally, the government accepted their controversial idea.

Back to Professor Sato.
With his lab completed and his human research in progress, he started to feel an unusual attachment to his research subject, driven by his lack of social interaction and seclusion.
He named his research subject Asoka, after his late abusive father, hoping that his soon-to-be monster would be as ferocious and terrifying as his father had been.
At first, Asoka often resisted the changes made to his body. This was because he still retained his human mind and hated everything that had been done to him.
However, over time, Asoka began to accept his fate and became more obedient. Although he frequently went on berserk rampages when he was let loose during tests, causing chaos and destruction.
That’s why Sato decided to put a dampener on Asoka’s mind. This way, Asoka would only awaken for a short time, and his fury would be short-lived—not long enough to guarantee a full berserk state but sufficient to take down his future opponents.
One day, Sato began to question how he should send Asoka into battle. He believed that Asoka could swim across the ocean to reach the battleground, but that would take too long. By the time he arrived, the enemy might have already been killed or escaped.
This is when Sato decided to research teleportation devices. He already knew the basic theory behind teleportation; what he needed now was a practical application.
Somehow, by sheer luck, Sato discovered that the current theory of teleportation could work with Asoka. Asoka was a beast with only a minimal amount of soul left inside, meaning that even if he was deconstructed and then reconstructed at his destination, not much would change about him.
Sato then began to test this theory directly with Asoka as his subject. He sent Asoka through the teleportation process repeatedly, retrieving him again and again. Each attempt resulted in random effects, many of which were painful for Asoka. But Sato focused solely on the results, completely disregarding Asoka’s well-being.

Ten years went by, and Asoka had grown quite well. Meanwhile, Sato continued his research, developing a new idea to not only let Asoka grow stronger but also give him the ability to evolve and adapt under his command.
He designed this new ability so that Asoka could devour various kinds of creatures and absorb the nutrients entering his body. After analyzing all the information, Sato would guide Asoka’s evolution, hoping to create the ultimate monster in the future.
While Sato was busy with Asoka and everything else on his secret island, Laurel and Clarisa were also developing their own monster. The only difference was that they planned to create an ultimate monster from the very beginning, using it as a battle puppet that would fight under their guidance.
Additionally, they discovered that most monsters didn’t really try to attack humans. Typically, these creatures lived in their own pocket spaces or hidden nests, going about their lives as if nothing had changed.
Those who managed to exit their spaces were usually young and lost, panicking and scared. Often, a simple act of guidance was enough to maintain peace between humans and the monsters.
This new discovery raised questions about the monster-breeding project, as it began to seem useless and a waste of effort. Laurel and Clarisa had to exhaust all their resources and favors just to keep their project going.
Then, at the end of 2019, the true reason for their monster-breeding project revealed itself in the form of evil monsters. This group of monsters, scattered around the world, decided to bring disaster to humans instead of living peacefully in their own spaces.
These monsters began their attacks from the coastlines, gradually moving into the continent’s interior, where they built gigantic nests and slowly started their occupation.
Their first victim was Northern Asia, which was occupied by Russia and the smaller nations below it.
The monsters attacked from the northern side of the continent, navigating the impossible terrain and establishing their nests somewhere around the Siberian Plateau.
From there, they began to occupy the land, and over the span of ten years, they managed to conquer Russia, driving out the humans who once lived there and turning the entire nation into their nest.
The existence of this monster nation made the monster-breeding project led by Laurel and Clarisa important once again.
Just as they prepared to launch their monster, a new threat emerged when another monster attacked the coastline of Eastern America. It flattened nearby cities with a massive tsunami, killing millions of people.
Laurel and Clarisa were about to unleash their own monster when suddenly, Asoka appeared out of nowhere, killed the invading monster, and then vanished just as quickly.

Back to the present.
Laurel and Clarisa were keeping an eye on their final preparations. Their pilot was ready in the cockpit, and their monster was set to be activated. All they needed to do was give the command.
"Are you ready, Clarisa?" Laurel asked nervously.
"As ready as anyone can be," Clarisa replied, matching his tone.
Just as they were about to give the command, a panicking staff member rushed in with urgent news.
"Sir! Sir! A new attack has been reported at Mount Fuji in Japan! The mountain has split in two, and a gigantic monster has emerged from it!" said the staff member.
"How big is this monster?" Clarisa asked.
"It’s estimated to be about fifty meters tall—the biggest one ever seen on Earth!"
Clarisa and Laurel exchanged worried glances. Their own monster was only about twenty meters tall, far smaller than the current threat.
"What do we do now?" Clarisa asked.
Just as Laurel was about to answer, another staff member stormed in to deliver more shocking news.
"Sir! The lizard monster from before has suddenly appeared and is challenging the one at Mount Fuji!"
"What? Deploy our monster now!" Laurel roared.
"What should we call—" one of the staff members started to ask, but Laurel quickly cut him off.
"Its name is Sota, taken from the person who defied the world’s expectations and probably has returned alive! Now go!" Laurel shouted again as he ran to his computer.
