After he was done preparing, he waited for the perfect timing, making sure that the guards weren't paying attention. When he was sure that the guards were not on alert, Mike then threw the clothes ball, big enough to get stuck between the bars. With his first attempt, it failed, but on his second attempt, he succeeded. The cloth swung when it reached the top and went in between the two bars. One of the guards slightly opened his eyes when he heard a low noise, but he closed his eyes immediately since the noise was not loud enough. Mike also noticed the guard and froze, but upon seeing the guard go back to taking a nap, Mike felt relieved.

Mike then slowly climbed the gate without making unnecessary noise, as he had no other choice but to use the gate as an exit. The walls were built like a prison, preventing people from inside climbing out. After carefully moving upward, Mike finally succeeded in reaching the top. He slowly moved downward to the outside, but suddenly, his grip failed, and he fell 7 feet (2.13 m) above the ground. When he hit the ground, it created a loud noise. Mike's face turned white, and he knew he messed up this time. Still, it wouldn't change the fact that he succeeded in escaping from inside. His problem now was to run as fast as possible and find a hiding spot to successfully escape.
