Mike's head popped out: “You guys can’t enter?”
Rod nodded his head: “Yes, my lord. Even when we touch the entrance, all we can feel is the same as touching land.”
Rod then got an idea and punched the wall with all his might, causing a loud noise. Rod was sent flying, and he hit the other side of the rift valley. The guards who were guarding the Zeit border gate heard the noise and decided to check it. After a few seconds, they finally reached where the noise came from, and Mike saw the guards.
Mike told Elowen in a low voice: “Those are the guards on the border gate of our Zeit clan.”
Upon hearing this, Elowen looked toward the five guards without saying anything. She then looked toward Rod, who was laying in the middle of a huge pit. Rod slightly blushed when he saw Elowen looking; he felt ashamed for his carelessness.
The five guards noticed Elowen, and they were stunned. They looked toward where Elowen was looking and saw a handsome young man laying with a slight blush. The captain, as an experienced cultivator, noticed that he could not see through the woman. The only thing he thought was that the woman was stronger than him because he could see Rods cultivation since both of them were on the Foundation Establishment.
The captain, seeing his subordinates' reactions, warned them: “Don’t get any ideas. If you guys want to live, let's go. There's nothing special here, it's just a couple having some arguments.”
The four newbies nodded their heads and followed their captain back to their post. On the other hand, Rod's face turned red when he heard the words, while Mike looked at Rod with interest, and he looked towards Elowen and noticed that Elowen was a little annoyed.
Mike thought to himself: “Interesting.”
Mike's head once again popped out: “You guys can wait here; I will just go and get the gold I buried.”
Elowen looked at Mike and humbly responded: “Yes, my lord. We will wait for you outside.”
Mike nodded his head, and he went inside. Mike then retrieved the gold that he buried and collected all the weapons and armor he saw on the way, putting them in the storage ring.
While he was inside, Mike took a deep breath and looked around: “This place is indeed a haven. I can feel that the Heaven and Earth are way richer than the outside. It might be because of these huge heavenly crystals on every wall.”
Meanwhile, Rod got up and returned to Elowen's side, with his head looking at the ground. Elowen looked at Rod while smirking. She knew that Rod liked her since she heard Daxton and Rod's conversation before. She, too, liked Rod, but at that time, she didn’t think too much about it because Rod was a mortal. Even though Rod was a mortal, there was still a chance he would accept Rod, but not much because it might cause conflict between Daxton and Rod. But now was different, and Rod was no longer a mortal. Rod even looked younger again. They had been together for a very long time, and she was too familiar with Rod. The reason she got annoyed was that Rod was not manly enough and always acted like a shy little boy.

Elowen looked at Rod: “Can you act like a proper man? No woman would marry you if you keep acting like a shy baby.”
Upon hearing Elowen's comment, Rod's face turned red, and Elowen could only sigh.
After a while, Mike came out from the cave, and he saw the two now acting weird again. He smiled: “Let's go. We're going to the Zeit state. We entered on the opposite side, and let's hide our cultivation because all of my clansmen are mortals.”
Elowen then started to control the flying boat again, and they went toward Mike's clan. After a while, they saw a high wall, and they flew over it and landed inside.
Mike suggested, “Let's walk from here to avoid detection.” The two agreed, and they started walking. After a few minutes, they finally arrived. Mike then told Rod and Elowen: “You guys stay here. I'll go alone. The others might get surprised if they see unfamiliar faces. You guys wait here; I'll be back in a few minutes.”
Rod nodded his head: “Yes, my lord. We will wait for you here.”
After some small discussion, Mike moved toward the clan leader's house. Upon his arrival, he saw the clan leader looking haggard with two beautiful women inside. Despite their haggard faces, their beauty still could not be hidden.
Mike asked, “Old man! Mother, and big Sister, are you guys okay? What's wrong?”
The clan leader looked at Mike in surprise: “Oh, little Mike. I thought you went outside.”
Mike's adopted mother then hugged Mike and asked with full of worries: “Little Mike, where have you been? I’ve been looking for you around, but I can’t find you.”
Hearing this, Mike felt a little guilt because he didn’t say goodbye when he left.
He looked at his adopted mother and said: “Mother, the old man didn’t tell you?” Hearing this, Mike's adopted mother looked at the clan leader and asked: “You knew everything, huh? And you didn’t tell me, even when I asked!”
Seeing that his wife was on fire, the clan leader explained: “I couldn’t tell you that Mike went outside. It would only make you more worried.” The clan leader then looked toward Mike and asked: “Right, how did you return?”
Mike smiled: “I am with my friend, and they are waiting for me outside. Since the other clansmen didn’t know them, I let them wait outside to avoid commotion.”
The clan leader asked Mike again: “Why did you return?”
Upon hearing the clan leader's question, Mike smiled: “I returned to give you some gold, to teach you guys how to cultivate. No need to worry, I will also teach you guys a technique to hide your cultivation so that you will still look like mortals in the eyes of other cultivators.”
The three of them were shocked, even the lifeless eyes of his stepsister glowed.
Mike's stepsister asked: “Are you really telling the truth?”
When Mike heard his stepsister's question, he replied: “Of course, big sister Chloe. I will teach you, mom, and the old man how to cultivate.”
Mike then took out 1 million gold coins from his storage and placed them on the floor. The trio was shocked; they hadn’t seen a lot of money before.
