Day 1
10:30 PM | 11th June 2016, Saturday
"What the fuck did you do?!!" (Butch)
"Didn't I tell you? I stole your ability."
I was gonna make sure to pay back in full with what Butch was going to do just now! If I didn't take his ability, he would have killed me! But am I able to kill someone... We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
"Stand still for your due punishment."
I slowly approach Butch and I can see from his face that he is terrified. That's what you get from trying to kill me.
"W-Wait! We're friends right!? Right!? So why don't we forget this thing? Huh? We're buddies right?!" (Butch)
"As if I would let you go after you tried to kill me, and I even told you what my ability is."
I am a couple of steps away from Butch, but I cover that distance in 2 seconds and stand in front of his fat figure.
I grip his neck and start squeezing with just enough pressure not to kill him immediately.
"W-Wait! Please, I don't want to die!"
His voice is very shallow from me strangling him, and he tries to my arm off of his neck with all his might but he is unable to even budge it.
"Please! Plea...." (Butch)
As his voice stops his hands also stops struggling and becomes limp.
*Thump*
I drop him to the ground and look at what I have done.
'I didn't feel anything when I killed him... Is it possible that I am some kind of psycho that doesn't feel anything when he kills someone? No, that doesn't sound right, after all, I felt extremely sad when my pet dog died a few years back. Maybe this change of mentality came with the abilities? What else will these abilities bring...?'
'Now... What should I do with the body?'
I find out after a while of thinking that I could put him in a big bag after I cracked a few bones(Eww) making the body able to be as small as possible. After that, I took the bag with me to the nearest river, and after making sure that no cameras saw me and no people were nearby I dropped him into the river.
I came back home and cleaned up the mess Butch made and switched the door(There is a lot of spare doors in the basement for some weird reason). Thankfully, no one besides I and Butch lives in this apartment building, the owner lives in his own home 5 minutes away. The city I live in is Irondale, CA, USA. (Not a real place)

I look through the internet searching with the keyword 'abilities'. There are a lot more articles today than yesterday regarding the abilities, but most of them have the same information as the ones I read yesterday except the few articles that proclaim this is the end of the world and etc.
I was beginning to get bored when I found a live video on Youtube of a press conference with the president regarding the abilities.
Basically, the president just said that they are working hard finding out the reason we got these abilities and that we should not use the abilities so much because they don't know what it can do to our bodies and that we should continue our life as normal.
I decide to go out and look at other people's abilities since I couldn't find out anything more regarding it, so I could just figure it out myself.
I exit the apartment building and walk down the street looking at all the people flying in the sky enjoying themselves.
'I gotta get a flying skill soon.'
The best place to find a lot of people would be the park, and it only takes about 10 minutes to walk from home to the park.
In order to get there faster, it is possible to walk through a long alley, but I never did that because I was kinda afraid, but not anymore.
When I had gotten out of sight from the main road a man landed in front of me with flames coming out of his arms and legs.
"Stop!" (Unknown guy)
"What?"
I was quite surprised seeing coming down so suddenly, I didn't see nor notice him before he was in front of me.
"Give me all your money and valuables, now!!" (Unknown guy)
'Is he really trying to rob me?'
"Come on!! Fast! All your money!!!" (Unknown guy)
"Sure sure, just take it easy."
I take out my wallet and phone from my pockets and stretch them out the thief. When the thief is going to take the phone and wallet, he lowers the fire from his arm and then I strike. I take hold of his arm and immediately steal his ability before he can even re-activate it again.

I didn't let him have a chance to finish talking and burned him to ashes.
'Well... that was easy.'

Day 4

I have gone out every day since then hoping for something similar to happen but alas nothing did, so I have not gained any extra abilities.
I am currently looking through the internet for any new information regarding abilities, I have done this every day now, but nothing new and interesting has come to light but the president has made many press conferences during this time, mainly about updates regarding the research into abilities, which as I said didn't contain any new information. The president also has gotten a lot of questions regarding the implementations of ability users being police officers or other government employees, because since everyone gained abilities the crime rate has skyrocketed.
Going through my last check to find out if I missed anything such as an article or similar, and I really did almost miss an important article.
The article's headline is 'Every ability is ranked'. (Author note: good headline, I know)
In the article is information regarding ranks and grades that every ability has. According to the article, Grade means how much the ability has progressed in other words, level. To raise the grade of an ability you just have to use it repeatedly and it will grow more powerful.
Rank means how rare an ability is and how powerful it is. Rank is numbered from 1 to the highest known 6. If you were to put it in game terms it would be Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and lastly God. The last one, God, is there the least of, there are only 5 known users now, and every one of them is extremely powerful, Resurrection, All-Elemental Control, Morphing, True Immortality and Time Reversal.
'Wait, if the rank 6 is this powerful then what about my rank 7?'
