Day 0 

11:12 PM | 10th June 2016, Friday

The dark room that was littered with empty fast food containers was only lit up by a screen that was all the way in the back of the 30 square meter apartment. 

Infront of that screen was a young man around the age 20, his long and unkempt black hair was almost covering his entire face. The eyes were the only thing that you could see of his face, but he wasn't some sort of psycho or a fat otaku. His build was lean, but he didn't have many muscles, he didn't even have a six-pack. The reason he doesn't cut off his hair is simply that he doesn't want to bother to go to a barber. His name is Cyrus King.

When Cyrus was 18 years old, his parents died due to a traffic accident, and because he was the only remaining member of his family he inherited a small fortune in the millions due to his family being slightly rich. The reason he didn't buy a larger apartment or a house was that he simply couldn't be bothered to do it, he still is using the same apartment he was living in when his parents died, he has barely touched the money he got other than to pay the monthly fees for the apartment and necessary things like food and water.

Right now Cyrus is looking through the internet looking for something to entertain him.

"What?"

He finds a news article written by a well-respected news website, and the article is named 'Man hit by steel girder, remains unharmed!'

"What a weird way to clickbait." Cyrus knew it was clickbait but his interest was already piqued, so he clicks on the news article and enters.

Inside the article was a lot of text and at the end was a video. The text basically said that a man was taking a walk near a construction site and due to an accident a steel girder fell from the crane and hit the man but he didn't sustain any visible injuries.

"This has to be fake."

Cyrus still doesn't believe it and goes to check the video.

The video is shaky, and it was filmed with the phone being vertical so there were black bars on the sides. The video starts with the cameraman filming the crane due to there being an accident on the top. The accident soon makes the girder fall and just beneath the crane was the man strolling. The cameraman yells at the man to move away, but the man(girder guy) can't hear him(cameraman) and the girder falls on the man(girder guy). When the girder hits the man(girder guy) the cameraman screams and the video becomes blurry because he(cameraman) is holding his hands in front of his eyes. 

After a few more seconds the cameraman points the phone in the direction of the man(girder guy), but due to the girder hitting the ground, a lot of dust was kicked up and the visibility was low. It takes about 20 seconds for the dust to clear and we get a good shot of what happened to the man(girder guy). Where the man(girder guy) stood there was the girder but it was bent, and just behind the girder stood the man(girder guy) panting and he was looking very confused and then the video goes back to the moment the girder was about to hit the man and it goes in slow motion capturing every frame until what happened was showed. The moment the girder touched the man, the girder started bending around the man's figure as if the man(girder guy) was even harder than the girder. The video ends there.

Cyrus was shocked from what he just witnessed and immediately went to the comments on the article.

"What?!"

Cyrus starts searching for the keywords 'ability' on the internet and he immediately finds a lot of information from news organizations and Youtube videos.

He found out that people are starting to awaken their abilities and the abilities are connected to what kind of personality you have. The way people find out about their abilities is that the ability activates without their control once and then you hear a voice saying what your ability is, and you are able to use your ability after that.

"So that means I won't be able to know what my ability is until after it activates itself."

"Since that is the case, then I will go to bed and think more about it tomorrow."

Cyrus shuts down his computer and lays down on the bed, it takes only a few minutes for him to fall asleep.

Day 1

10:26 PM | 11th June 2016, Saturday

Cyrus wakes up to someone pounding on the door.

"Who is it!?"

Cyrus is annoyed because he was woken up when he sleeping peacefully.

*Bang*

The door is forced open with a strong force that cracks the door hinges, and from the hallway comes a large man about the age of 30. When I said large, I meant fat, his weight is about 150 kg. His name is Butch Snyder. He is somewhat of a bully if you can even call adults that. He always tries to pick a fight with me whenever he sees me, but he is really slow since he is so fat, so I can just dodge behind him and kick his leg to make him come tumbling down.

"What do you want Butch?"

I was irritated due to him ruining my nice sleep and my door.

"Don't talk to me like that!!" (Butch)

"You should be careful now that I have gained these ultimate powers. You will be crushed to a mush." (Butch)

He demonstrates his power by crushing the door handle to a metal clump.

'He has Enhanced Strength...'

Cyrus get's a little nervous by seeing that power since he himself hasn't awakened his own power yet and he tries not to let his nervousness show on his face.

"Look what I can do, I will crush you like I like crushed this door handle."

Butch reaches forward and grabs Cyrus's collar and lifts him up so that he is about 50 cm above the ground.

"Die!!" (Butch)

Butch raises his other in order to punch me, but before he is able to do that, the strength in his arm that is holding me up disappears and I fall to the ground.

"What happened to my ultimate power!!?" (Butch)

'My ability is Steal...'

"What the fuck did you do you bastard!!?" (Butch)

He screamed at Cyrus who was thinking about his power. Cyrus looked at Butch again after he was screamed at.

"What did I do?" Cyrus smirked.

"I took your ability. You are now all bark but no bite."

"What!??" (Butch)

"Let me show it to you, the ability I took from you."
