Chapter 12: The Gary Army
Early morning the next day, every Gary was out in front of the goblins Den, both military and civilian Gary’s.
This was a historical moment in the early beginnings of the Gary Empire and everyone wanted to witness such a glorious event. In the center area the army was in formation, First was the row of Fire mages, 6 in total including OG’s disciple Gary 7.
Behind them were Gordens’ 2 clones, Gordon himself was standing by OG as his right hand clone. Following after the Gorden twins were Gunter and his 4 test subjects. Each one holding a bag containing a couple of Fire-staffs. Behind them was the shield army that was rushed to form yesterday, about 60 Gary’s in that company.
In addition there is a small group that’s carrying the food and water and other supplies, Logistic Garys. All in all ,it was the First Gary army seen in the world of OLOP.
Original Gary stood on a small wooden platform at the head of the entire group. He silently overlooked his men and took in the magnificent sight. He was proud of the accomplishments he and the Garys made since they arrived here over two weeks ago.
‘How far I’ve come, only two weeks ago I was just a normal guy on Earth leading a normal life. Well could I even call it a life? But here and now it’s all changed. Before OLOP, I was weak and obeyed the life that society had organized . But now? I have a unwritten future that I can shape however I want myself, true freedom’ (Originals thoughts)
However, as proud as he was , OG wasn’t the one to be in charge, that job was delegated to OG’s Latest Clone. He was to be the general overlooking the expedition, having the OG’s memories allowed him to know the devised plans that were thought of from the previous night. There was no need for the Original to put himself in unnecessary danger, ‘General Gary’ even took on a fitting class that the OG managed to unlock over the two weeks.

This class was the first instance of a higher tier class, offering 2 Free attributes instead of 1. OG didn't neglect his own leveling and had built up many types of skills over time. Combined With some early morning grinding, it provided enough exp to barely get to level ten, allowing General Gary to be able to pick 2 Chosen skills.

“I gathered you all here today to witness the birth of the glorious Gary army. Consisting of the best Garys we have, elites of the elites! I wish you luck on your battle and thank you for your effort to protect our home! Some of you won’t make it back, but hear this loud and clear. We are all Gary! We are all brothers and of the same soul, for us death is not to be feared! Death is meaningless for you, [Clones] who can give their experiences and skills to the next generation. The Audience was silent, no one dared to speak while their leader Original spoke, everyone was captivated by his natural charm despite the state of the clothes that he was wearing, the clothes he had arrived in over 14 days ago. It was a step up from the crude garments that Gerald and his apprentices made for everyone using monster skins and leaves. But it worked to show that the leader is different from the common Gary, he was their leader, their superior, their Idol.
“ So I ask you, the Garys of Earth, the ones who will claim to conquer this land of OLOP. What will you do when enemies threaten our mission?” (Original)
Original shut his lips and looked out to the crowd , expectation in his pressuring gaze.
“ Um….we fight!” (Random crowd Gary)
“ Yeah , we kill them!” (?? Gary)
“ The mission cannot fail, we must crush our obstacles like the insects they are” (another random crowd Gary)
The crowd got motivated, their blood thirst rose and the flow of the event shifted to an energetic vibe. No longer a quite silent army, but
a boisterous army ready to kill!
Originals natural Charm and speech was a deadly force in of itself, combined with fantasy stats? He was unstoppable. Gary was happy with his desired outcome for this was what he wanted. He looked at Gorden and nodded his head.
Taking the signal Gorden raised his stick into the air and shouted. “ For the Empire! Garys, March!”
The crowd was a mixture of testosterone filled screams and cheers, the army was now deployed, marching to the battle that would be written down later in the Gary Chronicles.
The Army quickly left making it known to the animals within the local area due to their ruckus, Original watched them leave and when they were out of sight he directed the left over Garys to form a defensive strategy while the powerhouses were out.
' Alright, time to get back to work. I can’t idly wait for them to come home like a good Gary, I need to prepare just in case.' Gary thought.

20 minutes into the march and the Army was still motivated , but the silence had returned at the order of General Gary.
“ Originals speech was very good, it fills me with confidence that our fight will be surely won” (Gordens twin 1)
“Now we can’t get ahead of ourselves. Yes his speech was good, the army is in high morale. But we are still in the middle of an unknown forest , and yelling out irresponsibly will attract monsters.” (Gorden)
“ True, I wish Original would put some thought into what I have to deal with. I had to use my skill for such a absurd reason” (General Gary)
“ Ha ha ha, General must have it hard. It’s only been a day since your cloning and already you’re put into such a tough position” (Gorden)
“ It’s alright, it’s not too bad. Compared to the Original who is stuck at base camp I can get some fresh air, explore a little. Original’s memories express a desire to explore himself but has refrained.” (General Gary)
“ Why?” (Gorden twin 2)
“ Because he’s too valuable, he’s scared. He’s not a clone like us, if we die our memories go back to our parent clone. But him? He’s not a clone he's human.” (Gunter)
The Garys nodded their heads agreeing
“ That’s why it’s our job to protect him and the Gary Empire, we have to become strong , we have to defeat the enemy that dares to encroach on our land.” (Gorden)
“ Yeah! I will become strong” (Twin Gordon 1)
“ Me too! To protect the Boss!” (Twin Gorden 2)
“Ha ha ha ha, I’m looking forward to it. Do your best” (Gorden)
Gorden rustled the two twins' hair at their antics, the mood grew lighter as they continued to walk.
