Deepraj looked at Freya thinking, and said, “I think we should go back I was reckless; we should have prepared better.” Everyone was silent after that. “the fight itself wasn’t that difficult if we were a little more careful, we could have won easily. I think instead of going back we should rethink our strategy by staying here for a while. Going back will only waste time. I was also careless I could have seen the fox or distracted it with my ability but I didn’t clock it in time.” Said Felix.

“Yep you should not be sorry about anything.” Said Freya.

“Then I think we should go to that boulder. I can make a temporary camp there with my ability” said Tobi.

They all nodded and Sid said “I will bring the fox we can eat it.”

“wouldn’t it be unhealthy or something.” Asked Emma.

“no, our bodies have gotten more resilient after we got classes but if you want, I can disinfect it with my skill” he replied.

With that said and done Tobi, Deepraj and Freya went toward the boulder and others went to the fox. Tobi put his hand on the rock and focused on it then he started hollowing the boulder. He had made a space of 2 by 2 meters when he ran out of mana. He went inside with his friends and sat down to meditate. After recovering his mana, he expanded the place. Then Deepraj spoke up, “hey can you use that skill to make pointed rocks for my projectiles?”. Tobi looked at him and placed his hand on the wall and is threw out nearly 10 stone spikes Tobi gave them to his along with the spike in his pocket and said “I can only make one at a time with my current mana pool so use it in emergency. It is supposed to be extra durable”. Deepraj took the spikes from him and said, “why don’t you put your free points into int, it increases your mana pool”. Tobi was surprised to hear that but he did just that put three points into int and one into str and checked his status screen.

Everything looked normal but he noticed that his M.P. went up by 38 points which meant that the gains by each point are not same.

After a while they went outside where they had started a fire and Sid was cooking the fox. They ate for a while and talked and then Felix noticed someone coming toward them. After a while the person reached them. It was Anmol. He came and greeted everyone. He said that he came back early and they were not there, so he decided to follow them after asking for their direction.

They put out the fire after that and everyone went to sleep inside the boulder. Before going to sleep Tobi decided to compress another spike for Deepraj. Everyone woke up next morning, not comfortable with sleeping on the ground. Everyone decided to go further. And Tobi gave another spike to Deepraj.

Anmol decided to scout ahead and as he was about to go Felix cast an illusion spell on him and said, “it will last for only about five minutes but I can cast it often.” To which Anmol nodded. To Tobi Anmol blended well with the grassland. If you were not looking for him you will probably miss him completely.

Anmol came back soon and told that there was another fox a bit further. They decided to engage it first. First Freya used a fire bolt on it and it started burning. After flailing on the ground for a while it started running toward them. It was about to reach them when Deepraj threw a spike on it and it died after a few moments and a notification popped up.

After that Sid collected a bit of meat from the fox and kept it in a bog made of fox fur from yesterday. The bag looked like a complete piece with no joints. It was probably his skill at work here. They then moved further and Anmol spotted and group of five foxes. They started to engage them.

They started with a fire bolt by Freya and a projectile by Deepraj on two different foxes. Then Emma hit the same fox as Deepraj with water and it stammered back.

Freya cast another firebolt on another fox. Now two foxes were very close to their position and Felix pointed finger at one of them and it became disoriented and started moving in circles. Then Deepraj moved close to Anmol and cast a spell on him. Anmol blurred from his position and was near the remaining fox in an instant. He stabbed it with a wooden spear and fell forward, his face slamming the ground. Then the foxes at the back were killed by Emma and Deepraj and Anmol killed the last won. As soon as every fox was dead the notification appeared.

Anmol cursed and got up wiping dirt off his face. They decided to rest for the day and set up a camp. After eating Tobi asked Anmol for his spear and gave it a proper shape along with a compressed spearhead.

Everyone went to sleep after that. They woke up next day and started hunting again near their vicinity. After a few days Anmol, Deepraj and Freya were close to levelling up. While Tobi was a half full due to his weapons. Only one lacking behind was Sid, so he started experimenting with his skills. After few days of no success he said that he needed a live specimen to progress further and they decided to capture one alive the next day.
