"Breathe like I told you kid. Feel the Mana, breathe it in. hold it in your lungs and exhale." Cynthia directs Newt from behind.
Cynthia's hands against Newt's bare back, transforming her personalized mana into Pure mana and then pushing the Mana into Newt's heart and lungs.
"It's... It's hot, I think i sense it!" Newt exclaims in excitement. *Blech. Until said excitement gets interrupted by a stream of blood violently from his mouth, ears and pores. Becoming engulfed in a fiery all encompassing pain spreading through his body, his skin beginning to lose its consistency as his blood boils within his body, damaging not only the blood vessels but also his own skin begins to burn. blood spilling out across his body as his skin begins to bubble and lose its consistency.
"Shit, stop trying to sense it! Try to will it to leave your body!"
Cynthia tries to shake Newt from the pain of his body melting before clicking her tongue, and forcefully pushing her Personalized Mana into Newt's body to expel the Mana.
Newt's consciousness however had fully succumbed to pain.

"Eat shit Triz, told you healing magic would be a lifesaver...!" Cynthia exhaustedly proclaims.
Cynthia had, after a grueling 2 hours of healing, precise Mana Control and conversion, successfully converted the excess Pure Mana that had failed to be contained within Newt's heart and had spread through his blood vessels at high speeds into her own Personalized Mana before expelling the mana through Newt's pores. Cynthia had tried to pseudo-infuse Newt's heart with Mana, barely enough mana to line the heart's walls, how a majority of mages began their path, letting their body adjust to the Mana within the heart, and over a few weeks added in increasingly more and more Mana until it starts filtering the Mana into Personalized Mana and storing it within the heart.
Usually the Mana infused into the heart was someones own Personalized Mana, this of course effects the soon-to-be-mage's Mana, taking on small minute aspects of the others Mana, this is done for multiple reasons, such as safety, ease, and lack of knowledge from the new mage. Cynthia, didn't do this, instead infusing Pure Mana right into, Newt's heart, this causes a few unforeseen effects. Specifically the Mana Purity would be 100% if done by a competent mage, meaning the efficiency of the Mana and the effects of it are exponentially increased.
For one, whilst this has been tried in the past for obvious reasons, it has never been successful because of the problems occurring and that have occurred to Newt. Though the problems for those who attempted this in the past usually lied with the skills of the Mage doing the infusion. Along with Laws within Uniune that restrict doing this for Sapient-Decency. This wasn't going to stop Cynthia though.
Cynthia exhausted yet still thinking over what went wrong starts to mumble aloud.
"Let's see, for one, the sweat started evaporating before it even left his sweat glands, the sweat wasn't able to get anywhere near as efficient cooling as majority of it had evaporated before being able to leave the body. Not to mention that a portion of the heat was just moved back into the body after evaporation within it.
Though the situation only got so out of hand because the Mana started to spill into the rest of his body from his blood vessels, the blood vessels not having been strong enough to contain the Pure Mana running rampage, causing the body to become disfigured as some parts of his body were strengthened but not exclusively in beneficial ways to the body. Automatically trying to solve this issue his body tried to expel the Mana from his body through the sweat pores, but the heat had increased because of all this to a ridiculous degree that none of it helped. Causing more damage then help as Cynthia then had to force all the Mana out of his body and fix the disfiguration caused by this and his body melting.

The plus sides? Newt's body has become far more adjusted to Mana, he has Pure Mana in his heart that hasn't been converted into Personalized Mana, his body has drastically improved in its adaption to Mana, keeping it in the Kid's heart without any input. Downsides? The blood vessels are damaged, and won't be fully healed for a few weeks, this will decrease the usage of Mana in the early stages of Magic, more slowly spreading Mana throughout the blood vessels increasing the time it takes for them to eventually leave the pores."
"Overall, Newt can use magic more quickly, however his food consumption will increase drastically, and his Mana capacity will be far less than a new mage for at least a month. His body will heat up far more quickly as his sweat glands haven't fully healed and the excess lost Mana from his heart will spread through his body causing more disfigurement and his body's temperature to increase."
"Overall not bad." Cynthia grins and starts preparing food for when Newt inevitably wakes up. Though he won't take the news too kindly, good food will help. She thinks with a small smile.

Oh god, what the hell happened yesterday? Newt drunkenly woke up feeling like a truck hit him, I don’t even drink often, let alone enough to get a bad hangover? Wait, truck. Ah shit.
Newt shot up and unknowingly began drooling from the delectable smell infiltrating his nostrils, followed by a loud grumble from his stomach. It was so sudden, Newt was feeling relatively fine and then suddenly it’s like a endless void grows in his stomach that wishes to be full, and comply he did, not even saying good morning to Cynthia who had prepared a feast for him.
“Good morning sunshine, enjoying your breakfast?” Cynthia asks with a smirk.
Newt simply nods, not even bothering to question why she had made a feast or why he was hungry. Fully consumed by hunger.

After a few hours of eating, did Newt finally catch his breath to talk to Cynthia, this didn’t mean, however, that he stopped eating.
“Good morning, what was the occasion?” Newt gestures at the mostly eaten buffet of food.
“Do you not… Remember?” Cynthia questions, getting a shake of the head with stuff cheeks.
“Where too start, well it’s not morning it’s 3 in the afternoon, also I tried to help you sense Mana and make a pseudo Mana Heart to store Mana.” Cynthia explains with Newt staring at her with dazed eyes as the memories flooded back into him.
“What the hell happened?! Was the process suppose to be that painful?!”
“With Mana? No, what occurred was a slight miscalculation on my part and the side effects of an experiment I was doing.” Cynthia calmly explains much to Newt’s terror.
“Why!?”
“Well if it worked perfectly then you could use Pure Mana instead of personalised Mana, this being a great improvement in Mana Usage efficiency and raw power of the Mana increasing drastically. Not to mention other things we’ve already talked about, it should also help with Magi-Artificing.”
“And in the process of this ‘experiment’ i was lit on fire with my insides boiling and my skin melting?!”
“Correct.”
“Fuck off! I’m not doing that again!”
“Fair. Though I assume you would like to know the outcome of the experiment?”
“Didn’t it fail?”
“Partially, more accurate would be that it nearly completely failed but I managed to do damage control and stop your body from melting into a puddle of flesh and bone.
Starting with the downsides first, your mana usage will be less than a newly made mage, your mana Capacity is less than a mage, usually they have a more formed Mana Heart spans this can be done more safely but with personalised Mana.
Your pseudo heart is more akin to 2/10ths of a fully made lowest tier of Mana Heart, you’re not a mage yet, over the next few weeks we’ll be focusing on increasing that to 5/10ths where the quality of your Mana will make up the difference and then some, the closer you get to a Mana Heart the more the difference will show.
Essentially meaning your mana packs more of a punch but you have little of it, and you will lose a lot of Mana whenever you use it because your blood vessels haven’t fully healed.
Also your body temperature will increase far more easily because your sweat glands have been damaged and quickly and your appetite will increase.
Your body will heal and these problems will be solved, other problems however require actions to be solved, your increase in hunger however is something that will stay with you. At least until you can sustain yourself on Mana completely, but we are getting off topic.
And finally, you can use Mana sooner than other new mages!”
Newt was downcast from a lot of the news delivered and caused by Cynthia, however he sees the benefits and long-term this is for the best, even if it’s incredibly painful.
Most importantly though, was he was finally going to do Magic!
