[You've earned a new Mjolnir Skill!]
[Hammer Blink Level 1: Instantly teleport to the location of the Mjolnir. Grants a 5-point Dexterity boost for one second upon successful use.]
Ethan progresses to the next level and earns an extra Stats Point. Furthermore, the new skill of his Mjolnir was unlocked. Judging from the description, this Skill enabled him to move to the location of the Hammer. His new Skill had a strong connection to the prior Skill, which would boost his movement too.
However, he couldn't help but feel like there was more to this Skill. He wondered if he could do more.
Ethan devised a plan he could use; leaving his hammer in a spot, then fleeing to lure the Monster towards him, and activating the Skill to return to his hammer's location. By doing this, he had the added advantage of the ability to flee from the battle.
He rose suddenly and, due to his poor condition, he attempted to take shelter in a nearby store.
Quietly, he entered the bakery that the proprietor had seemingly left open and seated himself in a chair. Rather than running away, he sought to regain some of his spent Energy and Willpower by taking a breather.
Ethan looked at his watch and sighed, feeling like he'd waited for an eternity. He had no idea how long he'd been sitting there, but it had felt like an eternity.
No warning was given by the System as to when the assault would conclude.
"Where did anyone go?" He looked around the store and noticed no one else was there.
He could still discern the shouts coming from afar and the baying of other wolves.
"I wonder what happened to them..." He thought aloud.
Since his initial meeting with the Mutant Wolf, he hadn't encountered any other person. He wondered if they were still fighting or perhaps had already gathered in military shelters.
Even though merely a few minutes had elapsed since then, a great deal had transpired in such a brief stretch.
He wondered how many people would be left by the end of this battle and what kind of state the world would be left in after this was all over.
Ethan propped himself up, experiencing the ache in his left arm, which was now partially gone, and his chest, which had been severely cut. His injuries were gradually healing, but not quickly enough to enable his body to recuperate.
"Inventory." He muttered.

[1. Purple Grade Mutant Wolf Crystal x4]
After a strenuous battle that almost cost him his life, Ethan had only managed to collect 4 Monster Crystals, which weren't sufficient to purchase even the least expensive items from the Shop.
He wasn't sure if it was because he was only a beginner or if this was simply how things worked in this world.
Desiring to buy Potions, Healing Potions, in particular, to restore his body to a healthier state, he was dismayed to find this impossible. Therefore, he refrained from slaying any more Mutant Wolves.
To expedite his Energy's restoration, he retrieved packets of bread and mineral water from his Inventory and ate them. Gradually, his Energy and Willpower began to improve.
After finishing his meal, he was still hungry and decided to check his phone for news. He plucked the cell phone from his waist bag, still miraculously attached, recalling the fierce battle he'd just endured.
From the apps he had installed, notifications from the Military appeared regarding the number of Players and Monsters that might be in his vicinity.
At first, many individuals had registered their whereabouts, yet within minutes, only a few had made their way back to report. A single button could be pressed to indicate the user's position and give an update on their status.
Ethan immediately tapped the App and broadcasted his location, wishing for other participants to come to his rescue.
[A Mutant Wolf Elite Lvl 15 has been detected near your area]
The App sent another alert, notifying him of the nearby powerful enemy.
"I'm doomed." He shouted.
He slumped onto the table, inhaling deeply and desperately wishing for a miracle. Perhaps he could wake up from this nightmare, or something else could save him from this situation.
Ethan attempted to remain composed as much as he could. He mustered his energy to be able to flee if another crisis arose. Recollecting the 1 new Status Point he gained, he anxiously needed the Stamina to guarantee he could run and utilize his abilities in an emergency.
His Stamina had already reached its limit. If he couldn't run, he'd be killed before he could even try to escape.
Unfortunately, his physical state was so severe that he would perish instantly if he encountered another attack. Subsequently, after much contemplation, he determined to assign his new Stats Points to Constitution, temporarily wishing his bodily injuries would lessen a tad and aid him to move more freely.

[Energy: 4/30]

His injuries gradually mended, but the scars remained, visible through the rents in his blood-soaked garments. The wounds had cut deep, leaving scars on his hands and chest.
Arg-Woooooo
Arg-Woooooo
Arg-Woooooo
Ethan's Stamina had not yet fully returned, but the howls of wolves echoed in unison, getting ever nearer.
He attempted to rise, moved to the door, and tried to glimpse the conditions outside. Shards of glass from the lamps along the street and the nearby stores littered the ground.
Although the area was dim from a distance, he could plainly make out a pack of Mutant Wolves approaching. He had hoped that his present hiding-place could shield him until reinforcement arrived. But it appears he was mistaken.
'Do wolves have a sense of smell as keen as dogs? Or did they come because I slew their herd?'
Ethan shut the door once more and concealed himself, hoping the monsters would go by without detecting his being there.
It seemed to him that they weren't hastening but ambling while still letting out roars that filled the atmosphere.
Arg-Woooooo
Arg-Woooooo
Arg-Woooooo
Ethan was sitting with his back to the door, trying to be as calm as possible and breathing as quietly as possible. Then after that came a very clear growl and howl from outside where Ethan was hiding.
'They found my whereabouts?'
Ethan peeked out the door again and guessed correctly. A Mutant Wolf stood not far from the door where he was hiding and growled at Ethan. In the distance, a group of Mutant Wolves approached with the leading Mutant Wolf, which had a more extensive form and was 2 meters tall, and its fur was darker and denser.
Ethan had his back turned to the door, trying to remain composed and breathing as quietly as he could. But after a while, he heard a distinct growl and howl echoing from outside.
'They've tracked me down!'
He peered out the door, and his suspicions were confirmed. A Mutant Wolf was not far from the entrance he had been hiding in, and it snarled viciously at him.
In the distance, a pack of Mutant Wolves were coming closer, led by a particularly large one that was two meters tall, with dark and thicker fur.
