ANTIGOD: The Odyssey Of God
V2, C0 : The Other World, Part II

V2, C0 : The Other World, Part II

A group of cloaked figures gathered around a large magic circle. They were preparing themselves to summon a proxy of God. To an outsider, such a ritual would look almost identical to a satanic ritual.

They’d already drawn the circle using some sort of white chalk and were now double layering it with the king’s natural white blood. His blood alone would suffice as a necessary catalyst for such a thing, seeing as he’d forged a contract with God. Or at least, the man who claimed to be God.

While tracing the magic circle with blood pouring from his slit wrist, he questioned a maid standing by at the back of the dark room.

“You did bring the item, right?”

“Of course, father. I’m ready to use it at any moment.”

A feint light covered his slit wrist as the wound healed. King Priam, the ruler of this thriving Empire, stepped through the group of mages and walked over to the maid that was standing in the back of the room.

“How long until he is summoned?”

“It should take roughly six minutes, my lord.”

“Six minutes, you say… How many will we lose?”

“All of them.”

“I see… Very well. See to it, that the proxy meets me in my throne room.”

“Consider it done, father.”

With that, King Priam vanished, seemingly returning to his throne room. As for the mages, they spent the next six minutes invoking a chain of chants. After which, they all keeled over and died. Following that, the maid pulled out an ominous golden trumpet from her cloths.

With a single blow, the room not only trembled but the magic circle began to glow a brilliant white. A powerful cloud of smoke soon erupted from the magic circle and stepping through it was a man wearing a dark cloak. You couldn’t make out any features, so the only memorable thing was the unsettling image of an eye on the back of his cloak.

Rather than speaking, the cloaked figure inscribed characters in the air. That was their preferred form of communication.

“Are you the one who will take me to the king?”

“Yes, I am. Please give me your hand.”

On the most western continent you will find the Trojan Empire, a massive domain that spans over several kingdoms. Such prosperity is all thanks to their victory during the last Trojan War. And such a feat is all thanks to King Priam’s contract with God. Some say he is the greatest king in all of history.

It is this great man that is currently twiddling his thumbs as he ponders on his empire’s future. I’d say his hair was turning grey from the stress, but his beard was already as white as could be. He has spent many years planning for this moment. But even still, he is well aware of his current predicament. Was it enough? Did he put enough preparation into it? Had he truly done all that he could? If so, can they hope to win? These are the questions weighing on his mind.

“My lord. I have brought the proxy. May I enter?” A sweet voice asked behind the room’s entrance.

“You may.”

The massive double doors opened, and an air of foreboding seeped into the room. With a single glance at the figure standing beside the maid he could tell right away. This was bad, really bad.

“I was expecting Hermes, but if you’ve come personally then the situation must be even worse than I thought… Apollo.”

The maid returned the golden trumpet to the shelf beside the king’s throne and quickly made herself scarce.

“Tell me, Apollo. How dire is our situation?”

“The AntiGod has already gathered two of the seven sinners. No, make that three. But worse than that, his potential is even higher than it was in the first world. I fear, the moment he checks out his story, none of us will have the power to stop him.”

“You mean even the Olympians will be powerless before his might? How is that possible? He is only human, is he not?”

“He is of human blood, yes. But do remember, he is still the reincarnation of God. Not to mention the fact that he has two guardian angels watching over him.”

“Dammit. Then is it already over? Are we to just accept our fates? Simply watch as the world is destroyed?!”

King Priam clenched his fist, desperately trying not to bite his lip in frustration.

“…Is there really nothing we can do…?”

“There is.”

“What?”

“There is a way to stop him. As you know, a week from now I will transport him to this kingdom. Once that happens, I will keep him in a near death-like state. While he’s in that state, his yang barrier will slowly begin to chip away. Use that time to bring him to the kingdom of Tang.”

“Tang, you say…?”

“Yes. I’ve already made the necessary preparations. If all goes as planned, he will end up destroying himself.”

“As much as I’d love to hear about these preparations, I doubt I could even begin to comprehend them… Should I have one of my maids send him to Tang themselves?”

“That will do just fine… I will relay the plan with the other Olympians. Well, except for Hector and Paris. I assume you understand why?”

“Naturally. They are still newly made Olympians. Besides, if Hector caught wind of such a plan, he would insist on fighting the AntiGod himself. That boy is convinced he’s the strongest there is.”

“Precisely. But just in case, keep Hector stationed at Crete. A war is coming, and I’d prefer it if someone as powerful as he doesn’t interfere… After all, we need to lose this war. This one at least… Well, I believe that is all. I will be taking my leave now.”

“One moment, Apollo! …I know I’m being overly cautious, but I simply have to know. Please tell me, you have a plan in the unlikely event that wretched man makes a move.”

“If you are referring to King Arthur, then I’m sorry. A plan that could stop that man simply doesn’t exist. Honestly, it’s more like it can’t exist. It’s as if the rules of this world bends to his whims… In the unlikely event that he chooses to make a move… This empire will be utterly annihilated.”
