--- Three weeks after Hayden begun waiting ---
"Sir! The reinforcements are arriving! The M19 is also coming!" One of my soldiers on the wall shouts out.
(Yes! Yes! Finally! Three weeks of waiting and they're finally here.)
"Get the convoy ready! Once they have arrived, we are immediatly heading out after letting them rest enough! So, make sure everything is ready for departure!" I shout orders and one of the castle guardsmen opens the gate for my reinforcements.
A few minutes after the gates are open, about ten bushmasters and humvees come through and three M19's as well.
"Hmm... Set the convoy up! Put one M19 near the front, one in the middle and one near the back!" I try to position the M19's so they aren't bunched up.
I let the reinforcements rest for about five hours while I go through the reports Landar sent me.
--- Five hours later ---
"Get ready to depart! We're going to try to hit their main army from afar and force them back to that island they came from!" I, once more, shout orders as I get in my helicopter which has been refilled and then I take off.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
I lead the convoy straight towards the enemy who are positioned near a dock, in defensive positions.
(The reports from the castle scouts say they do this every time their reinforcements are arriving.)
I signal the convoy to ride up to the hills and also take defensive positions since we have better range and they also have to run up a pretty steep hill.
The M19's are kept a little bit back from the main force but not too far.
"We wait for them to come to us. Our bullets could hit them at this range but we'd just help them build a wall of corpses. They also have to attack us if they want to do anything since no matter which direction they go, we get there faster. So... Prepeare for a siege-like waiting period." I give orders and tips to my soldiers which are relayed all across my small, efficient army.
--- The Enemy Army, third-person POV ---
"Commander! There's something weird on the hill! It's like... Crates and boxes! But big ones!" A soldier gives a report to one of his commanders.
"Send a few squads to deal with it! We wait for reinforcements!" The commander shouts out and throws a goblet at the soldier but misses.
The soldier immediatly leaves the commanders tent.
"Do you think the reinforcements will ever arrive... They are quite late..." Another soldier says to the one who just left the tent.
"No... I heard that Evrik might be here... Evrik the Crimson... One of our small patrol vessels saw one of Evrik's boats. The patrol immediatly beached themselves and ran towards here." The soldier says with a look of despair.
Then the soldier goes to give out the orders the commander gave him.
