Chapter 22: A Wonderful Pair

“This is going to be the last time.”

It was night again. This marked the second night in a row that Gray and Miss. Ravana both went hunting together.

“The last time for what?” Gray demanded of Miss Ravana.

“The last time you go looking for monsters. On your own and with me both. This is too dangerous for someone like you.”

“Someone like me? What are you saying?” he asked her.

“You are not like me. We are not the same. You are a young man. There is so much waiting for you, ahead of you, in your life.”

“That doesn’t work like that, Miss. Ravana. I’ve made up my mind. I’ve made my choice. I came all the way here to Point Pleasure because I saw you in my dreams. You were calling me. This is no mistake. Then, last night, we went into the cave, I was able to defend myself and defeat the rock monster. And I did it again today. For good. I can hold my own. I won’t slow you down. I promise.”

“You sure are the persistent kind…” She admitted, smiling.

“And you have seen nothing yet,” he smiled back at her.

“Fine. You can come all the way to the end of the night with me. But after tonight, we are done, and you leave Point Pleasure. Understood? I really want to make myself clear on that front. There is nothing for you here in this town. After tonight, you get out of here, and you try to go ahead and live a nice life. Can you promise this to me?” The dark and gorgeous Ravana wished to be clear with him.

“I can’t promise anything like this. I’ve got nothing else left in my life. Point Pleasure was my last option. Always,” he told her.

“Then, you are a fool. You shouldn’t be here,” she replied to him as the two made it back to the locally famous TNT area in Point Pleasure. They made it back to the field, where the crater was. The two scouted the area, searching for any trace of The Mohan after Gray was made aware of his presence earlier today during the battle with the golem. The crescent moon shined bright in the dark sky tonight.

“Looks like you really did a number on the guardian who attacked you for the second time,” she told him as she found the dusty remains of the golem. They were right here, scattered across the field.

“Told you I could hold my own,” he told her, smiling and winking at him, which made her smile in return, as well. Then, the two continued investigating the field until they were brought into a more wooden area. Miss. Ravana was following some kind of trace. She was seen sniffing a lot by Gray. She was onto something.

Is she tracking something through scents? Like a dog? That is so… Interesting… The young man thought to himself. That strange thing she did aside, Gray could also definitely sense that there was something weird, lurking in the dark woods. They weren’t alone. That was a certainty. There was something else with them here.

“Are you sensing something, Miss. Ravana?” He asked her. But she didn’t take the time to answer him. She simply went ahead and continued tracking some kind of predetermined path in the woods. Gray followed her closely. He wasn’t a total pervert or anything like that, but he was deeply enjoying the fact that he could follow her at the same time as he watched her perfectly rounded and large ass. Moving and jiggling around as she made her way into the woods. This was a pleasant view to say the least. A gorgeous one.

“Fine. You don’t have to answer me on that, mystery girl. But there is one thing I really want to know. What is the thing you collected from the rock monster’s body last night in the cave? You never told me what it was, and you never wanted to show me either.”

“It’s not of your concern because after tonight, we are done. After tonight, you will be done, and you will leave this cursed land.”

“Then, if it truly is over after tonight, you don’t think it’ll be fitting for you to give me some kind of: ‘Goodbye’ gift?” He asked.

“...” She suddenly stopped as soon as she heard him say this. Her back was still facing him. And her huge and bountiful ass, too. “What did you have in mind?” She asked him without even looking at him. Her tone was serious, cold, and dark. However, she did take the time to place the palms of her hands over her large and wide hips. This yellow, star outfit she often wore fit her so well, he thought.

“And then, you promise you are going to leave Point Pleasure after tonight if I give you this gift?” She seductively demanded of him.

“If you truly think this would be better for me to leave this town, then, yes, that’s exactly what I will do,” he nodded, accepting.
