5th Try: Daisy Fairies are not Tyrants...

I clapped my little hands and waved and flew about a bit, until my father caught me and made me sit down in his lap.

"You are a noble Guardian, little one." He pointed out gently. "Other races are split by language and weak. They do not have any favor in the eyes of the gods, not like the Daisy Fairies. And among the Daisy Fairies we are a special existence. We were created to rule and protect this world and punish all sinners."

Well it was nice that he was teaching me, but...what the heck? Born to rule?

"Your mother and I made the traditional journey to the great Tree and were granted the heir we wished for. And that was you!" With a smile he put his index finger on my nose, but I wasn't in the mood to be playful. "The great goddess gave you the power to rule, my child, so that you would make our empire greater than it ever has been." He kept talking nonsense. I mean...he couldn be serious! Could he? Because that kind of wasn't the plan...

I quickly checked his stats. He was only level 15, pitiful if you consider how easy it was to level up for Daisy Fairies. There wasn't even a level cap.

His agility, endurance, strength and everything else were still absurd. I checked my mother. She...was level 2? Even I was level five even though I'd only played around flying through the forest and crappling with the tiger!

This...kind of reminded me of my first world...

But they were doing stuff. They were kind, so they were surely wise rulers and the other races bowed to them because they wished for their protection. So what else could Daisy Fairies do except grant that wish?

Of course it was like that. Obviously. I kind of hoped so...

I looked around and saw the cheering crowds and the hope in people's eyes. Yep, they were wise rulers!

Finally we had crossed the city and arrived at the castle. It consisted of trees grown in various shapes and braided twigs and vines, bushes and many other plants as well as furs and carpets. Lots of fur. And statues made of bone depicting dancing Fairies everywhere! There were paintings of bowing humans and mist people, of Treelings serving the tiny Fairies, of Daisies and Daisy Fairies. It was stunning up close.

Getting reincarnated in your own world is amazing! Paradise!

During our tour through the palace we eventually entered what looked like a mini arena. There were two humans in there, both with levels over 100! Even though they were still young, maybe 25 years old. They must have trained a lot because their skill levels were great too.

As I watched with wide eyes my father ruffled my petals and then jumped into the ring to blast both of them away with the wind pressure of a single punch from his tiny fist.

The humans looked furious and helpless at the same time, enough that I felt kind of sorry for them. There he was, a great Guardian, blasting them away without any training...

Which....might not have been very fair...come to think of it...

I looked at father accusingly, but he just laughed. "They're just Daisy crushing criminals on death row." He said with an encouraging smile. As if that made sense. So....maybe Daisy Fairies are tyrants after all? To Daisy crushing sinners...

Slowly I realized that I might possibly have made a tiny little mistake. Again.

"It's the first law of the empire! Any Daisy crushing fiend deserves death since there might be a Fairy in that Daisy's seeds. And any race that has ever shown hints of endangering fairies must be tightly controlled, to ensure the safety of the Daisies."

Damn it. I made Nazi Fairies!
