I awoke slowly, it was a super weird feeling, whereas before it was like I was kinda in my own body and could only focus on one, or maybe two, areas it felt like l was both everywhere and nowhere at the same time it felt, oddly enough, natural. After a few minutes the system broke into my thoughts
The system understands that the user has to get used to his new perspective of the world but the system has to warn the user.
'Oh? About what?' I said feeling confused but still somewhat relieved for apparently being saved from death by the system. The answer I got from the system put me on edge immediately
Just that a large scale force is going to be coming to destroy your dungeon and then the leader of said group is going to enslave you to them self.
'…WHAT!' I mentally shouted in fear.
The system would like to notify the user that he only has seven days till the enemy arrives.
Welp, that’s not good. In any case it is good to know that the system has an arrival date, so… now what, besides resetting everything up.
Quests added: The First Of Many, Avenging What’s Sacred, Humbling the Proud, The Invasion Plan, The System’s Source, Hero or Villain?.
So I have quests now, the last one drawing my eye first but I decided to go in order and save the one with a question mark for last.
The First Of Many: ⛓chain quest⛓ the system has noticed both your plan, and your disability, so the system has set this quest to both notify you about your problems and how to rectify them.
Current objectives:
* devour the fairy dungeon core who holds your ability to grant classes to the masses in whole or in part
* Stay tuned
Avenging what is Sacred: (Linked to: The First of Many, Humbling The Proud, The Invasion Plan), The Human Civilization has violated a sacred trust; the core has basically enslaved those it swore to protect, including the Dungeon Master that was a you need to teach it a lesson and administer justice and free the slaves
Humbling the Proud: the Civilization Core of the human race, in its infinite Hubris, has decided to enslave you as well as self exalting itself as a deity, teach it that it was never worthy of that honor.
The invasion plan: the Civilization Core is going to invade your dungeon, get your preparations in order in order to stave off their attack and make your plans for a counterattack.
The System’s Source: the system has noticed that despite it using the mana you have to give itself more efficiency it still is using up way too much of your energy, so the system has given you the task of giving it a way to get it’s energy so that it does not have to rely on you and on your subordinates (other dungeon cores).
I see… so now onto the one that drew my attention
Hero or Villain?: The user has two very different paths before him, and the user can only choose one, the path of the hero who saves all those in need, who listens before he passes judgement, or the villain who takes what they want.
* To be the Hero:
* Save the all the shard core’s personalities from the devouring that you have to do to get the shards that you require to get (0/9)
* Change the Drowsy Dungeon core’s tragic fate (0/1)
* Survive the tribulation of a good god (0/1)
* To be the villain:
* Devour them all
* Survive the fall to evil god (0/1)
So… it appears that I have to strike out on my own then.
Query?
I’m sorry system but I refuse the last quest, I am not a hero or villain, I am a neutral kind of person who gives as good as he gets; invade my turf with the intent to harm me or my allies/friends, yeah good luck with that. Someone seeks me for pretty much anything else that isn’t malicious in nature, sure, go ahead i don’t care. In other words, being the hero or villain does not appeal to me, nor is it in my plans to do so.
The system shall keep that in mind User 0.
However it should be noted that the other quests are necessary
Also one of the dungeon cores under your control has successfully evolved a new trait. (Bring the subject out? Y/N)
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Yeah I guess, and so selected ‘Y’ not really expecting anything too incredible, but I was wrong when I saw what the system said.
Subject is in Decoy Core number 2 thus system has removed it and placed it before you, however in doing so it destroyed Decoy Core number 2.
The system has noted that this type of dungeon core has not been seen/invented before, thus making it a new type, and since it was in your realm you can name it.
First let me see what it’s abilities and titles are and then we can proceed from there, the system answered in the affirmative and two seconds later the screen popped up.

Myriad Uses Energy; (desc.), Subtle Switch; (desc.),
Naturally, due to the fact that it had so many bad things, I decided to call it Apocalypse Now Dungeon core. The system then asked me what to name the unidentified energy, well I called it Apocalypse Essence (A/N: before you ask: no Myriad Uses Energy is not the unidentified energy is not the ).
Once that was over I decided to devour it, I was not going to eat him originally but then I read what the [A Diseased Wasteland] skill did.
A Diseased Wasteland: A active skill, allows the user to generate a biological plague (costs will vary depending on the attributes and abilities of the disease)
Needless to say, this core gave me some ideas for the invasion plan. So I ate it, but that does leave me with the problem of saving the Shard core I have already captured, as I told the system before, I am neutral unless provoked. So I brought the other core out to talk to him.
“Hello,” I said. “Just out of curiosity what kind of creatures do you spawn in?”
“What?” he said.
“Nevermind, you probably only could spawn in Fairies and Plants.”
“Oh, well first of all where are we?”
“Oh right I forgot to get the pebble out, and to answer your question you are in my core room.”
“Why did you summon me into your core room? You do know that I could attack you and you wouldn’t be able to stop me in time before you die.“
I summoned my smokey tendrils on my core’s surface. “And you do know that I could either eat you with these or since you are my subject I could devour you: mind, body and soul before you could even put that plan into motion because i can see your thoughts right?”
Before he could respond i continued, “Don’t get me wrong i don’t feel the need to kill you, but if you threaten my wellbeing you should be aware of the consequences for your action, for you at best you would have a kamikaze’s death with only major injuries from me to show for it; but for me it would be pretty easy to get rid of you before you even know it. All in all, a pretty senseless death if you ask me. Also it is a symbol of my belief that you won't hurt me.”
We were both silent for a few moments, I could feel the sense of confusion turning into shock and fear. I called my mana up and shaped it into the shape of a core and turned it into a nature dungeon core and then i felt it kinda make a click sound like it fell into place, but i made it without a mind or memories but left it with a place for the other dungeon core’s mind where it’s mind would normally be, when i realized i had no clue how to put the conquered Dungeon Core’s mind in there, so i asked the system and got this;
System’s answer: due to both cores being your subjects you are able to order them to obey your commands, to do a command phrase it like an order.
“Do you have a name?” I asked the core who was still sitting in stunned silence, he had watched me create another dungeon core but jerked back to awareness
“No, why?” he said.
I chuckled and said; “Oh no reason, anyway I order you to have your mind and creatures to go into the other dungeon core.” As soon as I said it I felt a small drain on my mana supplies and saw a beam of light bridge from the conquered core and the newly made one. After a few seconds the beam of light shattered, “Hello?”
“Yeah?” said the new core.
I then ate the shard core, it… tasted both like raspberries and cranberries, as well as pears and grapes.
*Ding* Classes/Rules Shard Nature Core Assimilated; Titles(s): The Grand Class Giver, Rule Maker gained. Abilities: Rule Weave manipulation, Class Giver, Class instructor maker, Nature’s Wrath, Nature's reclamation,
I felt odd, like I was being suppressed and then I felt a draining on my MP then heard another system announcement happened.
Due to interference from an outside force that together the system, the user’s actions, and the ability [Donovan’s Luck] had to purge; the Fay affinity has been re-upgraded to Maximum Fay Affinity; therefore the dungeon core has regained it’s true awakening, as such: Tir Na Nog Core Assimilated: Title(s): Beautiful lands, Sacred Haven gained. Abilities: Haven Maker, Mystic Oases, Clear water. Sky high, and Serenity gained.
Sigh… well, can't say I'm surprised. They can't all be super powerful (at least i think it isn't powerful). I stopped wondering about that.
