Chapter 1: Mistakes discussed and Setup Ark’s Start.

Well darn, internally I shook my head and I ran through and remembered what we discussed or at the least the main points of the conversation because I am pressed for time but basically it boils down to: the universe got well and truly bored so it looked around to the multiple dimensions within itself and noticed a somewhat disturbing trend; there were living dungeons with their cores but nothing that says conclusively where/what they are nor how or why they function or behave the way they do. When I asked why that bothered the universe so the universe basically said this (A/N: it is going to be in a replication of the theater lines format (look it up)):

Universe’s will:    Universes such as myself are storytellers boy; it is why we make you; so that we have a great story to tell, all Universe’s strive to make the best story they can. All universes abhor true chaos and love to make things as reasonable as possible while remaking and remoulding continuity so that the stories have their own unique flair; thus when a Universe such as myself sees all these dungeons and their hearts, or cores as you may call them, it becomes like an itch one cannot scratch but would sorely like to.

Me:    So basically the plothole of how they came to be, the thing that ties it all together is not there and it is basically heresy in your eyes?”

Universe’s will, thinks for a bit and then replies:    If you wish to put it in those very plain and dull terms, yes that is basically it.

Me:    So… why do you need me? I mean it doesn’t make sense why can’t you just fix it yourself?

Universe’s will, miffed:    Do you think I have not tried?! All my past efforts have either been too weak, too fragile, had some defects, would take so long to form their own minds that I would have died out of sheer annoyance before they had gotten past the baby phase of their minds,

Me:    Ok so now you want me to do what?

Universe’s will, becoming serious:    Become an official dungeon core; the true progenitor, or god of them to help make them, as you modern humans put it, canon (A/N: yes I used that word no I will not use another) but also spin your own tale and incorporate your own reasons, your own powers to help build the stories and make them great or greater than those. But be warned, I will only be able to keep you and your dimension from the eyes of the worlds, you will be shaping yours for a period of five years as I have made standard among them now go, your time already is growing short, go and decide what you shall do.

As he said those last words of advice he teleported me to where I am now an island made  about six feet in diameter in the middle of a nowhere ocean where there is no sun or moon and the sky is purple and there is like three clouds in the sky which is seemingly made of dust, as for my current form I am a small orb like purple galaxy marble. At last after long pensive thought about what to do I said: “Status.” of course nothing happened. I then I poured out a little energy onto the sand and absorbed it I then decided on my course of action I shaped some of the ether to give me a system, one that functions and modifies itself to the user in particular then I looked at my status:

Self-Updating Morphing/Moulding System Active

Status: Healthy (concerned)

Name: Michael Alex

Title(s): Infinite Mana; (desc.), Official Dungeon Core; (desc.).

Species: Infant Infinetem Dungeon Core of True Legends (incomplete) (desc.)

Tier: 0 Rank 1

Mana type: N/A

Dungeon type: N/A

Mana capacity: 19999/semi-infinite, (desc.).

DP: 0 (2/month)

Ability: Infinite Mana; (desc.), Ultimate Mana/Ether Shaping and Manipulation; (desc.), Material Absorption; (desc.), Shaping Rules; (desc.), Contain Substance; (desc.), Energy Aura; (desc.), Concentration; (desc.), Generation; (desc.).

So… that worked, however it sounded quite monotone; so I decided to basically add a sense of humor and a bit more personality to it. However as I considered the words the universe told me, about time growing short, I immediately decided to put it on my to do list closely after figuring out what semi-infinite mana capacity meant, or the incomplete on my species; which I am sure is not supposed to happen, and of course my title and abilities I decided to look at the incomplete on my species first.

Species: Infant Infinetem Dungeon Core of True Legends (incomplete); Description: a very young dungeon core with godly potential running throughout it. However, due to the fact that it hasn’t made it’s core room it can be considered not a complete dungeon core, giving the ability infinite mana. (A/N: hence the incomplete).

Well that answered that, onto the next thing on my ‘to inspect’ list:

Mana capacity: 19999/semi-infinite, Description: Passive Mana and Ether Regeneration: 21 mana per hour / 5 ether regeneration, due to the fact that the user has not yet established his dungeon the mana capacity as well as the passive regeneration is heavily handycapped, Active mana and ether regeneration available as well.

Well that makes sense, if I am not complete that also means I am having some sort of problem, well onwards we go.

Official Dungeon Core; Description: due to accepting what the Universe wants you to do you have become a official dungeon core, as such you are unusually potent power-wise even at your age as such you have a few unique abilities and you can spawn lesser versions of your race as well as ridiculously rare and dangerous monster/ at a greatly reduced price also you gain the abilities: Contain substance, Shaping rules, Concentration, Energy Aura, and Generation. Also due to the fact of how you got this title, all titles are nonrefundable.

What?!? That is OP! But I still don't know what the skills do so I contain my excitement and quickly look at their descriptions.

Ultimate Mana/Ether Shaping and Manipulation Description: with this technique you can shape %^&*##*#%^%^&%^*%#^##^&%^%*$%”>>”?:EQ$>%@?A.

The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

What, what just happened; why is the text glitching? I checked the next one on my list

Material Absorption Description: this technique allows yTFSDFVJRE$%^&%$I&RE#$^&IUYI&IKUUY%^U%TU*U%%%YRT$W%Y^U&IKUT%Y^UI&*(*OT4t%RegxcvkyE45686o9;;/’[][Rrt5a68E965R$#%#^#^&

Okay, do not panic, this is NOT supposed to happen. Quick onto the next one!

Shaping Rules Description:17251y3tujnfjr9oim3k54aiuw4389u51345W4IW O3M45IU0982 U34 UHAWWA3 QAWQ3 p4wni owerb

Umm… *hesitantly moves onto the Next one*

Contain Substance

Seriously, what is going on?!? That one didn’t even have a description! In a fit of desperation i called out to the universe,

Me, nervous:    Hey uh… Universe what is going on?

Universe, very surprised:    What are you doing here? I could have sworn I sent you to the- oh nevermind anyway i was about to send this world’s failed core to the world where i thought you were so yeah.

Me:    What makes the core I'm inhabiting a failure?

Universe:    Well for starters it is a mixture between the last two defects i mentioned, the mind’s development was so far behind that comparing it to a bad case of autism (A/N: I am autistic too and I don, I have Asperger's syndrome with Echolalia, look it up if you don’t know what echolalia is), also the core you are inhabiting has the defect of being unable to make it’s core room.

Me, surprised then curious:    Oh… well that’s not good, where was i supposed to end up anyway?

Universe, mildly infuriated:    Well not here for starters! You were supposed to be a core in the middle of a glacial valley that has turned into a jungle due to erosion, druidic magic, and giants and then inhabited by thieves.

Me:    That… sounds nice?

Universe:    You sound less than thrilled.

Me:    Well I was thinking of making my own story, however I suppose that also makes sense, after all, I need a starting place.

Universe, mildly curious:    What do you intend to do?

What then ensued according to the worlds they say, several crazy schemes that kinda worked were plotted that day. (A/N: I will not ruin the surprise).

Universe, pondering then responding rather excitedly:    That could work; in fact, it covers all the both of our objectives quite nicely, but back to the situation at hand.

Me:    Yeah… but, forgive me for going a bit off topic but why did you forgo your somewhat verbose and… what was the word I'm looking for?

Universe, sighing then talking:    sesquipedalian?

Me, mentally raising an eyebrow:    And that means?

Universe, somehow doing a facepalm:    It's basically a synonym for long winded with the intention of sounding smart.

Me:    Yeah, that.

Universe:    To make myself clear, it was to make conversing with you easier.

Me:    Okay so back to the matter at hand, how do I go to that world.

Universe:    Well you have to die again.

Me:    ... Is there any other way?

Universe:    No, I am afraid not. But this time I shall personally send you into that core which I actually prepared for you, to prevent any mishaps for you again.

Me:    By the way, did you fully erase the system I made? Because it might not be in our best interests to give the surprise away.

Universe, curious:    No I didn't, let me take a look.

After that they said that (A/N: it just doesn’t make sense for me to make a Universe a boy or a girl), they went silent for a while and while I was waiting for their response and was a bit bored, until they finally responded.

Universe:    You were not lying, it was for the best that you did tell me, I guess I should add another disability to the short list of your core’s disabilities; inability to make a truly functional system.

Me, confused:    What was wrong with it?

Universe:    Well for starters if attached to a mortal it drains ten years off his life per week, furthermore if attached to a divine being it would slowly strip away their divinity. Don't worry though I already destroyed and erased it also, for some reason though, it just drains two mana per fourteen hours if it's connected to a dungeon core, although there is also the chance that it might drain more the older or stronger you get.

Me:    It’s good you destroyed it then, so now that has been done, time for my transfer.

Universe:    Yes it is.

And with that I felt like I was stunned and then it all went black.

(A/N: if you're reading this on any other site than Royal Road it has been pirated (sorry it's just to relieve my Anxiety a bit)).

---

I woke back up and found myself back in that weird plane of existence where I first met the universe, and I was confused as to why I am here, this weird place; the universe sensed my confusion and responded.

Universe:    I forgot to tell you there is a limit I and the other gods made for me.

Me, suspicious:    Why and what is it?

Universe:    Well, I accidentally made a Soul implode strong enough to somehow merged two Dimensions together

Me:    ...I’m afraid to ask but which ones.

Universe, in a semi-singsong voice:    That isn’t important right now, infact transfer time.

As he said then, came darkness (A/N: my old friend. XD always wanted to do that reference).
