And the world go round, round and round.
DAAAAAAMN, I don't know what's weirder, this lizard going all Rammus style out of nowhere or me not getting dizzy with all of that. I don't think it was well thought out, even if it looks cool as hell, like, it's amazing to spin and become a death ball of poison, but is it good when you lose your sight and sense of direction?
Since I can't see anything, therefore I trade it for the other senses that are smell or sound, I can't handle more than one at a time, but both of them work better than eyesight and that explains a lot. This place is not really bright, its like a forest of red trees, inside a big cage of rocks, or a cave if you will. I'd call it death's dome really, all there is here is nothing more than monsters killing, mauling, dismembering or straight up butchering each other 24/7 nonstop.
So, back to the fighting, I dont know what's happening and I don't think Yoshi here does either, he's just spinning around aimlessly. Yeah, great time to test a new fighting style, against a middle boss variant, NOICE.
We end up running away unintentionally by spinning straight ahead, which somehow results in a few casualties along the way. The very first traffic accidents this world ever experienced, how tragic.
Congratulations, you have reached level 5! At this level you may choose a path of evolution! Pick carefully.
Oh sweet parasitization, my time finally came too! Show me da goods!
2.1 Intentis Comedentis - pupal stage (Anathema) +30 thoughness The embryonic stage is finished as the organism cells start proliferating enough to form a pupa inside the host which will quickly drain it of all biomass and nutrients until its cocoon is fully formed. This evolution path shall result in the host death, the host, however, shall directly influence the resulting adult stage.
2.2 Core Infestor (Anathema) +10 cunning, +20 will Because of the micro sized body of the Anathema's family line it becomes impossible to produce a viable core, to bypass such limits the Intentis Comedentis may parasitise the host's core by hijacking its complex neuron pathways.

Oh my, such nice and civilized options, become a xenomorph wannabe or go down the line on the parasite way of life. Beautiful, superb!
Actually I cant even be surprised, what would I expect, Pikachu becoming Gyaradus?
So… which to pick? I'm not comfortable with these options either, and I don't know the outcome at all. Will I become some kind of a bodysnatcher going with becoming a pupa stage? God and all of that sounds so messy, urgh… my other possibility lets me tap on the resource recently acquired by my ride here, whatever this core is its probable referring to that spherical thing that formed inside it.
The tooltip is explaining that because i'm too tiny I cant form a core, huh. Well, I didn't fancy myself the tallest lad around but MAH GOD, microscopic?! You mean Im so small that I can't be seen by the naked eye? What am I? Salmonella monster?
Goddammit! Am I even multicellular? How can this work? How can I have such a sophisticated train of thoughts being a microorganism?!
I NEED to know more of this world and ASAP. I will píck this Core infestor option, its not that bad and Yoshi here doesn't deserve to be xenomorphed from inside out.
And then it happened for the first time, right after I picked my evolution I went limp, it wasn't sleep, my body wasn't developed enough to even have such functionality, so I just stood motionless while I felt my body change.
What happened was, what I thought would be closer, to a tree having its roots growing. Such a weird feeling! Oh and my "roots'' connected with something straight away when they had contact.
Host's neural network found.
Attempting connection…

…
Connection established.
The following information is available:
Core status: common
Mana available: 10/10]
Oh so my I have access to my hosts mana now, can I make some magic then? Do I need skills or spells?
Do you want to learn the Connected Cortex skill?
Connected Cortex ( Anathema ) The user may connect to the host's brain and have access to an organ that otherwise would not be possible due to biological limitations of its species. This connection allows the user to fully utilize whatever skill the user holds as long the connection holds stable. As a side effect the user may be fully able to communicate with the host.
The skill list lets me buy a few things, yet NONE lets me do things by myself. You see, I've become a Core Infestor, so I became quite dependant of my host on what it decides about its own core, which means, THIS DAMN LIZARD HAS TO LEARN HOW TO DO MAGIC FOR ME TO LEARN AS WELL!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe it! I should have picked the one that killed it and who knows what happened next. Now I literally became a cerebral parasite that feeds not only on biomass or leech xp, but skills too. Goddammit I might as well become one of this stupid lizard organs at this point.
