Aditya closed his eyes as he activated the 'Filtering' ability. This was the very same ability which he had used the night he rescued Hamsa. At that time he was able to hear the conversation between Hamsa and Reyansh by filtering out the noises of traffic, other people and even the pitter-patter sounds of the rain.
With the 'Cellular Regulation' ability of Aditya, just like his strength, Aditya's sense organs' capabilities were also enhanced to the limit. So, with Aditya's current capability he could even hear the heartbeats of people within the radius of 10m if he desired so. Just like the previous time, the noises from all the surroundings vanished one by one until there was total silence. At this moment, Aditya's pupils shrunk by a small amount as he started hearing not just one beat but two beats.
Aditya had studied medical knowledge under the tutelage of Tya who could visually show every part of his body and correlate with the contemporary medical knowledge, sometimes even improvising on it. So, just from hearing these heartbeats and observing the rate, speed and force at which these hearts were contracting and relaxing, Aditya could confirm that there were two adults in his room, one was a young, healthy, adult female while the other adult was a man but his heart rate was lower than the normal. As the heart rate was erratic and not uniform, Aditya confirmed that the person was unconscious instead of sleeping.
Aditya was preparing to see if he could deduce anything else from the surroundings before making a decision on his action. But just then, a voice which was very dear to him sounded from inside, "Adi, come inside, why are you standing outside for so long? it's just me."
All the detective work was immediately thrown out of the window as Aditya pushed the door to see a stunning woman smiling at him as she looked at him with affection in her lotus eyes. Aditya also smiled as he rushed towards that woman and hugged her tightly. This person was Saira, the eldest among the three siblings who was completely normal unlike the other.
Saira was dressed in a beige coloured solid duster jacket with a spread collar and a straight hem. Inside, she wore a black T-shirt and a pair of dark jeans. Her long, straight and silky hair was tied into a ponytail as always. She was quite tall, almost as tall as Saanvi but Aditya had grown a lot in the past month and was the same height as her now.
Saira did not say anything as she also looked at her younger brother who seemed to have changed completely. The air of playfulness and constant excitement around him had been replaced by stability and hidden vigour. For any normal person who might not see a drop of blood in their lifetime, Aditya would seem the same to them as if he had not changed. but for Saira who lived battling in life and death situations, Aditya felt like a sheathed sword. She felt a potent aura around Aditya from the intuition developed from all these years of fighting.
Though physically he was not different from before except for growing a few inches, his eyes told quite a different story of how much he had transformed in these past few months. She felt gratified as she wanted his younger brother to become exactly how he was now, but at the same time, her heart quivered when she imagined the pain that was required to make this change possible. She knew that one could not easily develop this kind of aura around them.

She remembered how this child was the apple of the eye of the two families and after Maahi came, she also made this kid an important part of her life. Aditya had grown under the watchful and doting gazes of everyone around him which made him very softhearted and sensitive.
It did not mean that he was pampered and spoiled. It was not possible to pamper him under the watchful eyes of his mother who took Aditya's evolving perspective of life and society very seriously. Everyone liked him including his friends because Aditya, even when he was just a kid, possessed very high emotional intelligence. He could always accurately perceive the opposite person's mood and act accordingly.
This would have made him a successful member in a stable society but if Aditya did not change, Saira felt that he would face many challenges in 'this' world and might even be wiped out in the coming chaotic times.
This was the reason that Saira did not stop him from mingling in the underworld. She wanted him to meet as many people as possible who were from different backgrounds so that he could know the dark side of the society as well. She even convinced both her father and Maahi who wanted nothing but to catch Aditya and throw him in a school. But, soon, Saira noticed that Aditya was becoming a mystery even to her as the people whom she assigned to have him followed and protected said that Aditya would spend three days in a week closed up in his newly bought apartment.
Adding to the fact that she had failed to capture the person who was targeting Aditya, Saira felt that it was time for having a good talk with Aditya. She felt that it was high time that Aditya knew about some things as he was capable of making his own decisions.
Aditya felt at peace when he hugged his elder sister. She had been his role model since he had known the meaning of the term 'Role-model'. Saira was dutiful, responsible and had a mature way of thinking which outmatched her age. Aditya attributed this aspect of his elder sister to the fact that she had to spend a lot of time alone as her mother had deceased very early and her father was very busy in performing his police duties. This kept him very busy as everyone knew that this country was severely understaffed in regards to police.
There were only 144 police personal for every 100,000 people. So if a police officer chose to be responsible to everyone who came asking for help, he would probably be the busiest person as this job was not your typical 9 am-5 pm job. Uncle Ramu was precisely this person, he would not tolerate any form of injustice in his purview and jurisdiction which forced him to sacrifice his family life.
Though Saira elder sister started spending a lot of time in Aditya's home since he was a kid, she was already more than ten years at that time. So, Saira was already accustomed to taking care of herself and doing most of her work without even the help of nannies.
Aditya remembered that she was a very calm person and he would always feel secure when he was with her. Also, she was the only one who could keep elder sister Maahi in check. A child growing in this type of environment had an easy choice to start hating her father and the system but Saira was one of those rare kinds who not only blamed her father but, instead, started supporting him.
By the age of fifteen, Saira was already the best performing member in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) (similar to American Cadet Alliance). At the same time, she was a topper in her class and was also able to do all the house chores by herself without the need of a maid. She would even cook lunch for her father as at that time Uncle Ramu was suffering from peptic ulcers. Uncle Ramu had a weak digestive system because of years of eating outside food as he was on duty most of the time, which ultimately culminated in all kinds of digestive disorders.
The rest need not be explained, Saira went directly into the army from NCC and she never told anyone about her job in the military. Aditya only knew that she trained for a few years in Israel before she came back a year ago.
