Chapter 12: What?

Chapter 11: What?

“You… forget it. No, not teleportation ok?” Kane said

“Eh, yeah, it isn’t that cool I guess. Or necessary, actually. We moved to japan, so it’s not America’s public transportation we have to deal with anymore.” Said Evan, pondering it. “It’s not that. It’s the way I’m assuming you want to make the teleporter. That’s not a machine I can make safer that easily.” Kane said, shaking his head and shrugging his shoulders

“Oh, true.” Said Evan

“Yeah, well, I finished that thing that I was working on earlier that you gave me the schems for. It’s in the third room.” Said Kane

“Oh? Ohh? Ooooh? Aha! Yes! Perfect! Kane, come with me.” Said Evan, dragging Kane away, his coffee spilling everywhere

“What kinda? Um. No, I’d rather not watch the people I love and care for get old and die.” Said Kane

“Damnit, this always happens. Fine, they are immortal too.” Said Evan

“Even then… I’m not sure.” Kane said

“Fine, lets just leave that machine there for now I guess, it doesn’t matter anymore.” Said Evan

“Wait, what? Cmon! Even if I built the thing, I have no fuckin clue what that machine does! I at least want to know what it is you make me build!” Kane said.

“Nothing. It’s nothing. It’s just a machine. It does what I designed it to do. A part of a world in which you don’t want to exist.” Evan sighed
