'This is so fucked up'

I couldn't believe that everyone just like that not even the teacher asked him to follow.Then I remembered that after that incident even the attitude of the teachers changed except my home room teacher but that too ended shortly after she transferred to another class.

The thing is I could somewhat understand the actions of my classmates but I never did find out the reason why the teachers were ignoring me.I could only guess that the my classmates kinda fed the teachers with some sort of false information regarding me.

So I was currently alone in the bus which is surrounded by the huge forest.I would be lying if i didn't find this situation scary.I mean after all somehow I have been mysteriously brought here along with every one and worse now i have been completely abandoned by every one .Even now I could not figure out how we had ended up here no matter how much I think,

And since I was feeling sleepy, I lied down on the seats and started to sleep.I hoped that if they find some help they would at least have the basic courtesy to come find me here.

When I woke up, It seemed to me that it was already morning due to the bright light.And there were no signs of people, its either that they didn't find help or they have abandoned me here for good.

Sincerely hoping that it was not the second reason, I climbed down the stairs of the bus.Then I started to observe my surroundings not missing any minute details. And  then I figured that they didn't abandon me, how you ask, its because one of my conclusions was correct.Because it looks like I am in a different world since an island was floating in the distant sky.

'A floating island huh,I wonder what's over there '

To satisfy my curiosity, I decided that I would head over there.Of course it was not the only reason since there was a possibility that I could meet somebody over there who could shed some light on my current situation.

With that I started to pick some important things which would prove useful during my journey.In the end I picked only some food items, a few bottles of water and a knife which someone brought to cut fruits. I packed very light since I figured it would be easy for me to move faster with less weight.Thus I started my journey towards the floating island.

I was walking slowly along the forest observing everything.The reason for this is because I still don't know much about the forest or this place, so there is a possibility that wild animals may inhabit this place.I mean what would I do if suddenly a lion or a tiger started to chase me,So its only natural to be careful of your surroundings, isn't it?

Thankfully, I didn't encounter any wild animals that could kill me in my 30 minutes of travel.But i have noticed birds similar to sparrows humming a weird tune flying above me in the sky.And finally it looked like I exited the forest since I entered the plains.The floating island was clearly visible from here than before and I also saw what looked like a town with buildings at a short distance from the forest.

And as I walked near the town , i could see it was a small town with only some few dozens of buildings.As I looked around, I found people inhabiting the town.From a sign board, I learnt that this town's name was Balto.And from the looks of it, the buildings in the town looked similar to the buildings back at earth.And also the streets in the town had street lights in their sides.Therefore I guessed that this place had a technology similar to the earth which was a good thing, I hope.

Then suddenly a middle aged guy who was pacing nearby looked at me and started walking towards with a face full of smiles.

"Oh, You are here rather quickly, I thought it would take another week or two for you to arrive here but thank the lords since you are here sooner.By the way, I am this town's mayor "

"Excuse me, I think you have mistaken me for some one else?"

"What are you talking about? Aren't you the repairman we have called from the main city to repair our town's television?

"Ummm.... No, I am just a traveller"

As soon as I said that all the joy drained from his face, fearing that I would lose any chance of getting any help from him, I suddenly said.

"Don't worry, Even though I am a traveller I can also repair the television, its one of the tricks I have learned in my travel"  

"Are you sure, you can do it?"

"Just leave it to me"

With that his face returned to normal.If you are wondering, If i could do the job, don't worry its an easy job since i learned how to repair electronics goods since I worked a part time job in a electronic good's repair's shop.

Then he showed me the way into the largest building in the town.On the way, since he introduced me as the guy who is going to repair the tv,and hence the townspeople greeted me which felt weird for some reason.I mean what would they do If I can't repair the damned tv, would they kick me out or beat me up for giving them hope.Why did I feel uneasy you ask, its because suddenly there was a doubt in my mind that whether the technology over here followed the same principles similar to that of earth.

As I entered the room, he pressed a switch and turned on the light.In front of me there was a huge hall which I guess was used for town's meeting and at the further end there was a large television mounted on the wall.

"So that the television that you want to repair right?"

"Yep, its the only television in our whole town, don't know what happened but from last week the television screen is filled with lines which makes it impossible to watch the programs "

"hmm... is the main city too far away from here?"

"Nope its within a day's travel but the route from their to the town is currently infested by monsters, so unless the knights destroy them no body could come here from the main city"

"Monsters? What type of monsters, I never encountered any of them on my way here."

"Oh so you are really lucky, it seems that you came from the southern side which is elves territory, so of course there won't be any monsters over there"

I had many more question but didn't want to bombard the guy with tons of questions since it would raise some suspicion.Therefore I went to work on the television.Fortunately, the technology in this world is same as that of the earth albeit obsolete since nobody back at earth used these technologies any more but still I have learned about these tech since it was an interesting read.

It looked to me the problem in the TV was some kind of loose connection in the circuit board .I asked for some of the tools that are required for repairing.He immediately went inside one of the rooms in the side and gave me a tool box when he came out.

I suspected the cause of the malfunctioning wad due to some loose connection in the IC therefore I checked both vertical and horizontal IC for loose connections.And as I thought few parts of the vertical IC's had loose contacts on the solder joints due to the heat generated from the television's long usage.So I fixed the problems within few minutes.

"You can switch on the television now, I finished my work"

"What, already?" He asked me in a surprised voice while switching on the television

"See, now everything is ok, isn't it?

"Ah... thank you, You don't know how grateful I am to you, wait a minute, let me give your payment."

"What's the hurry, I will collect the payment when I am about to leave your town, do you know any place where I could stay till that day?"

"Don't worry lad, you can stay at my house as long as you want"

"Oh, thanks. I really appreciate it, Mayor"

Why I wanted to stay in this town? Is that what you wanted to ask me, Its simple after learning about monsters in the world who in their right mind would rush outside.And whats more it seemed there are even elves in this world.And I still didn't get a chance to learn why the fuck there is a floating island above us in the sky.So if I wanted to be be safe in this world there was a lot more stuff I needed to learn.

After some time he took me to his house.And the mayors house was simple.It only had two rooms and a single kitchen and a bathroom.And the shelves in the hall was filled completely with books.

"Are you a scholar, Mr MayoR?"

"No.... these books belong to my daughter, she is currently studying in the main city aiming to become a knight"

"Oh that's a great thing, what sort of knight does she want to become?"

"That girl lost her mother at an earlier age to the monsters during their travel.So to prevent that sort of tragedy happening she is aiming to become a magic knight"

"I am sorry but what does a magic knight do?"

"hmmm... how could you not know that basic thing, they use magical spells to fight along with their sword"

"Sorry and thanks for explaining it to me"

"Don't mention it, and you can make yourself at home since I am going to make my regular rounds in the town"  Saying that he left the room.

Magic spells huh? First I saw a floating island, Then found a town with tech similar to earth,After that I heard about monsters and elves, Now there is also a magic knight who uses magic spells. I feel like my head is spinning, let me rest for a while.With that I jumped on the bed in the guest room and fallen asleep with in minutes.
