--* Wilderness, Missor *--
The night was still. Miniature lights dotted the dark skies above, puffs of white sailing its waves of cool air. A bright pale moon overhead watched the trees dance with the wind like a graceful maiden, swiveling to and fro. It truly was a peaceful time.
Insects and bugs chirped and sang, filling the air with the melody of nature as the rustling of leaves provided harmony. This bountiful and peaceful nature rested upon a cliff’s edge, overlooking a distant city over the horizon. Unlike the silvery clouds above, wisps of black and atrocious smoke constantly emanated from the city: a dirty and filthy zone.
The buildings were gray and dull, all without life. A few dim lights lit the city along with the celestial object overhead, but it was barely enough to dispel the darkness shrouding it. A massive wall surrounded this whole region, enclosing in the disgusting grime and rubbish that filled the city to the brim. It was a complete antithesis of the peaceful and romantic aura of nature atop the cliffside.
It was crowded, it was dirty; it was a dystopia!
And yet, none of the millions of residents seemed to mind these facts. Ignoring the luscious nature just outside of the gigantic walls, they stayed within their own depraved world. A world of despair and solitude in the eyes of others was complete paradise to them.
The cliffside was a true oasis compared to this city, but its song of nature seemed to quiet down…
The trees stood still, their leaves quiet as the dead. The sounds of animals and bugs disappeared, leaving behind the sound of complete silence. The wind stopped as the air stagnated.
A true paradise or not, it seemed as if the cliffside lost all of its life. Instead of clear air and peacefulness, it was eerie and haunting, as if the Underworld was filling it with the dead.
Violet flames suddenly ignited in the air like embers of a fire. The bright glow of purple only amplified the uncanny atmosphere of the cliffside. As time passed, the violet flame embers grew and grew, developing into a roaring blaze. The green grass was scorched black and the trees once again danced with the warm winds of the towering fire.
Slowly, the column of inferno inflated and ripped apart until there was no more. The only evidence of its existence was the scorched earth and two mysterious figures who stood in place of it. Nature’s song returned as well as the winds flew and the animals began their choir anew.
Of the two figures, one was a beautiful female clad in an alluring white dress while the other was covered in a pitch black cloak, covering most of his body.
“Let’s go,” the woman ordered; a hint of impatience in her voice. With purposeful steps, she walked off of the cliff’s edge and plummeted to the ground. The cloaked man watched the swathes of smoke rising above the city before jumping off as well.
‘Another war I suppose…’ he thought as he watched the ground steadily approach him.
With a cloud of dust, the two impacted the ground, crushing the soil beneath their feet. The fall had the capability of killing a person, or at least permanently injuring their bodies, yet the two of them stood as if nothing happened.
“I’ll cast an illusion spell on us to prevent anyone from being too suspicious of us. Don’t act stupid while we are inside of the city,” she said while marking symbols in the air, “Your job is to prevent anyone from attacking me and, if need be, forcibly convince the organization.”
Just as she finished speaking, a dark veil covered her body, morphing her face into that of an average looking woman. Her white dress disappeared and changed into a baggy shirt and loose fitting jeans. Though the man didn’t feel his cloak disappear, his eyes saw simple clothes on his body instead.
After the illusion was set woman quickly walked deep into the forest surrounding the massive city, not waiting for the man to follow.
‘Cold…’ a hint of bitterness was obvious on his face as he stared at the now distant girl.

--* Soul Citadel, Underworld *--
“Chronos, you’ll be in charge of judging the Emissary of Wrath’s performance for this mission,” a blond haired man ordered, his six angelic wings fluttered behind him.
Beside him, an elderly man yawned lazily; his clothes a ruffled and dirty mess. Before the two of them was a similarly grossly clothed teenager whose eyes were plagued by a dark circle.
“Prince Lucifer, Master,” he glared at the elder with spiteful eyes, “isn’t it way too early to do this?”
The elderly man, Belphegor, the Prince of Sloth, sighed, “Shut up you damn disciple, you’ve been asleep for a week already!”
“Don’t you have Lilith to watch over him?!” Chronos’ eyes didn’t hide their venomous glare.
Lucifer could only smile helplessly, watching the two usually lazy individuals argue.
“You think that androphobic girl cares enough?” Belphegor roared, “If you don’t go, the Emissary of Greed might invade your house…”
Before the two men could speak any further, the teenager disappeared.
“Well, I’m going back to sleep,” the elder’s eyes shifted over to the celestial-looking being, “Lucifer, Satan might have news you need to hear. Find him some time.”
With a grim nod, the Prince of Pride watched the Prince of Sloth walk away slowly, before turning around and walking his own direction.

--* Fenlei City, Missor *--
It was like a completely different world. Though the two of them have traveled through such a lush and green forest for miles, it suddenly stopped as the city neared. Unlike the numerous trees and shrubbery they had just crossed, in front of them was a completely barren wasteland. The soil was a sickly brown color without any grass or plants. Bones of dead animals and the husks of rotting wood dotted the expansive area surrounding the city.
Surprise was in the eyes of Lilith as she examined the area. It was completely unbelievable that biomes could change that drastically. Though she rarely interacted with others, her eyes couldn’t hide their curiosity as she stared at Grim.
Noticing it, he answered with a deep voice, “Fenlei City, located in the Missor state has been home to hundreds of corrupt officials and dirty criminals,” he grinned, “like me.”
“Due to their greediness and the huge demand for income, many people resorted to disgusting acts to earn their keep. There was no sense of moral. And that included corporations and factories.”
“With their industrial powers, trees were cut down for lumber, animals were hunted and shot for fur and food. They simply wanted money.”
“But, the forest behind us belongs to another country: the Frozin Empire.” Lilith looked around and noticed a peculiar mark on some of the trees.
“Though, this might change soon once the superpowers collide once again,” Grim finished his speech, recalling the time he spent in the cities within the Missor state. It was to be his permanent home, a hunting ground of sorts, but it wasn’t to be.
“Well,” with Lilith’s curiosity filled, her face softened a little as she looked at Grim, “let’s go.”
….
Before the two of them was a massive gray wall. It was crudely crafted out of stone bricks, but it seemed to have served its purpose as gunshot holes littered its entirety. The only way into the city was through this wall, where a metal gate regulated any incomers. To the sides of the gate were tens of men checking civilians for weapons, illegal contraband, and other such items.
Well, in truth, it was all for show. None of them really bothered with such security acts as long as they received money. Corruption was truly everywhere in this world.
As the two approached, multiple guards eyed them. Greediness was quite obvious on some while others had eyes filled with either lust or trouble. Even though Lilith did well in masking her previously amazing looks, it was only to her standards. Her idea of average was similar to a goddess in the eyes of many of these depraved men. This included their clothes, which, although they resembled modern clothing, was crafted out of pristine looking materials.
Grim didn’t seem to notice this problem with their costumes either, as he did not pay attention to material objects or Lilith’s beauty.
Numerous men approached the two of them, their faces warped with lust or greed. Their large bodies completely blocked the way into the city. Annoyance was quite obvious in Lilith’s eyes, while Grim just looked forward, uninterested.
“You two, we’re gonna need some kind of payment to get through this gate, a toll you can say” one of them smiled nastily, his rotting teeth and horrific breath invaded their faces.
Though neither of them responded, however, Lilith was completely enraged, “Let’s say… $1,000?”
Their loud voices attracted the attention of many other people. Seeing the situation, they could only feel pity in their hearts, but none of them bothered to take action. Why cause trouble for themselves for the sake of strangers?
As neither of the two individuals responded, the ‘guards’ felt enraged, “Hey, we’re talking to you two!”
Spittle flew in the air as they yelled and threatened them, yet they received no compensation for their troubles. “Alright, since it seems like you don’t have money, just spend the night with us all, huh little lady?” their lustful eyes licked Lilith’s body, similar to the demons in the Citadel Courtyard.
It was at this point that she broke, “Shut up you vermin!”
Lilith’s amethyst colored eyes glowed eerily. Moans filled the air as the bystanders felt their heads almost explode. Hundreds of horrific creatures materialized out of nothing, surrounding the guards and stunning them with fear. Screams of horror and anguish radiated out, filling the ears of Grim, who only smiled, curiously examining the monsters around them.
All of the monsters had the qualifications to overthrow the most terrifying nightmares man could imagine and take that spot for themselves. Masses of bleeding flesh, littered with bloodshot eyes crawling on the ground and hunting people. Gigantic hell hounds with flaming fur ripping out the flesh of corrupted men and burning them into ash. Bone constructs resembling giants crushed and flattened everything in their way.
‘So this is the power of the Emissary of Lust,’ Grim examined the beautiful girl with undisguised curiosity.
This massacre occurred for minutes, dispelling the lives of hundreds. Then it stopped.
The ravaged bodies of dismembered victims, the massive monsters hunting down their prey, even the blood that pooled on the floor, it all disappeared. Instead, what was left behind were hundreds of unconscious bodies, white foam leaking of out their mouths.
“There goes our cover,” Grim stated.
“Shut up,” Lilith’s face scrounged up.
The gate they wanted to enter was agape, leaving them a path into the city. However, between the two Emissaries and the gate were hundreds of armed men and women pointing their guns towards them.
“So, what now?”
