Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Amidst the darkness, eventually came light, or at least what seems to be visible surroundings, the individual can't really tell what's going on around him though, as it was too dark, the only thing that was visible to him are silhouettes moving on the background of his vision.

Creatures, whatever they were, kept moving, most if not all had four limbs, each silhouette moved with vigor, the individuals were filled with energy as they did their respective activities. The newly reincarnated person looked on for several more minutes before getting drowsy and falling asleep.

When he came to, the cave was lit, the light came from the rays that shone from the cave's entrance, his vision became 10 times better and he was finally able to make a distinction when it came to his surroundings, for one, there were several creatures, green in appearance surrounding him, their long nose and ugly faces contorted as they rode stop pale skinnyd, taller individuals with the same body shape as them- four limbs connected by a single body finished by a head at the top of the body.

Looking around even further, he was able to deduce that some of the paler people had bloated stomachs, some yelled as they proceeded to procure another green-skinned creature out of their groin.

A greenskin noticed him when he was looking around and upon doing so, he was carried and fed with a red, mushy substance that made his tongue sour. He still chewed it as I spite of the metallic taste, the food fed to him has proven to he quite delicious.

After that, he once again fell asleep.

When he woke up once again, a voice greeted him-

Hello. It was female in origin, the newborn was able to tell it was the girl that greeted him before he was thrust into this body. I am here to congratulate you on your transportrtation Tori said in a rather polite tone. Though your situation is pretty grim right now, please take note that we are watching you progress.

Oh and my creator has decided to name you, he's called you 267-B in some cases, though that's not really a name now is it? How about grim? Sound good?

"Augwa!" Were the words that came out of grim's mouth, Tori did not know whether or not he approved of the names but she could care less. Anyways! I'm gonna leave for now, bye. Grim swore he could feel her smile from here as she said that.

And so, having no choice but to accept that name Grim slept unsatisfied.

Waking up for the third time, the goblin was able to notice that the outside was starting to once again get dark, though his vision was fine this time around, Grim was able to see what goes on around him, and, well, it was a lot- the greenskins by now had become plenty, and they're as vigorous as they were the night previously, thanks to his new foundd night-vision, the goblin was ableee to clearly see what they were doing,

Some of the green skins could be seen mounting the larger, paler creatures, the green skins grinned as they moved their bodies against the frame of the larger creatures, whom didn't act but rather atayed still, their eyes were lifeless, belonging to that of the creatures that the others ate. Though, they seem to choose to not consume them.

Concluding that it was due to the fact that they simply had other uses, grim continued to observe his kin.

Some were counting circular objects on their hands, the others played around with a glistening object situated in their palms, Grim took notes that the other green skins eyed these individuals wearily.

Speaking of which, the tribe once again found him awake, a goblin was pressured by the others to move and he was once again carried and fed. He fell asleep afterwards.

By the next time he was awake, the cave was once again clear of the green skins and thus no one was there to feed, fortunately, he was able to stand up and with that he noticed that he has grown considerably since the last tome he was awake on the floor of the cave, with an innate understanding of what he once was, Grim remembered the different items his kin was holding the night prior, it was a small blade, handheld thanks to a handle. He knew what it was conceptually, he just has a hard time putting it together.

Still, he wasn't one to give up and after spending a few minutes of thinking, Grim looked around the cave to familiarize himself with his line of thought.

A handle... A blade... Were his thoughts as he delved around the different parts of the small cavern, trying to find something that would spark his interest. After what seemed like hours, something clicked as he looked at a thick branch that he lifted up, Grim eyed it closely, more so at it's utmost center, a thought occured to him as he vaguely remembered the knive's lay out, though it wasn't that obvious last night, the blade was clearly embedded into the handle, hence why it needed no rope to keep it together. Grim kept the branch as he looked around for the blade.

Eventually, he was able to find a rock that had spikes protuding on both ends, the goblin grabbed it, put it right beside the branch, and stabbed the sharpened rock towards the thick twig.

Of course, due to his crude method, the stick simply snapped in half and was no longer of use afterward. And so, finding nothing else like it within the cave, Grim looked towards the ray of light and proceeded to go towards it.

It took some time before his eyes could fully adjust, but after it did, Grim was able to see a plethora of twigs and branches, all varying in sizes. Some were bigger than his original branch, he grabbed as many as he could and went back inside.

After a few tries, a happy goblin hopped around in glee, a primitive knife that looked like it would fall apart with the basic of motions on his hand.
