I know this is probably a death sentence for most authors- especially those wishing to begin their career as such, but I will be going on an extended hiatus until I have at least book 2 written. I recently picked up a book series where the author's note included the author's writing process and something in my head clicked. And, after long talks with my husband and a few close friends who volunteered for the unfortunate duty of "checking my story's vibe", I've made up my mind.
I'd say, it's mostly due to stress and other factors, but in reality, I'm not confident anymore in how I started Lumimoss' beginnings. As such, I'll be taking down the chapters that I've posted with very solid plans on reuploading the finalized versions.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Truly and honestly, from the bottom of my little goblin heart I thank you all for a very strong false start. While I'm firing on all cylinders, praying to the almighty cosmos and whatever deity with a sympathetic ear, and typing my little heart out, I hope y'all will be with me there in spirit, ready to be reintroduced to Amethyst. I promise not to (as one of my best friends put it) "pull a P.R. and wait 10 years due to perfectionism." We love P.R., but I ain't writing about tragic lute players who fall in love with... uh... mm... Well- I at least promise not to take more than a year to write what I need to!
I love you all and thank you for letting me take the opportunity to carry my heavy heart with a bit more ease and at a slower pace.
Peace and love be with you all. <3
