Chapter 1: Alpha,Sigma And First Life (Part 1 of Chapter 1)

(Part 1 of Chapter 1)

A man lies beneath the night sky, moonlight accentuating his wavy silver hair. Eyes shut, chest motionless and body cold, as if life did not grace his vessel, all around him a deep silence sets in the barren land. Standing 6-foot-tall, with light cocoa skin, and an athletic figure. He wears black suit trousers, a black and gold striped open-collar shirt and a long white lab coat running the length of his body, fluttering in a non-existent wind. From the shadows behind him, a woman strolls forth, her heels systematically clacking against the stony ground.

"Have you finished daydreaming"

"..."

Seeing no visible response I walk to his head and bend down slightly, looking down at his face. Inching my face closer to his, I resist the urge to poke his cheek. No good, my finger as if having a life of its own moves closer to his cheek, must poke his chee--

"Hey Sigma"

"..."

"What are you doing with your finger?"

"Adjusting my glasses"

I reply, straightening up whilst pushing my glasses further up on my nose.

"You know, from here I have a great view of your brea-AGH!"

My face flushes pink with anger as I drive my heel into his skull, pressing his head into the ground.

"I'm sorry Master, I didn't quite hear what you said?"

"Agh it hurts, I didn't say anything I'm sorry I'm sorry"

"I don't know what you mean Master, could you repeat what you said?”

“I’m sorry for ogling you, but… Could you stay there for a sec?”

“…Why?”

“Well, when your stamp on my head, your skirt raises just enough for me to see your panties.”

“…”

“Oh black lace with roses design, did you want to show this to me later?”

I felt a vein throb on my head at his words, my anger rising to a new level. I raised my foot up above his head, condensing the mana in the air around us into it.

The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.

“Die, you lowly cockroach!”

“W-Wait a sec, Sigma! Sigma don’t you da-!”

I brought my foot down onto his head, driving him down into the earth causing the surrounding ground to explode outwards from the force carving out a house sized crater in the ground.

*sigh*

Even as a deity, it will take him a minute or two to dig his way out without using his powers.

Honestly, thinking back on it, we’ve only existed on this planet for two days yet Master is already driving me insane.

Master is the divinity of Creation and Evolution on this planet, a reincarnated being, who from my understanding was a scientist in his prior life. Being the first being on this planet aside from the celestial god of the planet, he took on the name ‘Alpha’ the first.

The celestial god granted him a number of gifts, foremost amongst them was ‘The Ark’, a divine artefact which contain the DNA of every single species on Master’s former world. I guess that this was to help him readjust to his new position, perhaps allowing him to witness humanity once more in his new life.

The second gift provided to him is me. I am a newly created divinity of wisdom, born for the purpose of aiding Master. As I was ‘gifted’ to him at creation, my physical appearance was greatly influenced by Master’s ‘preferences’ unintentionally of course, however it is annoying that ever since my birth, Master has acted like Sexual harassment put on a lab coat and gained divinity. As master took the name Alpha, I decided upon Sigma to be my name, it ‘fit’ if that makes any sense.

Seeing the ground before me rumble slightly I waited in anticipation, raising my foot in the air once more.

“Puhaaa- Air! It feels so good to breathe!”

Master head burst from the ground, seeing his stupid expression once more igniting my anger.

“YOU DON’T NEED TO BREATHE!”

I shouted down at him, once more driving my mana loaded heel into his head, forcing him lower into the ground.

After repeatedly bludgeoning Master into the ground a few dozen times, I dusted myself off and walked away.

“I’ll see you in the morning Master”

“See you in the morning Sigma.”

Master’s muffled voice called out from behind me, signifying the end of our tiresome exchange.
