As I pedaled my way through the rain, my mind kept drifting back to Sweet Magic. I couldn't help but hum their catchy tune in my head as I rode. It was the first time in a while that I had felt excited about something, and it made me feel alive.
When I finally arrived at school, I was out of breath and my clothes were drenched. But I was relieved to see that I had made it on time. As I walked through the halls, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness.
I found my classroom and stepped inside. The room was quiet, and the only sound was the tapping of raindrops on the window. I looked around and saw a few unfamiliar faces, but there was no sign of Daiki yet.
I took a deep breath and walked over to an empty seat at the back of the classroom. I unpacked my things and waited for the rest of the class to arrive.
As the minutes ticked by, more students trickled in. Some of them looked at me curiously, but no one approached me. I started to feel a little lonely, but I reminded myself that Daiki would be here soon.
Finally, Daiki walked in while nervously looking around hoping to see me, but I was so intrigued by the raindrops outside that I didn't notice him coming in. Without noticing me he took a seat on the opposite side of the class.

A couple of minutes later, the teacher walked in and introduced herself. She went over the syllabus and class rules, but my mind was wandering. I was vividly searching for Daiki in the classroom. However, I didn't see him until our eyes finally locked. We exchanged a brief smile. My heart filled with joy, though I would have to wait until the end of class to catch up with him.
I couldn't wait for the class to end so I catch up with Daiki. When the bell rang, I quickly gathered my things and stepped out into the hallway. I looked around and saw a familiar face in the crowd. It was Daiki! He had changed a lot since we last saw each other, but I recognized him right away.
"Daiki!" I called out, waving my hand. He turned around and saw me. A big smile spread across his face and he ran over to me.
"Kanashi! It's so good to see you!" he exclaimed, hugging me tightly. "I missed you so much."
"I missed you too," I said, smiling back at him.
We caught up with each other as we walked to our next class. Daiki told me all about his time in America, the places he had visited, and the friends he had made. I told him about my life here in Tokyo, and about Sweet Magic.
"Sweet Magic?" he repeated, looking at me curiously.
"Yeah, they're a new idol group that I found online. They're amazing!" I gushed, telling him all about their music and their dance routines.
Daiki listened intently, but I could tell he didn't really understand why I was so excited about them. I shrugged it off, knowing that not everyone shared my love for idols.
As we walked into our next class, I couldn't help but feel grateful for having Daiki back in my life.
