Three figures were readily apparent.
A man appears from a beam of light that emerged from the shadows, looking shiny and full of glad tidings.
Another middle-aged man floats in the sky, where the illusory sun has just disappeared. He has a righteous and potent appearance. His surroundings were eerie, like a burning orb that caused the surrounding light to faintly refract.
And a devout nun, dressed in a white robe embroidered with delicate gold and green threads, was kneeling near the well with a serene expression on her face. Her looming aura vivified everything, directly revitalizing the moribund things around her.
The strong man was holding an illusory sun in the palm of his hand. He chanted an ancient word that, by its very nature, embodied the sun god. "Sol Oriens."
A terrible resonance, invisible but felt by all present, like the shadow that could not be hidden in the daylight, an invisible stream of power that directly attacked the heretic and vaporized all that was evil and dirty.
The weak curse couldn't be sustained under the aura of two gods, and it certainly couldn't last for long. The man was sure that when he unleashed an item containing the power of a god, it would finish this filth.
In his eyes, the heretic did not resist. He willingly let the heat consume him while he endured the pain. "Oh yes, pain, such a good taste. How can I feel more pain when I'm at the end?" There was little left of the scarred face; everything seemed to have been vaporized by the terrible heat, including the pathogens in the area. The deadly smog was gone, replaced by dry air that made it impossible for even the most virulent pathogens to survive.
The freak was still standing on his bare, bony legs. With the withered flesh from the deadly attack, he still spoke mockingly through the haunting voice that still emanated from him. "Ladies and gentlemen," he declared, "a new war has begun.
After saying that, the man's body turned into something similar to dust. The three of them took action. However, the dust didn't seem to be trapped, but rather sucked in somewhere. The priest of the Sun Temple noticed the trouble and quickly ran after them.
There were still two people in the square. Chaos swirled around them. The scene was littered with incomplete bodies. As the two servants of the gods displayed their majesty, most of the surroundings changed. The smoldering heat and the surrounding flora caused the dirt from the terrible plagues to disappear.
There were a few lethargic glances from people outside the scene. They didn't understand what was going on, which confused and frightened them. Because everything around them seemed more difficult to imagine than anything they had seen before, even many magical technologies had been displayed at this fair.

As some priests and others wearing various green and yellow robes approached, these people gradually came to their senses. The priests and guards began to comfort the crowd and control the situation.
"There will be much work to be done." The man, who looked young, spoke to the nun nearby.
The nun heard this, but still maintained her posture. She knelt with her face full of sorrowfulness and compassion. She touched and soothed the unfortunate souls who were unwittingly being attacked. The grass and flowers around her fluttered as if their nature whispered to her to recite words of mercy for the dead.
As she stood, the air around her gradually began to come alive. It was as if a breath of life had descended and flowed through everyone, lifting their vitality. The priests at the scene were the most vivid observers of what was happening. They looked at her with awe, especially the priests in green robes who showed pious feelings.
"Not only here, but I also sensed that the Famine Knight had recently appeared in the eastern region. A consuming hunger seemed to be spreading there. Perhaps they are performing a ritual for it. Also, the weak were divided into three. Two places were here, and one was inside the royal palace." Her voice was as light as spring.
"Yes. That is why I want to meet you. Those filthy rats made a scene in the palace."
"Can you find the third trail? That must be the one who snuck into the palace."
"Yes. In the northern forest. Near someone we know."
"Someone we know." The man muttered.
"Conflict." She answered.
The man whispered, having heard what the nun had said. He was about to leave and head north when the ethereal voice echoed again.
"No need for that, Lucius. He just went for a walk after being cooped up in that office for a long time. Give him some space. There is something important for you to attend to now."
"One of their intentions in the square was obvious. They announced that their god has awakened. There will be a war in the future." The man spoke.
"Yes, but more. His aura must have been weakened by Frial's power. Although His presence has not descended into the physical world, something will change in an unfortunate way. He was able to convey the notion of a curse and prepare for today's event. It seems that they weren't just planning for this terror.
"Right, such a fancy preparation, not just for that."
"They won't last long. The first thing you need to do is to find out what their real intention is." The nun said it carefully.
"Alright. I will take care of that. But please, my lady, come to the palace to see what they have done. Maybe we can find out something."
"Ah, we can call some help. The O.S.P.I.S. seems to be useful nowadays."
"They are. But I don't think they will be very pleased to do that."
"I will deal with this." The man respectfully said goodbye to the nun and quickly disappeared.
The nun turned her head and looked around the square. Flesh and blood are everywhere, and even flowers and lush grass cannot remove or cover them in the darkness. The people were terrified. She had sensed that the seeds of doubt had been sown. Tomorrow the truth and the lie will grow. Many people will use and consume them as food of desire. "If we do nothing, there will be chaos. Her presence quickly vanished, and a beautiful flower appeared in her place.
The moon in the sky was still bright, as if the dark clouds that had just appeared were nothing. For today and for tomorrow.
