Alafa was seated at the lunch table waiting for his father with his mother, Madara.
"Why was father so angry yesterday?" Alafa asked his mother.
"There are things only your father can explain honey, you should ask him." his mother answered.
The door opened and it was like the flies ceased making sounds as a grumpy Fadara entered the kitchen.
"Father?" Alafa asked.
"What happened yesterday? Why did you sound so angry when talking to mr.Valata?"
"Do not talk about that fool son." Fadara answered.
"You will one day become the elder of the village and encounter lunatics like that guy yesterday. All you have to do when that happens is ignore them."
Fadaras words left a big sensation of confusion in Alafa.

"AAAAA!!!!" A loud scream from the outside echoed through the village.

Fadara hasted from the table.
Alafa looked at his mother, who signed him to follow after.
When they arrived at the scene Alafa felt his lunch on it's way back out the way it came from.
On the ground was what looked like a small carcass, with wounds all over and a missing head.
And a crying woman in the arms of her husband.
"What happened here? Anybody knows?" Fadara asked as there gathered more people around them, and as they saw the dead body everybody froze from fright.
But people started talking and sayng things one after another.
"This is a sign. The enemies of the Laradagad has cursed the land. We are doomed!" One said after another with very worried faces.
"But why would the enemies of Laradagad be cursing the land?" One said in denial.
"They bring only plague and destruction, it is in their nature to hate the living" Fadara said with a loud yet calming voice, that let everyone catch a breath.
"What are we to do elder?" everybody asked Fadara.
He let out a big sigh, trying not to show weakness and keep everyone from panicking anymore.
As he was opening his mouth, Fadara started coughing blood and fell on the ground.
Everyone panicked and said "the land is now cursed".
Alafa fell on his knees in front of his now dead father crying, and in the chaos ran away down the mountain.
