Alafa was looking over the field of beautiful flowers and wondered over it's beauty for some time. But it became time to go so he called for his dog.
"Cana!" he shouted once with a loud voice. Barely waiting a second he could see in the distance that the dog was aproaching with great speed and her tounge out. It ran up to Alafa with high speed, making him fall on his back while licking his face continuously.
Alafa took Cana and went back home to his village, on the top of mount Manata. They were part of the once nomadic group known as Alafabata, but then settled on mount Manata after 7 generations of a nomadic lifestyle.
"Comming back so soon kid?" a voice asked. Alafa saw the figure of a man to the side of the entrance to the village, looked at Cana who decided to jump at the man, but not as a form of attack. Instead she licked the man as he kept petting her.

"Who are you?" Alfa asked the man.
"My name is Valata, I am here to see the village elder if I may?" the man answered.
Alafa thought, "Cana would not be jumping in anyone so joyfully if they bore ill intent" so he let him in while he still was petting Cana.
"Lucky for you, I am the son of the elder" he said with a big smile as he opened the entrance.
So Alafa showed Valata to his father, the elder Fadara of Alafabata. Valata was accepted with open arms and great smiles in the village, but Valata wanted to talk in private with the elder over a serious topic very quickly. Fadara, concerned guided him to his meeting-room and listened.
Yet Alafa could only hear loud screams coming from his father, and a worried Cana besides him as Valata went out the village never to be seen on the Mount again.
Mount Manata began to shake as Valata began leaving the feet of the mountain and the sky turned scarlet, as the rain killed the vegetation of the earth. Fadara recorded the incident as Valata, after the visitor.
Alafa did yet not know what made his father so mad in his discussion with Valata, and was eager to find out more of what had happened
