Ch. 4- Enough About the Non-MC Hero

Ch. 4- Enough About the Non-MC Hero

Our MC was tired of being treated like air, and decided to take control for once. Issuing orders, Francis said, "Enough about this nonsense. From now on, we will be talking about me, and only me, during breakfast, lunch, and dinner", was heard all over the intercom of hollow caves being the main network of giving messages to the populace. As it was the Pains Kingdom, the people would be, in your terms, quite odd, but to them it was an accomplishment to be so upbeat in their given circumstance. They, in our standards, would seem quite depressed, you see. But their situation, they believed, was not even close to extraordinary, so absorbed were they in their miseries (though not all were like that, but the ol' grumps were).

Unceremoniously, he disappeared the enemy, all with a wave of his hand- more accurately, the threat vanished, as though sucked inside his palm. It tickled, so he giggled giddily (or is it giddily giggled?)

With a feeling of discomfort, he faded from view periodically as he thought fiercely. Even if he had been given the gender of a guy, he originally was not with a gender, having been both at the same time, so he felt that without a balance, he would just be another homo sapien sapien (sapien sapien sapien). That word is fun to say and write, really. So he morphed, with periodic fading, into someone with the other gender. Still, not having both sides at the same time greatly felt imbalanced to him, so he decided on a non-gendered form. Yeah. No puberty. YOLO.

(More will be added and revised in due time. asap asap, when I am able. Sorry, MC dude, yo, just hang in there. patience brings wisdom {and gets hens to lay eggs. Currently, I must turn in for the day.)

In the midst of a clearing containing a clear crystal pond, a being of malevolence and one of light met for a discussion. Seated as they were in a veranda that was centered on a bridge bordering both sides of blue, reflecting water, one of white-painted wood, smells of fresh rain drifted, with a silence contrary to birds which chirped dopey dopey dohhhh. Lying open on the table, to the interest of all except, seemingly, these aforementioned-so-far-non-MC's, a character both noble, straight-forward, and cruel, spoke.

"I see you've been having a running nose dripping on a bonfire", she spoke in a mature, aristocratic voice. Tea appeared, with possibly the wave of a hand, as though a movie was in the making, and the stage and props and edits were all raring to go. "Why dress in such a get-up, dear sister? Why mess where one should never set foot? Hmmm? ...That is what our discussion should reveal, and you would do well to tell your errors." Stirring the dark-as-night,-and-just-as-heavy tea, as well as her sis, whom she called mostly based on profession, though only slightly by relation, she watched as silk-clad Neverr deigned to speak.

"It must be said that we truly share opposing opinions and professions, and though we meet and greet, we can hardly be called sisters. I know not of this felony-like sin you speak of, as it is simply a way to show my loyalty to and help those of justice, not deceit."

"Surely you jest", scoffed Lell. "Your country has kept you blind to their cruelties, and even we, with our black deeds, believe kingdom Gron to be second to not a single nostril of ours. You are only being used, and if not, than you definitely submitted to mere corruption, which will betray you in your mere end. You know it, and yet, you encourage their greed and behaviors, don't you? As though we are the ones who broke the law, and not you- don't pretend, for reason declares you guilty!"

       "If you must know----"

"Don't interrupt! I can't believe you did it!" She declared with a shake of her veil, of black, that was cut in the latest diagonal, half-face fashion. "Trust, bond, all thrown away to enter that side- the side of tricksters and of other criminals, evils, and yet, you are the worst one of all, having---!"

"I would like to refrain from the raising of our voices, especially my own, but clearly there's no end to this tireless and small quarrel of yours, so please---"

"-------Why did your put that being into history? Why did you make it? Do you have any idea how severe it is to have him interfere with the destruction of the kingdom of Pains, having put him into the past, one billion years ago?! Are you trying to kill us all? The unhappiness, the people, these lives--- to even THINK of changing history halfway in time, WHO DO YOU THINk YOU ARE?!"

In the silence, bird droppings could be heard as they hit the water. A ripple of scales in there, soon an arm reached out, and used a globe of water to wrap around the offending piece of sh*t, and hurl it into a cloud called Oblivion. Satisfied, the flicking tail splash went all the way to the veranda, and happened to be repelled by a circular barrier that came into being one the object was in contact with it.

Coldly, Neverr with a flowery and fashionable veil as well, which had a maroon bow, on her off-white clothes, that had dulled along with her mood, sharply spoke, "You've went out of line. That did not defy the laws we follow. It was not taboo. They changed it yesterday, after all. And won't it be of interest, a strangely OP character, appearing in our history? You know my goal was never simple, nor complete---but it soon will be." Shocked to the point of no noise being made while trying to speak, Lell thought hard. The only way to change the opinion of the committee was e0ither through persistence and evidence of beneficial-ness, or through power, enough to be viewed as a threat, and a deal to not be a threat, with that power; one where a compromise, of sorts, but more an agreement, could be reached and made. In this world called Nur, the people of the committee seemed nearly like part timers, but were all significant in some way; irreplaceable, and invincible. The card she played was one of compromising brute force and power to gain a means to an end. dun dun dun.!!

It didn't matter who it was, though more significantly the grudges held were top notch and off the chain. As someone wishing to solve problems, her own came first, so it was only natural that she solve her own problems, uniquely. Interestingly.

If only that didn't mean dragging those all over this planet as well as herself in it, to get what was wanted- revenge.
